This was an interesting battle..... The Spartans needed to keep to a time ,as any delay would make increasing harder to overcome the next layer of defenders (with the archers 🏹 and catapults constantly Raining arrows and stone balls onto them). Loved the camera 🎥 sweeping looks at the battle too.
Spartans used heavy bronze weapons and armor, deploying in massed formations. Medieval nights used light steel weapons and armor, deploying in cooperative units and employing not just heavy cavalry and archers, but also long range weapons. There's no reason in hell any Spartan army would beat any medieval army. LOL
It seems odd to put so many soldiers outside the walls of the castle. Wouldn’t that be a huge waste of human capital? The walls are there to protect them.
after the first line of Spearmen was broken, the battle became boring. the melee troopers should attack too. at least the Golden Knights in the castle should, there's no purpose for holding position.

Входы в виде огромных арок, ничем не защищённых. Так в Средневековье замки не строили. Входы были невысокими и неширокими, чтобы только всадники могли проехать и карета. Ворота крепкие, железом окованные. А после них обычно шёл узкий проезд, сковывавший действия врага и позволявший защитникам сдерживать нападающих. Рассмешили "автоматические" катапульты (использовавшиеся в Древней Греции в начале-середине V века до нашей эры) , обороняющие средневековый замок. Пушки в Средневековье, видать, ещё не изобрели.😂

I'm not sure why, you find the need to not make the battles balanced? If you have a faction defending, why not give them a fighting chance? Putting hordes of Roman's against a weaker opponent trying to defend will always have the same result.
I prefer sieges. They're more interesting. This is one of the better ones. Thanks.
