The problem with Swappie around 2019-2020 is that they used a very bad 3rd party battery in the phone I bought. Just a couple of days after arrival the battery health started going down, we're talking down to 10% over a short amount of time, also crashing a lot and changing battery health. During all this the battery started expanding and bending the original screen. Expanding as in extremely bad for your life. It looked like a tennis ball in the end. We took it to a certified repair place where I live and they basically said that Swappie had no clue what they did. And that the battery was very cheap and known to fail. We got a new good battery and the problems stopped, the phone is still good. A lot of people have had similar experiences with Swappie cause it seems they still use non original batteries. I'm not saying all their phones are bad, but people have to be cautious around companies that cheap out on batteries. I avoided using the Swappie warranty cause several people experienced Swappie claiming that phones were water damaged, or any other issues voiding the warranty completely. And I'm talking hundreds of people getting told their phones were water damaged. Strange how so many verified buyers all had water damaged phones, even more now. I know Swappie sounds like a dream for your wallet, but it's not worth getting a phone that has such huge risks to life.

Read bad reviews on Trust Pilot, those are a guarantee to be a real experience. Trust Pilot has a reputation for having fake positive reviews.

I think that if you’ve considered all the characteristics of the phone and 13 is the one you want, then by all means. Although I would suggest you consider the price difference between excellent and very good or good and if it’s material, then get the very good condition one, if there is any difference it’ll purely be esthetically. And if when you receive it, it doesn’t convince you, you can always ship it back and order the excellent condition one.
I chose Very Good But I got another one for my sister in a fair condition (an Xr) and it was free of scars perfect in all senses. Anyway, if you choose a condition and you don’t like it, you can send it back (for free) and change it to another condition.

Hello! I’m sorry to hear that. You may need to contact them via email. Did you choose the refund or fix option? Maybe they refunded you. They do not sell broken phones, they sell refurbished phones which may have had a problem and were fixed or just someone wanted to upgrade so they sold their phone to swappie. I do not work for them nor do I get paid for saying anything good or bad about them so I cannot reply on their behalf but just be patient because you’re doing something good for the environment and your wallet!!

Hey! I would recommend very good. Because fair condition is subjective: fairness is different from one person to another whereas very good it’s a hard to negotiate condition. It will most certainly meet your expectations. If you order like new condition it will literally be new. Mine is a very good condition and I can attest that it has one tiny scratch in one of the corners that is hardly visible and that’s all.
I just bought an iphone 11 red for 469, i picked the best condition i hope its a good phone because the battery condition can be more than 80% so i hope im going to be lucky with the battery

From an economic perspective, it's definitely worth it. If you choose the "as new" option it may cost more or less the same as new but if you choose "very good" or "satisfactory" you'd get it cheaper than new and the quality price ratio is worth it. From a sustainable optic, even when you get "as new" from swappue for almost the same price as the new one, it's still worth it. It avoids that more iphones are produces and more greenhouse gases are emitted to the atmospher and avoids residues and waste.
Normally, the iphones that swappie purchases from us (regular people) tend to be in great state already. If they need refurbishment, they use other iphones (not destined to be sold) to replace the parts. The point is all the parts are real apple parts. They don’t use copies or cheap parts.
