Her acting was brilliant during the battle when she's trying to create fire and the fear in her expression when it isn't working.

You just can't forget a woman like her. I love her. Her voice as Melisandre and her actual accent shows how great actress she is.

    I'm so hyped for Instinct.
I am hoping that they'll bring Melisandre back in a prequel eventually--definitely not as another huge ongoing project that would require the same amount of commitment, of course. I'm sure most of the GoT regulars are pretty wiped out and not keen on signing onto a series of that scale again. And I totally want Carice in particular to be able to do other things because she's an astonishingly wonderful actress whose versatility and specialties (which are decidedly different from Mel) should be globally appreciated. She's got lots of brilliant things ahead, I can absolutely tell--and I hope she can work in more singing because her voice is beautiful as well. {:-3 Running Man Up is an excellent initiative, plus I know there's a Greta Garbo biopic she's wanted to make for some time that she'd be perfect for, etc...bit stressful to think about, yeah, heh. If I could take care of every mundane task for her so she could have the maximum amount of time to do everything she wants to I totally would, because I know it would be totally worth it. Still, a bit of younger-Mel here and there, in the Red Temple, revealing some of its secrets to us, studying magic like Twilight Sparkle, exploring her background, ya know...that WOULD be freakin' awesome too. Or just a brief side miniseries about her, a handful of episodes summarizing her past. Anything that'd be fascinating but manageable for her.
On a whole other note: Omg, I was Team Daenerys like the interviewer, lol. By the end I was just like, "Eff it, I'm still on her side! And these morons deserved the dragonfire!" I knew Dany probably wouldn't wind up ruling, nor Jon...I knew at least one of them would end up dead, though my money was on Jon because he'd already died and been resurrected, and thus might be living on borrowed time, so to speak. So although I expected a tragic/bittersweet end, the one thing I simply could not believe even as I was watching it was...what she wound up doing. Such a lovely message of "No matter how hard you try to do good in the world and change things for the better, no matter how strong you are, if you have mental illness running in your genes and you weren't brought up in the traditional nuclear family unit, you're doomed to die a delusional schizo psychopath stabbed by your nephew-lover. :D :D And the position you worked so hard for will go to the real ultimate villain, the kid who didn't use his incredible powers to help save the world or defeat the evil queen, but only helped set immense destruction in motion so he could kick back and casually accept the crown after turning down his lordship. :D :D :D AND let his selfish Cerseifinger Jr. snake-in-the-grass sister rule the North because overpowered Starks are awesome, yaayyy. :D :D"
Meli on the other hand, got SUCH a beautiful, poignant, well-earned exit...at long last coming home to her beloved lord, having ultimately spurred the defeat of Death incarnate...though I'd been waiting for a 1v1 face-off with the Night King, every moment of hers in The Long Night was magnificent. That pleading and near-panic during the trench-lighting? Just impeccable...far as I'm concerned she was Azor Ahai, the Princess Who Was Promised.
P.S. I'm a weirdo who's always found even animated Jafar oddly attractive (like, was I supposed to be grossed out when Jasmine kissed him? 'Cause I wasn't...xD)
P.P.S. Carice is the most beautiful person in the history of mankind, but that goes without saying!

I love the part where she starts speaking about how taboo female ambition is. Mellisandres character Arc was wonderful that's one thing Got did well (until the end!) which was give a character a very realistic in depth psychological portrayal of each character in a realistic way. Every one had their reasons for why and how they do what they do, as in real life.

Her story arch wasn't completed because her story arch is part of the prince who is promised prophecy and the show ended before they could fully flesh that out. Hopefully George R.R. Martin will wrap up that prophecy in his book.

i think she's beautiful, and possibly smart, but it seems her lips' embouchure is slightly downturned, and i wonder if that is racial or acquired. And even though she seems to be mocking the american political process, i would still do her. Beauty: 8.8, poise 8.5, fashion 7.9, maturity n/a, elegance 8.7, responsiveness 8.6, attentiveness 8.5, ears 9.2, projection/voice 7.7, expression 8.1, body language 8.3, humour/personality >8.5. Not enough to go on, but you see the asides we can barely hear her on. I'm sure you'll say i'm too hard on her, but these are high-scores, and definitely marriage material, excepting any possible conflicts of interest.
