Great video. There is a few differences between the 1947-48 and 49 models. The 1947 model had an unpainted silver smoke stack and no simulated front coupler. The 47 and 48 models came with a 2466wx tender. The 48 and 49 model had a black painted stack and a simulated coupler pilot. The 1949 version came with the 6466wx tender. The difference in tenders is the coil coupler on the the 2466wx and the new magnetic coupler on the 6466wx. This is one of my favorite engines. My dad received a 2135ws set which I ran as I grew up. So it brings back many happy memories. Thanks for your great video.

Thanks for the video. I have a 1948 675 that I received for Christmas (second hand :) in 1961. To my knowledge, there are no independent model train stores remaining in North Carolina and I am looking for help in doing my own maintenance.

Do you ever do customers work on loco's

Generally I just do my own “barn finds” or look for the PW locos on eBay that “don’t work”. I am also a part of a local club and will do light maintenance and tune ups for members. Thank you for question.
