30 years on still bloody brilliant...FYC were so distinct and have always loved them fun MOD music....great to see RG his voice sounds great...and Jools can still tickle the ivories....
Saw him perform a set in North London a couple years ago. He was brilliant. Good to see my mate Bryan on backing vocals, doing an awesome job as usual, and Jools plays incredibly.
A US Billboard Hot 100 No. 1. Great song. The Fine Young Cannibals should of had more success after 1989. Roland still has a great voice, and Jools can still kill it on the piano solo for this track.
Roland has still got the magnificent voice he did in the 1980s as the lead singer of the legendary Fine Young Cannibals. Jools Holland also played piano on the original recording of Good Thing. Roland has gotten better with age and experience.

What a voice. So many singers don't sound anything like as good live as they do on record but Roland Gift sure does.
