You will never ‘get’ how cool this dude was/is. Just rewatched ‘Johnny, Come Home.’ FYC style, sound, edginess - carrying that cool 50s swing look - but totally individual. He was such a charismatic front man.

@@MobinKiadeh that dark pigmentation around his eyes isn't bags. That's a medical condition
Definitely aged (obviously as we all do) but that voice is still in tiptop form

Too me, She drives me crazy and Good thing are the songs I remember in the 80s the most. Roland's voice and the unique music videos put these songs in a person's long term memory.
I was 5 when She Drives Me Crazy was big in America and just as fast as that song plays was how quick I felt the Fine Young Cannibals came and went. The limited amount of songs we have from the group are a treasure. Amazing band, legendary singer.

Can’t believe I missed this. He sounds just the same as the 80s. Such a fantastic voice and impossible to hear and not want to dance. Fine Young Cannibals’ music featured in a movie called ‘Tin Men’ with Danny DeVito and Richard Dreyfuss. Brilliant!
His appearance, primarily the dark circles under his eyes or concerning. Praying he's okay. Always have and always will love roland Gift.❤

Dark circles under the eyes usually indicates strain on the filtration organs specifically liver and kidneys… No surprise everyone lives in a contaminated world at this stage we all have dark circles
But not all of us have his spunk or that amazing voice ...
