If possibile This game mod should hold a statistics called "discipline" to include this huge important factor, especially for a Roman legionary it was a must. Discipline should give a bonus that allow to resist more on breaking and running away, and also give a bonus that recover the position in the formation, Roman soldiers were so disciplined they would recreate the formation during the battle as men were dying and had to fill the gap between men, anyway I can't wait to the mods of bannerlord! Like the sengoku period, crusade ecc. And this one is also a must

The gladius was a stabbing sword, you dont swing it over your shoulder and flail around with it like that. Shield always in front of the body, also in the romans attack animations and a defence bonus because of it, posible or not?
Dicipline is basicly morale, or like order. The mire caotic ut gets more likly Tools are to run. So dicipline in Effekt is more of the Drill of Holding the line and follow Orders no matter what

Well the vanilla game is more based on the middle ages and times long after the Romans were gone. Armors were better and generally heavier. Either way, Eagle Rising is going to eventually replace every faction. 3 have already been replaced with historical factions.

To add realism they should add horns for signaling like if you aren't like if you commanding and you haven't issued a command too consecutively, the horn would sound to communicate the instruction to the whole army.
it happens when you join someone's army.. I mean if you're in Western Empire and Garios' army.. horn sounds heard when he says "Attack" or "fall back" etc.. But when you create your own army and call the lords.. I've never heard of horn sound when I order to attack..
Abit annoying that as soon as your units engage their formation completely falls apart. Especially the Romans, their whole fighting ethos was on tight efficient formations
Great video! Though the cavalry was not used in the final stages of the battle, the archers were re-positioned to late, the roman charge was heavily affected as soon as they broke to re-charge, and by the Gods if they used Rome 1's Music, the mod would be more than perfect!
This is fckn awesome!! As soon as the ui and user movements/abilities are improved, this will be one of the best games of the past decade, especially in this genre. It's already amazing! "Great job" - to the developers .

Looks awesome but has a serious problem. Romans fought in formation. They didn't break it in battle. They pushed the enemy and stubbed him at the same time. It would be perfect if it had this feauture
I thought Bannerlord is really well simulated (for a game), but horses riding through rubber lines of rubber people, Attacks ordered through the own line ... brrr, that gives me second thought. I hope that will change by launch.

i think the morale actually system work as well for this propose, because romans armors have high defense it make them work as good disciplined troop

Look up "realistic battle mod". The ai module part of that mod is compatible with Eagle Rising.
