No one is talking about Spencer Steer. He's playing at an MVP level so far.

Very exciting player. The major thing for him will be consistent plate discipline. So much ceiling when I watch this guy play

@millywok and also just 22 with a half season worth of time in Triple A as well !!! The talent alone makes him good enough to learn better pitch selection and recognition 👏 HE'LL be better in the long run because of it !!

It seems like his plate discipline is a lot better this year, I've always said why would anybody throw him a fastball, he's learning how to hit the off speed and staying away from garbage curve balls. It seems like his eye is getting better.

It’s really similar to the stuff acuna does. Love seeing both these guys play at the same time. They can take a routine ground ball, run it out, steal two bases, and cruise home on a dinger rbi within about 2 min of game time. Not to mention they go yard.

Nothing more fun to stand in the crowd that’s chanting go go go. And cheering when they take off. He does. But he is 22 years old and has plenty of time to refine himself. Reminds me of Aaron Judge(because of how tall and large their strike zone is) and how Judge had a big strikeout issue early in his career. As he learns how the pitchers work against him and how each Ump is gonna call the zone on a guy 6'5 or taller he will hopefully find some consistency. Judge has done a tremendous job of adjusting as a giant in the box, the blueprint is there for Elly.
