beautiful! in english, we would call this style a “loft” apartment because of the large open space where you can see from the second floor down to the first. when you can’t see from the second floor to the first, you usually hear it referred to as a two-story/two-floor :)
Thank you ☺️. I’ve since learned that in the UK they also call it a duplex. It’s funny, because a loft apartment is completely different in French 😆
this is incorrect- a “loft” is a layout with a bedroom that is open to the rest of the living space below. this build is a duplex- the bedrooms are private to the rest of the house, and even sectioned off by hallways. the open space on the second floor does not change the residential type.
@@kikoibuildsThis isn’t a loft. It is a duplex. I actually live in a loft and when you go up my stairs my bedroom is right there with no privacy or door. Kind of like a balcony for my bedroom
@@Miss_tay002 It might just be a regional thing as opposed to a misunderstanding of what a loft is. Because a duplex, where I live in in the US, is two separate houses built from one structure, typically sharing one wall. "Loft" where I am is a second story room that's just on a platform OR similar to a studio apartment that has a really open space and is not on the ground floor. It's relatively interchangeable. If it's the bedroom it's a "loft bedroom". It is possible for a country as huge as the US to have different terms for the same thing. Like how "buggy" is used in some places instead of "cart". One is not more or less correct as it's a regional difference.

This apartment is so gorgeous and was surprisingly easy to put into my save file. I have quite a bit of experience, placing rooms into apartments though, and I think a bit more detail on each room and where it goes would be really helpful for the beginners! Nice job though, really a beauty. 💛💛👏🏻👏🏻🌼🌼
That’s a good suggestion! The next I have to put multiple separate rooms on the gallery instead of a big room encompassing the whole apartment, I’ll do that . 💜

Amazing build! Just a little tip, when uploading to the gallery you can delete the doors to create one big room instead of uploading each room individually ❤ I’m downloading it right now, I absolutely love this build
Yeah that’s what I usually do, but because of the platforms, I didn’t really want to do that. I hope you were able to place every room and that you’re having fun playing in it! ☺️

A duplex is a same appartement but on two floors connected by a staircase 😉
@@SoMDaronne a duplex can also be on one floor. No staircase included. It’s a two separate residential units within one structure of the household.

No you don’t need city living to download the save file. Only the worlds for which you have the packs will appear in your game.

@@kikoibuilds I done mess that whole apartment up lol. I'm not a builder, it's easy for me to just place the whole thing. I left out of build mode. If you could see the end result; you wouldn't even recognize it lol smh.

What is the game's name?????
The game is called Sims 4, but what you see is not the base game, they are expansions, and it has used many different expansions. sorry I do not speak English
The game is free on Steam, the expansions are paid, and very expensive for the content they add. but the base game can be played well. If you want to try it, you can also build very nice houses
