Thanks for the review. We just booked a Haven cruise for next spring. Confused about the inclusions. You mentioned bottled water but the NCL site lists it as part of the higher drink package option you can add (along with unlimited Starbucks and top shelf liquor). Im not big on top shelf stuff but the water is a big deal especially with two small children. Their packages confuse the crap out of me.
Thanks for your video, great information! My one question that I just can’t seem to find the answer to… are drinks included with the Haven or just if you have the additional drink package? You mentioned the minibar in your suite is included, is that only if you have the Free at Sea pkg? Just soda/water in room? Are the drinks at the Haven exclusive bar included?
I highly recommend the haven. We stayed in The Haven on the Encore and it was absolutely amazing. The best part of it was when the ship or port felt crowded and busy, it was a nice quiet sanctuary to go to and unwind. Plus the staff in the Haven is absolutely top notch. Highly highly recommend it
We're going on the NCLJade in May 2024. Nine day, Caribbean. We've been on many NCL cruises, and other than one we have been happy. First time on the a Penthouse Suite. We usually always book an Aft cabin...this just happens to be a large balcony penthouse. May is a big month for us. Both of our birthdays, Mothers day, and our 46th Anniversary.
Hi, great review! I was wondering, are there hidden charges/fees associated with this suite? I've seen a few reviews and you're actually the first one I've seen that mentions the free room service, free premium movies, etc. so I figured there were a lot of hidden costs, but could you say what services you had to pay for in The Haven?
Im in a similar boat. A bunch of my family is all going on the same cruise. Just a 4 day. They're all in balcony rooms but i booked us 4 in the haven. Cost was around $6k. I'm debating on switching it to 2 balcony rooms for around $4k total. Not only saving $2k but like you said you didn't want to take advantage of the haven stuff too much and ignore the rest of your group. I think it would be an amazing experience but I think for just a 4 day cruise with 2 port stops it would be hard to get your money worth out of it if the rest of the group isn't in the haven
We'll be in an Escape Haven Penthouse suite on Feb. 18 and we think it's worth it. We are only able to vacation a couple times a year for now, so we usually splurge. We used to do mini/jr. suites on Princess and Royal, but both prior times on NCl were in suites (Dawn/Jewel) and last 3 on Royal were full suites, HA was a Neptune and just 6 weeks ago a full suite on Princess. BUT, once hubby retires in 14 months, we'l be able to travel more often so will most likely go back to mini-suites or a jr. suite type of cabin as we will want to go on more cruises and longer ones at that. Thank you for the great info. Just found you here on TH-cam. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for the update on the Haven. We are on Escape in a couple of weeks in an Aft Penthouse. Had a forward penthouse on NCL Sun to Cuba 5 years ago but no Haven. Really looking forward to this Escape cruise and experiencing the Haven. We have done Suites on RCL Oasis Class ships and HAL Neptune Suites and have always enjoyed the extra level of service we have received and yes, it is worth the money to get spoiled a couple of weeks a year.
I just booked the Breakaway spa suite. I'm not too impressed by the actual room but I was afraid if I booked an aft suite the butler wouldn't be too attentive and it would be quite a walk.
Not a simple question at all. It’s like any cruise and cabin type. There are many cabin types and options and prices are wildly different per ship, cabin and sailing. It’s more conceptual based on amenities vs balcony etc. same with royal suites and MSc yacht club

Yeah. The changed it recently too. It is only in the higher package now

Drinks are not included. You have to have a drink package. Once you do it opens the rest up.

Love it. Agree on all counts

Hi. Thanks so much. Nothing hidden I can think of. The gratuities are higher but that’s about it. It’s a great experience e
@@ByteSizeCruises The gratuities are not given to the haven staff, you have to tip again for that staff to get any money. That I do not like!

It will be nice. I was in the afternoon penthouse suite and the butler was amazing
Absolutely it is worth the hype!
Thanks Eric. Agreed
We are headed out on our 4th Haven cruise this July, worth every penny!! I would rather sail less often & be in the Haven vs any other experience!!
Absolutely
Been on 2 myself..couldn't agree with you more!
How much is cost you??
All depends really. Dates. Itinerary. Etc. could be anywhere from 4k for 2 to 20 k
I mean, are all haven cabins suites?
Yes!!
The price is never disclosed. Simple question: How much?

Are you saying "sweet experience " or "suite experience"?
Suite. But both work!!
CAN YOU PLEASE!! Use the same level audio during the video, SPECIALLY during the intro
For you. Sure!
