I completely agree, and just like your name says pole dancing is a journey. And the friends you make along the way are the most beautiful and inspiring people you could ever befriend.
I have watched most if not all of Anete Blaua. By far the most helpful tutorials about pole dancing on the internet. Thank you Anete! Your pure inspiration.
Thank you so much Anete!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’ve only been practicing pole dance for a month from home and already I’m seeing massive improvements in technique - your tutorials are always so specific that I feel 100% safe as long as I know I’ve paid attention to avoid injuries
This is so helpful! I’m a beginner and also working with a physical therapist to heal a shoulder injury. This is so helpful to practice strengthening my muscles in the meantime while I recuperate 🥰🥰🥰
very informative video! I’ve had a pole for some time now so I’m not an absolute beginner, but I got it for a just for fun kinda thing and didn’t even know about different types of grips. I mostly freestyle and this helps a lot! Thank you!
Really enjoy your videos! I just started and have quite a bit of strength but its so important to understand the movements and how your body is working instead of imitating the end result. Thanks a lot!!!!
you explained everything so well, provided enough information so that the instructions were clear but not too much so that it was easy to understand. Thank you very much
You got yourself a new subscriber! I love your thorough explanation on these pole grips, as I rarely see videos where they explain you how to work on these properly.
Thanks for the wonderful tips! i've been mainly focusing on exotic and floorwork so this tutorial was just what I needed to get me moving on more pole tricks! Your explanations are very good!!!
This was extremely helpful! I wish my instructor clarified this! I’ve been doing floor work until my pole arrives. My arm muscles will tend to get sore the day after. Should I take a rest day when this happens?
There is no pole studio in my country so I befriended strippers to have access to their nightclub and start learning pole dancing . I started last week. But I have to teach myself so I will learn from this video first . 🙂
All the videos are great and so clear! Thank you very much! Aldo, Do you have any tips/recommendations on how to structure a home weekly training in order to train homogeneusly all relevant aspects ? I am a beginner level and also recently bought a home pole. Many Thanks :-)
For a beginner I suggest to do strenghtening exercises, deep muscle especially and stretching 3 times a week would be great. Just make sure you recover, it means your workouts should be challenging but not too hard core, you should feel okey all the through all the workouts. Adding 3 times a week pole workouts, which one of them could be conditioning, grips, climb, spins. The second could be beginner tricks and the third could be combined, combinationg spins, tricks and grip conditioning👌
If you are having 6 workouts per week they can be 40 minute to one hour. Make sure your recover, and after you can understand what your body needs more and is it capable at all to do so much pole. If not ofcourse you switch a pole workout to a different one. Or if your body doesnt recover you take a rest day.
Thank you - all of your tutorials are amazing! I have a couple questions about grip conditioning. 1. are you pushing up on your toes to get the upward movement or are you literally letting your grips do all the work? I don't hardly get any vertical movement unless I push up on my toes. 2. Can you easily explain how it feels to pull with your shoulder muscles vs your bicep? I'm not positive I'm doing it right. Thanks again!
Easier variation is helping with the toes to understand the movement and engagement. So its a good place to start grip conditioniong to work on technique and gain strength.
You need to strenghten your forearms and wrists as well, try to work with expander (not sure if its called like that😄) something to squeeze with wrists that can help as well.
thank you so much for your video!!! Nothing to deal with it but am I the only one who struggle with a leg grip? I cannot find the proper video to condition my body for it ... everybody says squeeze your leg as much as you can for the gemini for exemple but I'm still sliding down even being in the "good" position...
As far as I understand this, mostly its because you need muscle strength to hold with legs, muslce tone. So I would suggest just making your legs stronger in general. Think about which muscle groups work when you grip the pole with your legs and find similat exercises on thr gloor for that. But I am putting this in my videos to do list🥰💜
So if I practice for 40 min a day on all of these how many weeks or months will it take. I have no upper body strength but really want to master it. Please help and thank you so much for this video. I used to be a dancer but couldn't do the pole properly. It's important to me that I can. I just got my own pole, ready to do what it takes.
Its difficult to say how long will it take, but if you do this regularly, try to engage whats needed with the proper technique, you will progress. Never settle for the easiest exercises, if something is easy, find a harder variation for it.
@@AneteBlaua thanks. I had it out in the garage but I'm going to put it in my room so I can follow along with the grips, spins etc....I am doing jillian michaels killer arms and back. I have all the dvds so I do 1 a day. Just started back working out a month ago and I can feel difference in my plank can do 4 push ups lol etc....time and consistently is what I have gathered. I am a mom of 2 also with a career so it's not like back in the day when I can focus on a few things and get results quicker. All in time though I guess. Thanks for reply and video I will look for more
The first grip is kind of nightmare for me... How do you manage when your hands are often sooo weat ?? Thanks for your videos, the funny thing is that I can make lot of advanced tricks but some basic ones still a mystery... So I'd like to strengthen my style.
Once your physical get ls better you start to sweat less, cause getting used to the load and getting stronger means, less effort in the future, more confodent so less sweating. 😊

Under lockdown, now’s the perfect time to focus on my pole. This will be great for my daily practice! Thanks.
Perfect!
This is so useful! Love that you encourage beginners to build up to these things instead of throwing themselves into it right away.
I completely agree, and just like your name says pole dancing is a journey. And the friends you make along the way are the most beautiful and inspiring people you could ever befriend.
“Don’t rush these things”. I love it. Awesome conditioning tutorial. Very detailed.
Thank you.
I did the push and pull engagement every time I walked past my pole for several months and now I have it down. This was an effective video!

Really enjoy your videos! I just started and have quite a bit of strength but its so important to understand the movements and how your body is working instead of imitating the end result. Thanks a lot!!!!

If you are very sore rest day would be needed yes. But its mostly on how recovered you feel overall
thanks so much for your video!!!

Number 2 question: about which grip you’re asking?
helpful thanks!
Wish you were my instructor!!!😭
Hey, thank you💜 I do workshops as well so if your studio wants to invite me I am happy to travel and teach🙏
I have no grip no strength so what should I do just work on grip and do my morning workout planks etc please help me I’m working on my diet too

Okay. But what if your arms don't go strait? It's impossible for my arms to go strait at the elbow. (No pain. No injuries.)
