I fell for the hair supplement marketing years ago when I started watching youtube. I bought hairfinity and biotin pills. I'm glad I have evolved to a point where I realized those supplements are actually useless and a waste of money. I just eat healthy :)
Eating healthy is #1! I think our society is so dependent on vitamins because a lot of us are malnourished due to heavy intake of calorie-dense foods that are not nutritious (I am guilty of this as well). in case A lot of us forget that hair supplements are just processed and packaged nutrients that we should be receiving from food. Thanks for commenting and watching!
Another excellent video!! I wasn’t too big on biotin supplements for fear they would break me out but I am a bit intrigued about The Mane Choice Supplements now after watching this video🧐 thank you for sharing!!
Thank you so much for watching! A subscriber just left a comment that Mane Choice gave her acne, just wanted to alert you to it. I wonder if very expensive brands like nutrafol avoid acne-causing agents? or maybe they just all cause acne? who knows? *shrugs shoulders*. Thank you for commenting!
Hi. I never took a hair vitamin. I just prefer to use the oils..pills don't sit well with my stomach for some reason..very interesting video Sis..thank you much for sharing God-bless you 🙏🏽 ✨️💕
I see a lot of women benefit from regular store-bought brands as well! So, explore and see what works for you and your budget! This video was mostly about how black-owned businesses inspired many mainstream brands today. These new brands went on to become multimillion-dollar companies because they were inspired by these ideas. Thanks for commenting and watching!
I remember wanting Hairfinity as an adult teen but could not afford it. A friend of mine swore by it and always had a bottle. Her hair was always shiny and just above armpit. She did have more than normal acne. In March or April of this year I grabbed 2 months bottles of mane Choice. Didnt notice much but that was expected. The chin acne came and I was closed that journey with the last bottle. Got back of hair cut short in back, bob in October. End of November my stylist mentioned that my hair grew the bob out. It didn't hit me until watching this video that maybe these were residual effects of the pills. 🤔🤔🤔
It could possibly be it, also exercising and eating healthy helps a lot as well. I wonder if all of these vitamins cause acne? I have heard this about almost every hair vitamin on the market. Did it leave scarring? Thank you for commenting and watching as well!
I never believed the hype of pills for hair growth. Taking care of your hair, causes hair growth.
The FDA isn’t the most reputable agency, but remember that vitamins aren’t regulated by them!!!
