There's no such thing as a biblical, compulsory (required) tithe received from earned monetary income. And while the economy may have been primarily agrarian based, there's ample evidence money existed and wages were earned during those times. There were merchants, tradesmen, tent makers, clothes makers, fishermen and builders. There's no biblical evidence any were required to tithe from earned wages.
