- Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a big redesign and the first look render shows it has rounded corners. However, the Galaxy S25 Ultra still retains the iconic Galaxy Note design. Samsung will also bring a new GPU feature on the Galaxy S25 Ultra that will enhance the gaming experience. Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra in January.
Hoping Samsung brings bigger batteries on the ultra

I think samsung is more focused on optimization of the software so they can use the same size batteries and charge faster without having to add high wattage charging and degrade the battery.

The sharp corners on the Ultra series use to stand out with that boxier design and gave it a big television screen look, but i guess samsung is just going the Iphone way killing what it was known for once.
Let's leave sharp corners for htc.

After putting a case, the slight round edges are almost negligeable
The small shrink of bezels doesn't matter in day to day life.
The series was exciting when they combined s and note into 1. But now, it's just a repeat just like an ai generator. You generate 4 images at a time that differs by small details.
Samsung would better do more than just slim bezels for S25 Ultra. Looking at this S24 Ultra, still the best phone.

I'm on the Z fold train right now zfold 6 is absolutely gorgeous, but if I had to pick the ultra series. I would pick the S24 Ultra, hands down the best in the series thus far.
The 24 oak tray still looks bigger and whiter. Then the twenty five, and that's the only thing you will see Rolling corners and nothing else is new about it
I’m returning to Samsung from Apple, and I’m actually excited for the redesign and additional features PLUS the cameras, which apple is lacking in. Can’t wait for the S25 release.
It's looks like Samsung correct their past mistakes now.

Those sharp edges are reminiscent of a notebook. That's why the Note series, and Ultras stand out from the crowd.
I just hope it doesn't get rounder every year, like the Pixel.
If anyone wants a phone with rounded edges, you are more than welcome to pick up the Plus variant or any rounded phone from any other brand.
Or they should split and give s series with rounded corners and note series with sharp corners

I'm glad that Samsung choose this design, not because I am still rocking my Note 20 Ultra and planning to buy the S25 ultra, and they will share the same designs. But mostly, because my Note 20 ultra is starting to feel the 4 - 5 years of use problems are arising one after the other.

I hope Samsung will make a smaller version of the Ultra variant without compromising any of it's spec. A lot of people including myself likes smaller phone but since we want the top specs, we're forced to get the ultra variant which is MASSIVE

The rounded corners on the I phone, in my opinion, look horrible , so I'm glad they didn't go that way . Hopefully, they keep the flat display too

For the twenty five ultra, that should keep the pointy corners.Make the down phone Thinner more wider scream And remove the s, pen, so the phone can be more thinner.Add better camera in the back And a final touch waterproof phone 📱
I'm happy Samsung CEO has put mobile team on its place for their unnovations. I hope we'll see some actual improvement like it has always been before S10 series

I m S24 Ultra owner, and so far looks like im gonna stay with it for another year, each year the upgrades are smaller and smaller.

I think samsung will move front camera to corner right or left. That's why the have remove curve screen because corner camera is not posible with curve screen.

What else can you do besides right angles and curves? Other than change the curve radius. It's not their fault. The most you can do is change the design on the back and they're definitely different in that area.

I love these two features on Samsung that make it unique, the boxy design and curved screen. If Samsung Galaxy s25 Ultra miss one of these, then i won't buy it. Am really waiting for it
Slim bezels are silly. They're fine where they are. For gestures that really require the edge of the screen, the smaller the bezels the more difficult it is to trigger those gestures when a case is on the phone.

I wish Samsung would bring back MST on the phones.
It is said that credit cards will be removing it in the next couple of years, which is why it is rumoured that they removed it. As soon as they removed it I went to using Google pay because Samsung pay is not accepted in enough places.
@mjjones1045 I just bought a S24 ultra last week but still haven't committed to it yet from my Note 20U because I can tap to pay at places when they say it doesn't work with samsung pay. I try not to carry a wallet in fear of losing it unless I travel. I like that Samsung wallet. Let's you put in a driver license now.

I am interested in finding a small form factor for the Ultra phone, similar in size to the Pixel 9 Pro or iPhone 15 Pro. I prefer to have all the top features in a smaller form factor. I hope that Samsung will introduce such a form factor with the 25 series.

Nah, the cameras will still be round. Those square camera designs were made by a fan. They weren't real leaks.

I've been wanting the corners to get more sharp since the Note 7 days. I thought it was ok with the Note 10 but S24U is perfect. I get it is more comfortable with rounded corners but the boxy design looks better and is distinct to the Note/Ultra lines. Looks like I'll have to pick up a used S24U just to have peak boxy design.

Note 20 Ultra is the best looking Galaxy Note ever. Boxy design, 6.9inch display and a curved display. Also Mobile coloured S Pen was there in it.
Already saving money for this phone. Time to upgrade my Huawei mate 10.
