Amazing video! I was the guy beside you for most of the show. I was the one with 2 cameras.
It was nice to meet you!
I was there on Saturday. Awesome! So loud and so crowded and so worth it. Very cool
It was a great show! I hear the weather was a bit of a bummer on Sunday so Saturday worked out. Even tho the forecast was great both days.
@@NickFliesMedia yeah it was hot tho glad we got an umbrella
Thanks for the video. I was there for this air show with my two daughters.
Glad you enjoyed it and I hope you all enjoyed the show!
Great video! I was there on Sunday. FYI that's an ACMI Pod mounted on the F-15C Eagle.
Thanks for the info!
Awesome video! Usually go to the Dayton Air Show but I went to the Columbus Air Show here in town. Thought that was enough to scratch my itch lol I regret not going to Dayton.
I am so glad I went to the Dayton show too. It was so much better than Columbus. What a line up this year
Would you happen to have a full uncut version of the F-22 Raptor demo from this airshow that I could watch?
I am uploading it now! It will have a few cuts mostly due to the tall guy to my left making it hard to pan that way.
Well-made video! Thanks for taking the time to share it with us. Excellent panning work with that Edge 540 too.
Thank you so much! I had a really tall guy to my left that made it a bit of challenge to pan but it seemed to work out okay. Cleveland will hopefully be better!
I remember when the Golden Knights would perform every September at our small county fair in the late 1960s/early 70s. Back then, they used a DC-3 & it was "big time" to see that aircraft land & takeoff from our local airport with it's 3,000 ft. runway. for their 3 day performance!
I bet that would be neat to see and a DC-3 would be a big aircraft for a fair! I do like that the Dash-8 is so much faster at getting to altitude than the old Fokker tho. One thing I noticed at this show tho is that they usually open the show and then do a full demo later but they only performed once and it was pretty short. Maybe the weather had something to do with it, or the late addition of the F-22 cut down on some time.
Too bad an F-4 couldn't come in to chase the Mig...
I think the only airworthy F-4 around is Collings, but after the 909 tragedy their flying has been on hold. I do miss the days when an F-86 would show up and chase around the Mig. Maybe someday.
