You really telling me that the best thing they had to use as a bridge was ONE WOODEN plank? I accept using a wooden plank, but only one? They could’ve used ladders.
@@xaviert.123 they could rappel down to the stuck cabin using the shaft of the other cabin. They could use a metallic ladder, instead of a wood plank. They could support the plank better then they did for no reason. Could try to just push the loose cables to the side of the cabin, instead of trying to lift them all together (that's the only option they considered when they thought about the weight of the cables). They could make an opening through a side wall at the level where the cabin is stuck. Many, many options much safer than what they actually did.
@@chuno99 I agree with most of these! Well said. I am no firefighter but I personally disagree with only one thing - the ladder. A ladder would make less sense as the civilians would have to step on the rungs. Goes without saying, that's pretty dangerous. You're right though, they 100% could have just moved the cables aside.
Jimmy had a lot of potential, too bad he had to go out in a horrible way. When I first saw Gallo I thought they looked a bit alike. So glad Gallo didn't go on a similar path

In my opinion that's more scary sm with a bunch of holes? Not trusted
@@ForeverHisAndHers a metal ladder vs a wooden plank that could easily snap? They could always also put the plank on the ladder for more stability.
It's for the drama but it also depends because they don't always have enough room for the ladders
@@BellaKarim23 that elevator looked to be 9-10 feet tall. Get the 10 foot ladder and put it in the elevator diagonally. From far corner to far corner.
No safety harnesses?
4:24 nice to see they always hold whoever close to the elevator shaft to make sure they don’t fall down
Anyone else knkw the guy from first nscene as Jeremy from vampire diarys
Omg Jeremy from vampire diaries and dr chase from house?!
2:46 my dad says that the bad luck doesn't exist... I would call that bad luck 😅
Oh, they'd have to give me a BUCKET of Adivan to get me over that plank!
Casey captain and serveride will chicago fire both are. Brothers as and take away can heart

Bruh they couldn’t find an actual child?
Casey and severide. Are an ultimate duo
Can anyone really imagine that any fire department in the world would aprove a operation like this one? For real...
Out of curiousity what operation do you think would be more appropriate in a real life situation?

They could also just do it one by one with the rope system by pulling them up assuming that the other elevator shaft is ‘express’ aswell
I mean hinestly I would say just try to cut the cable or just simply do a similar thing to what they did just with more support for the bridge
Is that Dr chase from house md?
Yes
Yes
Love your videosss❤
Here ❤❤❤
oh my goodness it’s chase
The reason I'm afraid of them 😮😮😮
Why couldn't casey just go back and let the man walk with the rail? Always putting people at risk.
Does nobody own a rope?
Sabine Harter
the paramedic should have gone later her wasnt even able to hold the bar

Still wondering why they used a K12 on wood...and why they used a chainsaw sound on a K12...
Is that Jeremy from vampire diarys bruh i love Jeremy hes such a good actor i wanna be a vampire but its not real lol imagine if it wasa
Jermy Gilbert classic
WAIT- if the elevator was broke how did they get out through it?
A second elevator car. Iirc, they're kept isolated from eachother so if one breaks or suffers a fault, the others are unaffected.
Easy is a curse word.
in b4 they change the title the change they b4 in
Jeremy?
IS THAT DR CHASE?????????????NO WAY☝️👹
Ii is 💯
not cool man
So... The elevator could be lowered, could've just got it to an entrance 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
the cable that moves the lift up and down snapped
moving an elevator with a broken cable is potentially dangerous
