I used to check this VHS out from the library a lot as a kid! That music during the Scorpion intro driving through the mud has been stuck in my brain for 20+ years

@@Challenger2MBT No idea sadly, most of those old 80s-90s military VHS series had synth/guitar done by a guy, with no leads as to song titles or copies of the original tracks. Same with Great Planes which later were recut/serialized into the Wings series.

Yes it is correct . Still COLD WAR and east & west germany was around to 1990 ( and this is made 1988 ) :)
I got Sig hand guns that say Made in West Germany... Younger kids seem puzzled by the markings...They never known a world of East and West Germany..

57:25 you can see on my channel my night shoot as TOGS gunner on a later mark chieftain in 1988. TOGS was relatively new at the time, and our vehicle was part of a demo for VIP’s showing us hitting hard targets in the pitch black night.

Great tank to be absolutely sure ! Its not on this list though because this was a list of NATO systems. If it were just the best tanks of the time youd definitely see it in the line up
