Got a 2025 Forester Premium yesterday from the dealership while my 2019 Forester Sport is in the shop. Very impressed with the noise level in the cabin. Even the mid level sound system isn't terrible. Many customizable audio settings to hide the fact that it isn't the top level system. The suspension absorbed the crappy winter potholes all over Chicago. I'd buy this if it wasn't for the clunky infotainment unit; the one in my 2019 is hot garbage and the CarPlay feature works when it wants to.
Note about the Screens. I would prefer no Touch Screens my self. Call my old school. But I like Buttons, Switches and Dials myself. I do not want the complication or distraction of a Infotainment System in my Automobile. I prefer the Traditional Instrument Cluster as well. Engine Speed, Speedometer, Fuel lever, Small Info display. No Distracting flashy elements.
@ yeah the lady salesman helping me said pricing and more details come this month. If it’s more than I’m willing to pay I’ll find a really low mileage RAV4 hybrid instead (already have a hybrid so I can’t go back to a gas model after being spoiled this long 😂).
@@overthrowccp2301 It should be a bit more money to buy, but why would insurance be more on a hybrid? As for maintenance, that should actually be less on a hybrid since there are fewer parts that wear out.
More money for insurance? Why would that be? Every hybrid I’ve own had negligible difference vs. ICE counterparts. Also hybrids are CHEAPER to maintain, not more.
@@overthrowccp2301electric ac compressor, and electric water pump so no drive belts to replace. Toyota eCVT so many less parts to wear, and fluid services needed. The hybrid electric system saves wear and tear on the engine because it allows the engine to turn off quite a bit (less spark plug and fuel injector maintenance). Lastly regenerative breaking saves wear on your break pads so last twice as long. I currently have a Toyota hybrid and I could never go back a pure ICE knowing all of that.m, and yes Subaru will be using Toyotas eCVT in their new hybrids.
I don’t like digital gauges or odd shifters! At least Subaru kept analog gauges and a regular shifter! I wish the reviews would focus on the trim level at hand and not refer to the higher or lower trims.

If you are looking for a Subaru SUV with a Turbo. Take a look at the Subaru 2025 Outback Wilderness, 2025 Outback Limited XT, or the 2025 Outback Touring XT.

For me ,the perfect car.

Got one and it is a great car.
I just preordered a hybrid model said to release in the spring. Hopefully it turns out to be great!
I pre-order one, my guy just called and said it's looking like April but no price. If more than 3000 over I'll just buy the gas version.

Purchasing a 2025 soon ❤
Love mine!
I have a 2024 Honda Accord 1.5 litre with a CVT and one thing I noticed is my CVT doesn't darn at all no matter how you drive
This would be a good car for my stepdaughter.
You did a great job 👏 😊
waiting for the hybrid
yes, it's saving the gas, but cost more money for insurance, more money for maintenance, and more expensive to buy. Unless you are a uber/lyft driver.

Really nice suv❤
The recline adjustment for the rear seats is located at your hip. It is a nylon strap.
What about the touring XT ?
Ignoring rattles, would you say the 2025 Forester has a quieter cabin than the 2025 Chevy Equinox that you also reviewed.
"Compared to its competitors ..." Like what and at what price point?
Is there a difference in ride quality and handling between the Premium and the Sport , which has a differently tuned suspension?
Have a choice to make. Either the Subaru base or Honda HR-V?

how come these fog lights are different from the 2025 premium on subarus website
Very nice review. Looks like the side mirros have turn signal light mounted. Did I see it correctly? And this is the Premium trim, right? Thank you.
Premium doesn’t have turn signals on the mirrors
