The Circuit Riding Preacher

"The Circuit Riding Preacher" is a song about the traveling preachers that were a great part of our nation's physical and spiritual growth. Those preachers followed the pioneers westward and had a "circuit" that they traveled, visiting new towns and homesteads. They brought news from the outside world, and the "Good News" of God's word for their souls.
