I was very happy to see you ride out bad cards for 2-3 hours without trying to make something out of nothing. Sometimes I've had to do that for 8 or 10 hours, though that is rare. So $10,000 + $23,902 = $33,902. At the end he says that he only ended with $24,070
I got to be honest I am super shocked the AQo called the 5.5k at the end. He doesn't beat anything betting for value at that point. He loses to all boats, (A4, A10, AJ) he loses to all flushes and straights, and he loses to AK. What's he thinking there, that you're value betting A2? A3?, A6 - A9? Are you really bluffing with a 5.5k into an 11k pot? You even said you had basically been sitting there watching poker for 3 hours outside of a few hands, so it wasn't like you were going straight spewy or anything. Assuming this guy pays attention at the table you were clearly playing tight. I mean let's say you raised the turn on the draw for sake of argument, what draw DOESN'T get there on the river with the Jack of Diamond? All diamond flushes get there, AJ gets there, QK gets there. If his opponent had A9 or below, should not aggressive like this unless bluff.
