Been there for over 40 years, never ever disappoints in live shows..I should know, seen enough I've them! Legend, god, spokesman for a generation, need I go on !!!???
my favorite weller track of all time.reminds me of chilling with my ex.Good times good memories tied to this track.we use to listen to wild wood at least once a week smoke a joint & chill.ha
This was one of my favorite line ups that played with Paul. Met these guys on a few occasions coming to see the sound checks in the afternoon when the band played consecutive nights in California and we got to know each other on a name to name basis. They eventually all signed my bullseye keychain pouch that I had at the time and it always brings back good memories whenever I come across it.
yea Mr Weller at his best song triggers a lot of memories for me 2 going thru a divorce missing my daughter and my X kinda sumed it up 4 me anyways great song.........
I'm the prick who blurted Paul Weller in a club somewhere in London back in early 80s when he was standing right behind me, embarrassing but what the fuck he's one of greats
I just youtubed a Weller clip and it came up with stuff from the album As Is Now, namely The pebble and the boy and All on a misty morning. Classics and brilliant tracks.
The songs, the band , the gigs around this time were nothing short of magical .. what a great period of Paul’s career.. ❤✊🏽🙌🏽
That is the beauty of Paul Weller, you don't hear a song for years and then all of a sudden you are playing it 5 times a day for a month!!
Welcome to muy club, lol
Five times a day? Amateur. I think I listened to "Shout To The Top" about twenty times yesterday.
Exactly!
as I'm doing right now - simply because a mate shared a live track on Facebook!
Being homeless all I’ve got is my phone
And welled keeps me going
Absolute best of Weller in this song. Genius.
