This bike has more power than any single cylinder Enfield, some of which cost more and are left wanting on the highways, and almost has the same torque as a classic, much more than a Gixxer 250, while being 50 kgs lighter! Additionally, this WILL PROBABLY OUTLIVE YOU, being a Honda. And considering everything in addition to the bike, the after sales, the service experience, the customer care, for the price you're not only getting a bike but a ticket to THE BEST service centres in India, the big wing. Considering all that I think it's a good product, let's not suffer from sheep mentality of dissing everything Honda comes up with.
2.7 on road should i go with this or cb300r for daily commute, budget is not constraint but is it worth to pay 85k more for cb300r as its onroad in mumbai is 294 ? Please advise
The bike looked quite small during the launch (bad camera angle), but here it looks slightly bigger. In one of the initial walkaround videos, the person switched on the headlight and they looked warm white (more in 4300-5000k) color range, not sure if it was the lightning on the stage that gave that feel. Also Honda singles mostly sound mute (except for the 350s), a little deeper exhaust would have been nice. Is this a bored/stroked out engine from the Hornet 2.0? Curious to know how it stack up against the 250s, especially the D250, the price difference is like 3-5k(i think) and it offers a more potent engine (atleast on paper). What USP does Cb300F offer aside from 'Honda reliability'?
D250 means dominar? I think this will be much better because of the power to weight ratio, Dominar is way too heavy for a 250cc motorcycle, this is definitely a better package, on paper dominar may have a better specs sheet but out in the road, this should be a better bike.
Hope Honda will not discontinue CB300R

That’s about it, the reliability, the refinement, service costs etc.
