I wouldn't mind revisiting this series again, wonder if TPTV will get it, as the US are throwing a lot of their material at Noel just recently it seems?
Well they showed Big Valley 3 or so years back but only two seasons. Thunderbirds ended after one season and Stingray has now ended. Best to buy the DVDs if you can.
An ambitious series for its time--hour and a half episodes with an ensemble cast. The book by Owen Wister is still a good read, although the series didn't follow it exactly.
I like this more than Ennio Morricone's theme for the final season. I was so annoyed when BBC2 repeated the series some years ago and the Revue logo plastered over with a Universal logo...
Yes that was that awful album that was electronically processed for Stereo, I wondered if he ever recorded a full version on one of his million various releases out there?@@Scatscar1985
When television was worth watching.
Marvellous, terrific!!! I must remember I still have two eps of season 1 to watch online to complete the first season.
I'm sure I have this LP.

If I think of anything along the way, as and when, I will mention it. You may have already uploaded Ironside. Rings a bell.
Not many seem to comment - Vic, Tony, Steve S and maybe a couple of others?

Did Ennio record his version? Not sure he did, must look into this. Yes this is superb from Wilson.
@@bondbrookebond TVT licenced it from Universal for one of their "TV's Greatest Hits" albums when they brought the series back in the 1990s.
