Not a bad video of the ship, we are NCL platinum rewards members and have been on 13 NCL cruises. I agree with the comments below that O'Sheehans (the Local on newer ships) is a great venue. It's pub food, wings, dogs, burgers but they also offer a great alternative for breakfast. We appreciate you opinion but I have to strongly disagree "By far the worst restaurant on the entire boat" (it's a ship). Every time we embark on the a NCL ship we avoid the buffet and go straight to O'Sheehans. Keep up the good work.

Completely agree, I also cruise only with NCL , since my first cruise, and I think the O'Sheehans is great. It is a street food, not a fine dining. My favorite are salad with lettuce, parmesan and grilled chicken (Caesar salad); nachos, warm spinach dip and the brownie CHEESECAKE .

Overall we enjoyed the cruise for sure. For us when we are with the kids we enjoyed the larger ship but when it was just Em and I we like smaller ships.
We are going to be on the Norwegian Joy next year in November and we are looking at doing a 2nd cruise in 2026 on Carnival Celebration. We have shared you guys out on our community tab

Hoping to sail on the Escape in September, 2026. Is there an adults only quiet area where it’s not too crowded? Also, are there hand sanitizer dispensers located around the ship and what about hand washing stations at the buffet entrance? Thanks!
You will love the ship. There is adult only space, there is Spice H20 which is included in your fare and has a grotto some hot tubs and a bar. There is also a paid space which is the Vibe Beach club that is adults only. Where are you headed on your cruise?
False info regarding bringing snacks on board from the Port. We were on Escape two weeks ago ( Oct 2024 ) and whenever you return to the ship, bags are scanned and any food or drink, even water is prohibited and if found, confiscated.
You are not allowed to bring liquids back on board however we have always been able to bring chocolate bars, chips, other sealed snacks. You are not able to bring fruit etc. it is basically the same as airport rules.
That’s awesome we were also on the Jade recently (loved that ship so much) but on both boats we just found the food terrible compared to the rest of the ship, the wings were never cooked well, the burgers had no flavour the salad was wilted and the service always seemed to be people they were training. We hate to be that critical but we always dreaded having to go to Osheehans.
@@pepekaliwete we enjoyed the live bands that played in the atrium, there were several spanning many different genres, one specifically did Ed Sheeran covers which we loved. There was also a special band on the ship that we did a video on our channel that was absolutely fantastic.

Nothing beats having a nice relaxing drink while listening to great live music. I sure hope there'll be some on our cruise in December.
I’m very curious as to why you say O’Sheehans is the absolute worst and you felt that on several NCL ships? We’ve always found it very good and people there were great. We just got off an NCL cruise. My daughter spent most of her time there. We ate there a few times and everything was always great even in the past, you mentioning they should change something or do something based on what? Everybody I’ve ever spoken to on the ship has always loved this place sure, you’re gonna get a negative comment here and there regardless of anything but that’s a pretty bold statement to make so I’m very curious how is it on every single one you went to that it is no good?
@@franka4854 hey Frank, thanks for the comment, this has been a very polarizing opinion but we just have had no luck with O’Sheehans, maybe it was just the ships we were on or the timing but we just have had no luck at all, maybe it was the times we went as typically it was very late night visits. Glad you have had great experiences but we just didn’t have that on our trips. 🤷♂️
This is a ship firstly it’s not a boat those on the side if it sinks. We HAVE BEEN on 30 NCL and have never had a bad meal in O’Sheenans you choose for 23.5 hours open. This guy has does not what he is talking about, oh and every ones it’s a dinning room and not a hall.😂

Stop with BOAT! Cruise ship, not cruise boat!!! The official US Naval Education and Training Command guidelines state that you can carry a boat on a ship, but you can't carry a ship on a boat. Generally speaking, this means that if a craft is large enough to carry its own lifeboats or dinghies, it's considered a ship.

We were on the escape back in February and we were not impressed. You didn’t miss anything at the supper club either. We did have fun though

Yes it is. From what we read Escape is due to go in for some updates at the end of 2025 but we will see if that happens.
