American here….I’m pretty sure we have lots of avocado toast here too. It’s even on restaurant menus which cracks me up. On the other hand, we never have beans on toast , which I think Brits love. 🤷🏼♀️
I live in France and avocado toasts are not that common normally, but because of social medias it became a trendy and aesthetic food, I guess you could find avocado toast in small trendy coffee shops or restaurants, but otherwise it is still quite rare. However, a more traditional way to eat avocado in France is to cut an avocado in half, remove the seed and to put vinaigrette in the hole with some salt and pepper and to eat it with a spoon!
Lovely video qs always! Love your attitude❤ coming from Germany: avo on toast is pretty common here, especially in vegan cafes. I just try to reduce my intake because of the environmental impact😢
I’ve never thought to toast up my seeds before adding them to my salads/avo toast (literally my dinner tonight haha) and that would be a game changer - thanks for the idea!
I’m Mexican so I (and I’m guessing other Mexicans and Central Americans lol) grew up eating avocado on everything. But my personal favorite is doing guac (traditional with just lemon and salt, but my dad would go to his garden and get chiles, cut them up and fry them. Boom, so delicious in guac!) and get a spicy olive mix. Now, for the mix, blend it and if there are chiles, blend that too! Use some of the brine if it’s not blending all the way. If you want it chunky, then blend a bit, otherwise blend it with more brine for a smooth tapenade. This is optional, but I highly recommend it, and it’s salsa macha. It’s super easy to make and versatile. It’s basically chile oil: grab some of your favorite dried chiles, minced garlic, peanuts, sesame seeds, and a bit of white vinegar. Toast the dry ingredients, then add them to a pan with oil. Neutral oil is best, but you can use peanut oil! Add the garlic and let it basically cook a bit. Next you can either blend or create a chunky salsa macha. Add some salt to taste and viola! The vinegar can also be added to give it a nice acidic taste. Get some toast, add guac, olive tapenade and drizzle with salsa macha. It’s absolute perfection 😍 hope you can try a variation of this!
avo+toast are my obsession🥑😋! I felt less guilty eating this the little time I lived in Perú, I'm an Argentinian radicate in Barcelona and I know it's tricky to get avos in here so I try to buy them when in season in Spain
Your attitude and relationship with food is such an inspiration for me 🩵 thank you for being you, and sharing yummy recipes!
🧡🧡 you are so kind! thank you!

Are avocados weirdly green where you live or do you eat them under-ripe? Never seen one be that green on the outside but be edible.
Avocado toast is Very common in California.
Oh I loved this ahhh
Those brownies look great.....I'm devastated that Flour of life bakery has closed down so I might have to make these 😢
What is the difference between rice cooker and just puting the rice in pot with water?
The difference for me is that I always mess up cooking rice over the stove 🤭
Where did you get your orange bowl from?
Myer! x
those BAGELS omg???
Why must you post this right before I go to bed?
From California
Avo toast is mostly just popular with vegans in America I think I'm also obsessed with bruschetta! !!
u Look great with dark hair it makes your eyes pop! !!
Thank you 🧡
Lol that's not true. It's popular with a lot of people who aren't vegan too. Lol
Obsessed with the little fine print comments throughout the video 😅.
🤭
🥰🤗
Opening a green unripe avocado? 🧐
It was definitely ripe! I think shepherd avos just look different
Warum keine deutschen Untertitel???? Schade.
love your video but the intro seeing all the meals already is such a spoiler😅
Did Australians invent avo on toast?
No idea!
No
rice bran oil in plastic bottle not so healthy water saute veg is best
your avocado literally looks fake, it's like it has some filter on it as if it was painted, it's so yellow in the middle 😂😂
Hahaha shepherd avos are funny like that sometimes 🤭
Ew kombucha 😢😮😢😢🤮
