One thing is to wonder, why can’t the builder be questioned by the same contract for delay in delivery and if they have unilaterally put the clause to safeguard themselves then that can be challenged in the court of law.
Even if prices do recover in 4-5 years after you buying your principle residence just think about the amount of interest you will have paid in that many years .

How come contract was binding on fake pre approval letters given to builders by realtors, mortgage reps. Does the agreement not become null and void since no legit document was taken by builders as their reps and realtors and mortgage reps involved in fraud? Buyers were not QUALIFIED they were sold pre con on fake pre approval letters by realtors, mortgage reps, and builders sales reps as well. Everyone is involved here. Sir one more thing mortgage reps at banks who are somehow getting it done are not SMART. they are fraud and responnsibile for all this mess.
