Hi, can you share your thoughts on the front sprocket? I saw in another video that there is piece holding the gear sensor that cover the sprocket itself. Sadly, in that video the poor chain maintenance broke that piece. That spooks me. I don't remember see such a metal piece to hold the sensor in that dangerous position in other bikes. Have you experience anything wrong with it?
@@859Videos great to hear that. I'm having my eyes on this clx700 bcuz it just got to my country recently 👀 Let's hope that the bike lives up to its name (and longevity too). Look forward to seeing your vid on the bike again
I mounted the same air filter as yours, screwing the cover on, the filter will lock in place and will not make any movement. I look forward to hearing your first impressions of the new control unit👍 P.s. can you post the video you have on our CLX customized group?
The air filter in any IC vehicle must have a stationary air filter, at least to my experience I have never seen anything else. If it moves, that denotes that there is unfiltered air moving around the filter, going into the intake manifold unfiltered, which is very bad for driving on any roads other than a track. I am excited to see your gains on that bike, I am looking at a '23 CLX700 Sport in a month or so to take advantage of the current .99% financing they are advertising. And don't be afraid of riding in cold weather! I am in Arkansas and with my 3 layer Sedici jacket, 3 clothing layers, winter gloves, and normal riding jeans, 32 degree weather is no worry! I won't ride below that temp though, I am not crazy enough to brave ice.
Thank you for your feedback! I am curious to see if I have any questionable things with the air filter. The gains should be good, and I plan to ride it tomorrow or the next day.
@@switcherlp780 the air filter is snug, it doesnt have any air gaps between it and the exterior inlet, the inlet seals it. The filter spins as if it were a wood roller, but it cant be cocked sidewise and thrown into the intake box
Hey I had some questions since I have the same bike and just did cat delete and exhuast and no one in oregon works on these bikes. Where did u get a dyno tune for exuast or whatever u did for tune for exhuast and who do I contact for work done?
MSC out of Mississippi, give me a mention when you call their way! I'll have a video up within a couple days about the tune. It just got 60 here in KY! Safe travels! - RS
dude I see your video, remember to lube the filter, there are a lot of lubricant to air filters over there, It will help prolong its useful life.cheers
Bro, I am planning to get a DNA airfilter as well without the ECU remap. Thing is on the last 2 service intervals they had no stock for airfilter and they did not change it, they just cleaned it with air and after a close inspection filter seemed pretty clean ( 10 k miles on it ) . How did the filter worked out for you ? Does the bike behave different ? Cheers !
Really cool seeing someone modding this bike, I own the same model and it's so hard to find someone wrenching it
Its a very fun bike to work with, but lots of tight spaces 🤣
Thanks for the vid man! Looking forward to the ECU reaction 💪🏼
Tomorrow it is 60 so 3 days after install I will get to experience it and let you all know if it was worth the money
Found u on the street in Nicolasville td and saw u had a tag nice bike it sounds so good in person
Thank you so much! Sorry if I missed you, I can't hear anything with the exhaust and my music lol
959. 41 to go. Shot over from FLD.

Hell yeah, D's a great guy!

@@859Videos You are welcome, I enjoy your videos! Were you able to ensure the air filter was snug after bolting the intake housing back up?

@@859Videos I would not use it, perhaps you need to call/chat with DNA as there may be a mounting piece missing from the package?

Filter works out well with the ECU remap from MSC.
@@859Videos thanks for your reply, I will ask them if they do International shipping, all the best 🤜🏻🤛🏻
@@DJp2Roti DNA does, mine came from Greece. The shipping tape had Greek lettering on it
MSC might, they are in Mississippi
Nice
Very nice
nice! what was the outcome? better performance? 😮
Dyno day in June...I'll have a video on that this week or next. Trying to work around another video coming out Friday
@@859Videos very cool, i look forward to it :)
what's up friend! How many miles does your clx have?
9k miles
Hi, will messing with the ECU void the warranty ?
Not to my knowledge, at least in the USA its a gray area.
I’ll wait another year before I do any modifications. Thanks
