What would you do for a million dollars? Rooster Teeth’s finest would do anything to get rich. Seriously. Anything. In each episode, a rotating cast of hosts challenge each other with their own hypothetical version of the question "You get a million dollars, but...". Participants have to determine if the deal would be worth it for them in exchange for a million dollars.

The "million dollars but" premise is old now, but the skits are as great as ever.
Explain how it is old? This is essentially like Truth Or Dare, you can constantly evolve the game and questions, never going out of style.
It's not even 3-years-old. How is it "old"? Of all the things Rooster Teeth does, you are going to say this premise is getting old, yet they have been doing other shows for over a decade. haha.
The premise is funny, so why not keep doing it? You even said yourself that the skits are great, so...

Let's be honest, the premise is old. They made it into a game, but this has been around since the birth of currency.

Umm... because it is funny as is. And they definitely weren't hypothetically making up goofy and unrealistic scenarios back in the day, and if you can provide any evidence of the such, I'll concede.
Also, actually spending millions of dollars on these things is a waste of resources. Why would anyone in their right mind spend a cold $1 million on a single TH-cam video?

That said, I would think that it would be influenced by what's near you. Randomly being near a rat would get you a Ratatta, while encountering one near an electrical box or something similar would net you Pikachu.

Well it was kind of a mix really. The game is SWTOR and the Character creator is also SWTOR, but the background pic is KOTOR

Million dollars, but the last video game you’ve played is the only video game you can play for the rest of your life. You can’t buy new games, all your currently bought games will vanish and you cannot cheat by playing your favourite game of all time and then accepting the deal, you have to say yes or no on the spot.
(I’ll be in the clear, because I’m playing Breath of the Wild, I can play that game for years and not get bored xD)
If asked after playing a mmo then the answer is yes. (It'll suck when the servers go down but at least it gets constantly updated with new stuff and running the old stuff with new players can be fun)

You can lose very valuable objects at random times. Would you want a hard drive containing all of your most valuable information suddenly come to life then short circuit from getting hit with water?

The first screen after popping in the disc was the KOTOR character creator, which doesn't even really have customization, just a bunch of pre-sets. It goes to SWTOR's later.

Out of curiosity, I booted up Skyrim to do the random character thing. Got an Argonian woman who kinda has a Darth Maul color scheme. So $3 million, can breathe underwater, carry a ton of stuff, and free Pokemon. Best day ever.

Okay. So hear me out. You have the inventory system, but it's like Skyrim where you have quest items that are just bags full of stuff to deliver to people, right, so what you do is you put a bag full of stuff that you plan to use later into your inventory and then when you open the other bag to use it your inventory doesn't catch it because it's all one item. You could also "craft" electronics into one item, if you just have them all connected together. Like your mouse, laptop, head phones, thumb drive, a DVD or something, your laptop charger, and your phone charger, all in one slot.
Character randomization, I'm sold in that one.

A million dollars but for the rest of your life for one day a week, you have to be the doomguy from doom 1 and 2 on ultra violence difficulty and kill demons. You get all the weapons from the doom 1 and 2, and on that day, there is a bunch of ammo, powerups, and health/armor item’s scattered around wherever you are.
