I grew up in Weirton during the 60s and was so fortunate to be part of that wonderful era. I moved away after college in the 70s but came back often to visit family. It was distressing to watch the decline. I sure hope this new growth can bring the town back to something like its glory days.
I'm from South Carolina and I've always prefered Midwestern areas like these to the South (especially that wretched Florida) and I want to live in Plymouth, Michigan but I'm too poor for that lol. Until I can afford to do so, Weirton is where I want to call home.

I love this town it's perfect in every way I wouldn't think of living any where else. it's beautiful and the residents are the best.
When I turn 62 in 2024 seriously considering moving here.
