Great video. I'm thinking to use such battery to power corded devices through invertor. It seems battery has control circuit. I need to check how to get 56 v out of it.
Since I haven't found part 4 yet, could you tell me what size cells are in this pack? They certainly look unusual. Great teardown, BTW. Meticulous and step by step.
I have taken quite a few of these apart. They are 18650 cells. EGO adds some kind of weird thermal sleeve around the center of each cell, then another shrink wrap on top of that, causing that unusual center bulge. I've gotten so many good Samsung 25R 18650 cells from recycled EGO battery packs.
