And earlier, all I saw were taunts against helpful leadership in 285 work. ha ha... it's still going to take a long time to do the ultimate fixes.

I still wonder where the gar and catfish might have gone.

@bitfenix90 They inspected the northbound lane of the bridge and determined it was safe. They deverted the traffic to it and made it two lane to get across, so at least the traffic is flowing.
The southbound lane will take some time to replace broken parts.

@@MusicandDroneflights-tz2xy "Catfish and gar in Pecos" was standard operating proceduring the '50s, '60s and '70s. Family there - for some reason - stopped fishing much in 1980 onward. They were all 'trained' by their dads and moms and, when their own kids got old enough ('70s, onward), the kids didn't share the enthusiasm and so the moms and dads stopped, too. Gone were giant block-party fish fries (often at the Presby church, but also up and down on 2nd and 3rd, or Morgan in Hagerman. Or the baseball fields when church-league softball was popular. All gone now. sniffle sniffle. I DO hope the gar and catfish are doing well, though.
