Lemokey L1 - First Impressions and Sound Test
มุมมอง 342หลายเดือนก่อน
I found a Lemony L1 on clearance at Micro Center so we're going to unbox it and check it out. Kinda bummed it's not a Hall Effect board considering it's 'gaming' focused but nonetheless its design and build quality are premium!
Neo80 Raw - Build and Sound Test with MV Expo and HMX Lotus
มุมมอง 197หลายเดือนก่อน
This raw colorway is incredible - nothing but shiny aluminum and precise CNC! We build the Neo80 with HMX Lotus switches, carbon fiber plate, brass pillar sandwich mount, and topped off with MV Expo keycaps from Max Voltar and Omnitype. The board turned out awesome and the loud clacks sound is perfect to our ears. Thanks for stopping by! Neo80: www.qwertykeys.com/products/neo80?variant=45513164...

Today we are building one of our favorite boards, the Mode Sonnet (2022) in green with a walnut accent and a silver mirror bottom. We decided to go full-Mode and added Obscura switches, Obscura keycaps, along with a POM plate. The build was very fun and everything felt precise as we assembled the whole kit, and we're overall very impressed with this offering from Mode!

LED for ebikes - Adding LED lights to the Ariel Rider X-Class
มุมมอง 1.5K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I wanted to give the X-Class a cool glow at night since I tend to get a lot of night rides in during the week. So I found some LED lights that are powered by USB at my local Micro Center in the home lighting section, and they turned out great. In this video I show you the parts you need and how to mount them along with a battery to power them for about 8-10 hours. Monster LED Strip w/WiFi : amz...
Ariel Rider X-Class 52v Initial Review & First Mods
มุมมอง 1.3K2 ปีที่แล้ว
After much research, we landed on an Ariel Rider X-Class as our fist ebike. This video is a quick overview of the bike and the first modifications we've done. The bike exceeded our expectations and has been incredibly fun to ride and work with. The torque/power and range are exactly what we were looking for to eat up the hilly terrain and trails by our house. The ride is comfortable, the build ...

Thank you. This is great stuff.
first keyboard that's actually worth the 300€ price tag imo
Yes I feel it's worth every penny - I've been using it a few weeks now and it's so good, the screen is awesome with the 'targeting' animation while you type and I love the matrix screen spelling out the letters. No problems at all and it sounds so good, it's going to be hard to rotate this one out!
@krislovescalifornia how much of an upgrade would you consider it over the evo80?
That's a beautiful keyboard. I can't decide between normal qk80ii, neo75 cu or this
i think if u like the screen, you def go for the qk
One reason you might go the regular MKII route would be to customize the sound - the Limited comes with full foam, FR4 plate, HMX Azure switches, and plate-mounted stabilizers giving it a very low/marbly sound signature. You could always purchase an extra plate/new switches/etc. if you wanted to change it and still keep the purple/green color way. I'm doing the Neo75cu after Xmas so stay tunes that one should be awesome too!
$214.00 think not
Can you make video supported hdd how to replace or upgrade to usb c or faster speed?
Will the battery pack be ok in rain 😅 i often cycle in the dark and rain!!
Hoo boy that sounds super WOW
Alphas sound amazing. Did you notice any resonance?
Hey thanks - I didn't notice at the time but honestly I've got a better ear for things now (this was in January) that I'll have to pull it back down and listen again - I have a second Sonnet (v2) that I top mounted too but it has a different lattice/force break mount system that essentially cancels any case resonance so perhaps that was a common perception of the older Sonnet
@@krislovescalifornia Yeah my Sonnet OG is force broken and I have to loosen the top mount screws.
I got one too it’s great! Love your build
Right on - what switch/keycap combo are you rocking on it these days?
@@krislovescaliforniagmk striker looks so good with it
Keep it up man that keyboard sound so well.
Footage is way to dark in color grinding 😞 and thats for a light Review Test video , sad but info is great, thxxx and ceya 🍀
Thanks for the comment - I appreciate your insight and you're totally right, not sure why I color graded this so dark but it could definitely be better!!
PERFECT!!! thank you!
Great video. I'm thinking to use such battery to power corded devices through invertor. It seems battery has control circuit. I need to check how to get 56 v out of it.
This is shitty video, no audio sync everything mirror flipped. This dude didn’t go to school
Thanks!
Amazing. Thanks
Thank you, I managed to save the drive. Cheers!
I have one just like this but its a 750gb. I drooped it and now it just beeps. I dont want to lose all my stuff on it, especially my old photos. If i get the hard drive out of the casing how do i check it to see if i can get my data off of it?
Thanks for the video! It was very helpful.
Thanks for posting this video. I have the same kind of drive, including the capacity, and have been wondering how to take the case apart for a while because I need to drill some ventilation holes in it. The SMART data shows that it has been failing due to the high temperatures, likely due to the lack of ventilation. For example, it is currently 71 degrees F in this room and the drive is running at 127 degrees! This is why I don't like any sealed cheap plastic cases. ...or maybe I'll just leave the drive out of the awful case and just use the computer's hot swap bay as needed.😂
Thanks for this video!
A video that still keeps giving. I have had mine for so long and it stop powering up like 15 years ago. I just recently cleaned out my storage unit and found it, now I am working on taking it a part so i can get to the data. Thanks for this great video.
Your numbers were too stylized and too small.
Very, very, very gooddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd Thank for posting.
I have the exact model. It is spinning and powering on , howver is not recognized by my old windows laptop as well as my windows 10 desctop. Was wondering if you have any suggestions to help
Your best bet is probably to extract the drive from the enclosure, and then put it in an external USB enclosure and see if that works - something like this: www.amazon.com/Sabrent-External-Lay-Flat-Docking-EC-DFLT/dp/B00LS5NFQ2/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=external+hard+drive+enclosure&qid=1696018571&sr=8-3
with the HDD removed,,, if I was to purchased a External Hard Drive Enclosure Case to insert the HDD into so I can plug into my laptop,, is there a particular one or any doesn't matter?
Looks like yours is already open mine broke when l tried to open it it's crap
thanks a lot
How is this battery 56V??? Even if you assume each cell is 3.7V then 14 cells connected give you 51.8V
Interesting. I found this video because I just found my old FreeAgent (IIRC) 320gb unit, and part of me was thinking about making it a bit more usable by seeing if the enclosures control board would recognise one of the stack of spare 1tb SATA 7200rpm drives I've got kicking about here. But then right at the end you mentioned some obvious detail that hadn't registered in my head....... USB 2 ! I'm thinking that if the swap even worked, it would be painfully slow by todays standards. Where the bottleneck with a USB 3 external HDD is theoretically the SATA3 hard drive (USB3 = 625MB/s max, where SATA3 = 600MB/s max), the bottleneck on a USB 2 drive is without question going to be the USB 2's pathetic 60MBps max transfer rate, so for the sake of using this things enclosure, it's going to limit the HDD to about a tenth of it's maximum speed......... Hmm...... I think I'll just get a couple of USB 3 enclosures, or maybe just a better SATA dock? :)
Can i use every vr headset for handy ? Do you have a recommendation?
Oh yeah…thanks for video
1 question…… How can you be a hardcore Dodger fan and have a SF 49ers football banner in the background. Do you realize how much those people up there hate LA.? It is sad but …jealousy? Idk why they are so hateful but they just are.
hay kris do u no what power adapter it has i cant find mines
I dislike when someone says Super Easy when the have already opened the case
I just found your channel. Which drive would you recommend for years of MANY digital photos I need to organize and archive, if I can even download them from a drawer filled with SSDs and USB. Unfortunately, I can't afford a NAS or a 5gb cloud plan. I will get a cloud, but I need a long lasting HHD as well.
Really great and useful instructions ....thank you my friend !!
Thank you for making this. I have one of these I wanted to harvest the drive out of but I was afraid I would ruin it trying to take it apart.
I had my retropie working fine until it started giving me issue where I launch any game, it shows me a few console messages and comes back to game selection page. Help!
If you're mostly riding on roads, a good mod is to upgrade the tires to some nice road tires. I went with the EHuntsman by VeeTires, but there are other options.
Just what I needed. Thank you very much. My model only supports up to 800GB replacement disk. Great Work, I appreciate your detailed video.
Torx t15 bits with pin in center
Hey Chris :) hop u have a great week. The bike seems like a decent bike for a first one :) my friends I've rode with they both have a ariel rider like yours there's is blue and red. They not it for commuting and he upgraded his battery. :) I'm a female owner sur-ron x and like I said I rode with atiel riders and it's an okay bike for them And seems like you love it :) Like I love my sur-ron Great video :)
Very nice setup, I’m at the beginning of the journey to choose the right bike for myself. Started seeing the reviews of the x class and so far sees very impressive.. Love your setup and plans for future mods. Thanks again for the video!!
mine doesnt power on nd i have fmily pics inside can someone help me
Love my X-class.They should come with a horn instead of that bell.I just rolled past 500 miles. The bike is a blast!
I totally agree - the bell is so weak for city driving, but I do like it for when I'm on the local bike trails because it's better for walkers and dogs I pass by. I've been looking at kits that include signals, horn, and alarm. Might have to try one out. In the meantime, I've been riding this thing like crazy, you're right it's mega-fun!
Success! However, I need guidance to find a place to put the drive and access its contents.
Glad to hear of your success getting it free! You'll want to look for a 3.5inch external hard drive enclosure, which will connect to a PC with usb and let you access the files. If you have a tower PC, you should be able to connect it into a spare hard drive bay and go from there!
Great review and awesome bike! Just got my X-class last week, loving it so far.
Thank you, and I agree, the X-Class really turned out to be worth the hype. Looking forward to seeing your adventures with it too!
This is very informative and sick Ariel set up !! Keep it up !
Yoooo! Thanks for the comment - I gotta start out as EVKris before I can make it to Kris Styles lol I appreciate it man!!
Thanyou so much this is an amazing work.
