    Still got mine, 238k miles, 40+mpg, runs like a Swiss watch. Best car I've ever owned.

    I'm still rocking my 2008 Fit Sport 5sp and loving it. Yes it's goody for a grown man with a family, but it's fun to toss around and extremely practical with it's cargo space.

    My family picked up a 2007 fit sport back in 2012. It had 37k miles on it when we got it and currently has 430k miles. It still has the original engine, trans, and clutch. Original alternator went out around 420k miles lol. The interior has held up really well with no rips or tears in the seats. Only a few sections of the interior are worn. We haven't had to replace much on it either. It has new shocks but still rides really good despite having over 400k miles on it. EPS is just now going out.

      Wow, 430k! Bought an 08 Auto about 2 years ago for 3k it was rebuilt. Seems to run better than when I got it! Had to replace the radiator a month ago kind of a pain. Now have 245k and I was hoping to get it to 300k now thinking 400!! Cheers!

      @@danielgriffith8911 Wow, I forgot I even commented on this lol! 212k miles now. Its been burning oil for a while now, but sure doesn't act like it, runs like it has 100k miles on it!

      @@coreyb.3127 yeah, I have to have a new clutch put in tomorrow, but i think its the original clutch, so i dont mind.
      I deliver food, so economy really pays off...I put 80K on it in the last year and a half.

    • @coreyb.3127
      @coreyb.3127 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@danielgriffith8911 I'm the second owner, and still original clutch. Probably 70%, if not more, of my miles are highway which is obviously good. I thought about doing food delivery, but I don't want to put that many city miles on my clutch. As far as the oil burning goes, its probably 1.50-2 quarts between oil changes. To me, that seems like a lot, but I've talked to a few Honda technicians that say that's not really that bad.

    Motorweeks 2007 best car of the year. And you're right mr Davis the front seats needed more thigh and back support. The only shortcoming my family finds in our cars.

  • @danielgriffith8911
    @danielgriffith8911 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    They always state the mpg for the automatic transmission models. I have a 2007 Sport manual and I honestly get 39 on the highway and 33-35 in the city, 35 at night when Im not sitting in traffic.

      @Covert Cam good for you , your car has all them mods and it is still shit slow... the CVT in sports mode is a very quick little car. you must have got yourself a lemon, anyway im done with this conversation . no need to reply as I will not be reading your comment. enjoy your lemon.

      Yeah I can get 10seconds 0-100kph and I'm just stepping on the gas I'm not launching it properly like they do in testing.
      It's basically identical to the pace of the manual ones.

    Garbage car. I had so many faulty problems from locks to radiator , broken axle, faulty electronic ignition , EPS computer not working at various times. Like your driving along and then suddenly you lose power in the steering going around a turn !!! Paint job was faded on different panels. I love my Civics by the way. Never a problem. I’m not bashing Honda! But they should take the Fit off the market to keep Hondas name respectable! The broken axle and EPS computer were covered by Honda eventually ! My locks were not covered. My key would not work in my door or trunk. There cheaply made !
