  • In this video I'm going to give you my two cents on whether you should get the XT-4 or just buy a used XT-3 in 2022.
Is the XT-3 still good enough???

I am a professional photographer shooting portraits for 20 years and my XT3 and 56mm 1.2 is all I need. I also gave a 35mm 1.4 and I use the X100V as a backup camera. It’s all I need! I don’t do video, so the XT3 is perfect for me. It’s my second one!

So glad I found your channel. Love the slight bit of humour, straight to the point no nonsense discussion between the X-T3 and the X-T4.
Three months ago I picked up a used X-T1 as my “fun” side camera as I was wondering what this “special Fuji color vibe” is that I hear from others.
I used to or should say, still do shoot Canon (EOS R) but I found myself the last month or so specifically shooting my Fuji as my main camera. It’s to the point where I’m not actually thinking of selling my Canon gear as I love the build quality of the Fuji, it’s weather sealing as well as how portable it is as I can carry a full bag of glass on my hikes and it still be lighter and less cumbersome then my Canon setup.
My big issue now is do I pick up an X-T3 or just wait it out for the X-T5? The X-H2s doesn’t interest me at all as most reviews say it’s more of a video/hybrid camera and I couldn’t care less for video, but I’m looking for something of an upgrade of my 8 year old 16mp -T1.
    What do you think?

I’ve been actually thinking about an xh2 or 2s for run and gun work but would hold on to my xt4 as my backup.
      I have my xt4 with a 50f1 and my xt-3 with a 23 1.4 as my setup right now and it’s amazing.
When I want to shoot for fun it’s my xt3 every day. It’s still amazing.
I won’t trade it in or sell it. There still a nostalgic feeling when I hold it and the images are just as good as the xt4.
      I’m very curious about the xh2’s 40megapixel x-trans 5 sensor though:)

Thanks, that pretty much sums up my decision making a few weeks ago. I decided to get the XT-3 and an X-Pro3 - same batteries, no fiddly fully articulating vlogging-screen, but sadly no IBIS. Can't have it all.

Oh man, that’s awesome!!! I really want an X-Pro-3! I have an XE3 and it’s a great little camera….but man..that Pro is amazing! Enjoy!:)

Hi Jason, thanks for this video! I currently have an XT4 for professional work - portraits and events/wedding photography and I’ve been saving up for a second body. Would you recommend me getting an XT3 to work alongside the 4? Im thinking it’s cheaper so I can get a battery grip with the extra money left over…

Hey there! Actually I’ve been using my Xt-4 with a 50f1 and my xt-3 with a new 23 f 1.4 and the combo is amazing. Having 2 xt4’s would be too big. It’s a perfect small setup. The xt3 renders the same amazing quality. Also I use them both with no grip for the whole day and I never replace the battery. Just bring extra batteries in case and you have a tiny setup to work with:)

If photography based, would you still choose XT3 than XH2? I'm coming from XT20 that just broke

Hi for videography or film which is good xt3 or xs10 this are my only budget range hope you can guide me

The XT-3 allows you better resolution at 10 bit 4,2,2 internally, where the xs 10 needs an external recorder because it does only 8bot internally. That being said, the xs 10 looks amazing and has a flip screen. It’s what I use for my videos, is easy to use and has a flip out screen. Xt-3 you’ll need a monitor. I would still pick the cat-3 because I’m a photographer first. But the images will be the same. User experience from the xt-3 is beautiful:)

Thanks for the video. Really interesting. The x-t3 is so cheap here right now that I'm having a hard time not buying it immediately.
I really am leaning towards the x-t 30ii. Mostly because I have tiny hands and wrists, and it's the first one I feel I can actually hold and not drop, but still giving me the photo quality I want to achieve. My poor Nikon....

I have the XT-3 and XS-10. Love Fuji. I'll probably sell my Nikon stuff.

Would you recommend the XT-3 or the XS-10?

    • @DavidTschoepe

@@delanobanano6110 The XS-10 has the same sensor as the XT-4 and it has IBIS. The XT-3 is bigger and I have a grip so it's nice to hold. The XS-10 is smaller and easier to take with me. I do like all the dials on the XT-3 though. The XS-10 relies more on menus for some settings. I really do like those old school dials, to be honest.

🙄 if you are videographer IBIS is not enough. Use gimbal. And….at the end of your video….swithc to GFX from APSC ….it’s not about the number of pixels and DOF. Clarity is the key word
