Been watching this dude since he was like 9 years old. I met him in 2007 at a contest in calabasis and thought he was so good. He hasn’t stopped progressing since.
This and his back 360 off the LA car wash are 2 of the heaviest tricks to go down in Skateboard history. Milder isn’t a scrub, he’s pretty underrated imo.
This is honestly such a good experience, and expression of skateboarding, and the feelings you get from it as an individual and as a group. It's such a beautiful thing. It's crazy how we can surprise ourselves by learning to go to that place inside our minds where we keep pushing even tho, we've been trying.. I credit it to altering my ability on how i perceived Life and how to approach/apply/ or handle certain situations in Life. Skateboarding is so much more than skateboarding.

Man watching midler go from this small little shredder to an absolute madman is so sick. From his camp Woodward days to now he's grown (physically and mentally) so much and this was so cool to watch
My Wars encapsulate what skateboarding stands for. Absolute perseverance. And the crowd stuck with him for so long, waiting for it to stick. Wish I was there.

That shit had me almost in tears with how beautiful he executed it, legit nothing or anyone will ever top that trick on that spot imo. it's just too steezy and perfect.
A lot of wars are mental. Some wars you have to go back to a spot a dozen times and find your moment. This felt like both of those all in one afternoon.
