    Rampage just for perspective. You didn't lose 11k (or whatever the amount was) because you ran KKs in to AAs. That is inevitably going to happen to all of us. You lost that much because of the punt with QTo. If you learn from your mistakes on that hand maybe this session you lose 2-4k instead of 11k, that's a huge difference and one that adds up a lot over time. Enjoy the content keep up the hard work, much respect.

    I’m sure you know this already and you definitely don’t need any internet commentary from the likes of me but you are not a good enough player to be playing such a high stakes game yet. At those stakes,generally speaking there are not many bad players, conversely in smaller stakes games usually half the table are what you would consider “bad players”…. I know you are always wanting to test your skills against good players but unless you can afford to lose 5 figures per session, you should probably “stay in your lane” and play smaller games like 2-5 and I would not play anything bigger than 5-10 if I were you. That being said, I think you have some gigantic balls playing such big games so for that I tip my hat to you my friend…✌️✌️✌️

  • @user-hq3ks2qe5o
    @user-hq3ks2qe5o 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Think the q10 hand was a check on the river because live players call big turn bets with either huge hands or huge draws and do not turn missed draws into bluffs often enough. I mean his turn calling range doesn't consist of j10 k10 which you could try either get value or make best hand fold . What do you think ?

    This guy plays like one of my poker buddies. I always sit behind him. Around half of all my winnings come directly from that guy. Keep betting when I have strong cards and he keeps calling.

    The tightest player on the table raises big pre flop, you 3 bet and he shoves.. definitely aces .. I usually don’t give those type of players action

  • @davethompson3140
    @davethompson3140 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Ethan, you know when a tight ass player puts out an 11k bet he has to have “the nuts”. Those types only all-in when they have it so even with K’s you got to eat it. It’s with the 11k if you remember this as a rule!- TIGHT ASS players only all-in with the NUTS. With them it’s not regular poker reasoning, it’s knowing they have or almost have it won. They make their living on other players who forget this….otherwise they usually lose by the blinds.

    When you bet for thin value on the river, generally a pot size bet doesn't qualify, and when you get jammed on, with a board that seems to favour your range, and you are polarized, calling off there with Q10 is just a punt.

    i don't think it is a good strategy to have a massive deep stack like 5x bigger than your opponents at the table,because you will play more loose,and you will not play your best game. it is a huge mistake,if you want to have a bigger stack on the table just make it 2x. watch yourself,man..protect ya neck

    i saw no flaws in the game, the kk v rockets is just a cooler and variance not much you can do there. Wondering though what that player image was and could you of gotten away from it? had he 3-4 bet jam before that you've seen? just wondering because if he does it with AK ?

    • @williamweaver1642
      @williamweaver1642 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With stack size I would do it with AK, he only had 10k. If they both 50k deep I think hand would play differently....just my 2c

    Hand with QT - "I'm not sure what I get value from from betting this river..." BINGO! That's exactly what you should be thinking in this case. What hands are you getting value from when betting? You already have enough showdown value to beat any missed draws and any bet you make would make them fold anyway. Instead you bet and lose an extra $7.5K lol. Entertaining punt vids, I guess, as always.
