Just got Beat Saber today as my first paid for quest game as I wanted a game which did not need my PC all the time. This video is going to be a great help as after a hour of playing it I was a bit unsatisfied with the amount of songs and wanted more so this video helps a lot
ABSOLUTLE LEGEND I decided to buy Beat Saber a second time thanks to this video Already had it on Steam, but I wanted the wireless freedom/portability of the Quest version but wanted to take my 100+ already downloaded custom songs with me. And I was able to do it successfully and hassle free thanks to this very thorough video.
Great tutorial, very thorough as always! Thank you for keeping us up to date with all the quest modding shenanigans! The options you get for managing your playlists ingame with the new version are AMAZING! I still preferr something like Playlist Editor for ease of use and speed when it comes to managing a lot of big playlist quickly and efficiently. But, the new features are a game changer for when you just downloaded a song that popped into your head while playing. Makes it very easy to keep your playlists nice and tidy.

I had one issue which is where settings won’t save, it’s a minor bug and easily fixed, found that on their discord. Everything in this tutorial matched what I was doing so it was super super easy, thank you!!!
It's very easy on PC! But yeah, it's a bit of a hassle on Quest these days, but if you pay attention and don't mess things up down the line, you don't have to bother with it very often.
Thank you so much, bmbf and beatsaber altogether stopped working out of nowhere, and this was the most helpful video i found, and i was able to fix the problem completely. Plus, i now have some sick-ass custom sabers that i didnt know how to get before. You're a lifesaver because beatsaber is NOTHING without mods and custom songs, so this really helped. (Also your shirt is amazing)

worked great. Thanks for the tutorial. The only problem I ran into was. I didn't realize there was two different downloads for sidequest. I downloaded the easy first. And it does not give the page to transfer the APK. I downloaded the advanced. And it worked great. Just putting that out there. In case someone else does the same thing. Thanks again. honestly the best option is now get it on pc and connect over wifi because the sideloading doesnt work properly now since certain updates because you cannot give access to certain locations

13:14 btw this step it will work on the phone no need to use a computer to do i try it with my iphone it work + 13:30 u can go to the browser tab in put the link insider your quest and it will download it automatically through ur quest without the need to a phone or computer

It always says app not installed when I get to step three (install beatsaber) of installing bmbf. It stays on the step three page and no matter how many times I try it, it doesn’t install. I have tried uninstalling bmbf and beatsaber, but I can’t figure it out. Please help

Ever since I switched to the 1.24 version I haven’t been able to open the web browser to install extra mods, is there a way to fix this, or perhaps a different way to add more mods like chroma and noodle extensions?

I like to play online. So I bought a copy for the Rift, on the PC. I mod that copy. I play the multiplayer and official music on the Quest 2. It kind of sucks to pay for BS twice, but I find it easiest.
I did enjoy this when I did it, but with other people using my Quest I figured just stick with the Regular. I would probably go nuts if someone hit "Restore" after doing all this! Great video

One thing I've been able to do once I've connected my quest 2 to my pc once is sideload the official SideQuest VR application to my headset to get games that way.

It's nice to have an update on how to do this. But sad that one still has to jump through so many hoops just to get custom songs.
It's also frustrating that if you want to update Beat Saber again you have to get rid of the modification and custom songs you got and go back to regular Beat Saber. I know from experience in all the times I did a similar modification and it was frustrating when I wanted to update Beat Saber and I had to go backwards till I finally said never again, not worth it, sorry, when you want new free songs and other music packs and can't update, not worth it.
I still think beat saber should have an in game shop/ library ( kinda like the music store) where you can buy songs for like a few bucks

Yes did it in like 15 minutes along with downloading mods for it.

How did you get the custom sabers? and did you have version 1.25 or 1.26?
