Well.. we didnt expect this one! You guys know how much we travel. Whether it's Tim and I heading to the track, or Tiana and I camping.. we needed something BIG. I wanted a rig that could tow the race cars, but that could also overland and be spacious enough for us to go camping in... we found it! Also, Tiana gets a car! Here's the walkaround of all of our new purchases!

1) Delete and tune right away.
2) Bag the rear asap(If not already done)
3) ABSOLUTELY DO NOT get rid of the toyo's for crappy bridgestones. there's a reason offroad rigs dont run them. stay away from sponsors for 2 sec here.
4) Look into the bed racks and look into Redarc systems. they build out entire set ups for camping.
5) enjoy it. nothing beats a diesel.

FOR SURE #1 delete and tune it!! the truck will run healthier and be more fun to drive

As someone who has been off-roading for over a decade, never underestimate sand lol. Especially with a big, heavy truck, it will probably be easier to get stuck with that than it was in your jeep. Love you man!
Go Fast Camper top is what you need, or if you have the extra money can get the AT Overland toppers which are similar but a step up in build quality for longer camping trips, either of them allow you to leave the bed alone or build it out however you'd like. I personally like the GFC better only because it allows side access to the bed but with a truck that tall it won't matter. Traditional roof top tents are bulky and add too much wind resistance when not in use and take wayyyy longer to setup camp.

Way to go with all the new buys and all your hard work to get to where you're at. With your truck you should get air bags for the rear end for towing.

I get what you said about wanting the basics that just work, but honestly for tow rigs and big trucks. Some of the kitted out trucks with all the driver aid/tow aid options it really makes long drives so much more bearable, and a lot easier. But hey if that’s all you need, and you’re obviously very proud of your new truck. Just should’ve at least checked out and test drove one of the trucks that’s kitted with all the options and tech.

Switch out for the multi-flex tailgate. Trust me. It is so convenient when getting things in and out of the bed. You'll never go back! Had it on my Sierra and was a game-changer.

Congratulations on yet another vehicle. a full size spare is a must for the truck. Toyos are great Bridgestone don't make anything worth having for pickups in North America. Camper slide in (scout) or bolt on camper like GFC, At overland, alucab. Winch, lighting and thats about it.
Hey! I got those same wheels on my 2012 Silverado 1500. Just a normal Crew Cab with 5.3 V8 and 4x4 but thing is very nice for it being a base WT trim. Over 236k miles now and still running.
Let’s go Dut!!! I’d describe my taste in cars are the exact same as yours (reasons why I love this channel) but I had a Silverado awhile back and loved it! There’s just a complete diff vibe with a nice truck. And the x6 is so fire I’m jealous T😂. Enjoy guys keep up the good content🤝🏽
Hell yea brother !!!!! Truck looks sick! I would keep it stock. Just add some lights and if you fifth wheel add better rear suspension. If you raise it too high the geometry on the towing might be off.

hell yeah man, I've got the 2500 diesel as well and it has not disappointed as a workhorse. it's definitely not a gentle cruiser, you have a different suspension but without a trailer/load the stock truck rides pretty rough. keep an eye out for electrical issues, i've had a couple but they were easily resolved at the dealer.
I could type forever but a MUST have on a diesel is a lift pump. Air dog or fass fuel makes good ones.

You’re definitely gonna want to get some 37s for off-road purposes, as far as performance I’d do an intake, tune, and delete. And suspension wise I would personally do a leveling kit and put some helper bags in the rear

First of all, Congrats Dustin and Tiana on the new cars! They're both amazing! As for truck mods, I saw that Volk Racing does truck sized TE-37's so yeah. And I was thinking some sort of wrap? That front looks very Transformer-ish to me and my mind went to Autobot logo. But Maybe something closer to Legends Media would work better! Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you'll do to the truck and all the adventures she will take you on! Congrats man!

Get a GFC or Superlite topper. Build in tent that is accessible from the inside while maintaining a usable bed.

You should look into Super Tramp Campers for the Silverado. Incredible camper setup. Also great for mobile editing and shooting. My buddy has one and we use it for mobile film work all the time.

Go through Kibbetech in Orange County for a coilover conversion for the front end and his recommendation for the rear 🤙🏻
Dustin I would suggest going to the Overland Expo in Arizona. There are tons of manufacturers there and you can get a good idea as to what direction to build your rig. 🤙🏼

You should get light bars and light pods for the exterior and rock lights. Never go wrong with too many lights. Winches would be a plus both front and rear or front and on the trailer

you picked the perfect truck, it will tow 10x better than that tundra you had, and it will be more reliable. Diesel engines, with that Allison transmission is a beautiful combo.

Honestly the white truck is fine. The wheels suit it. Maybe some colour matching of the bumpers and mirrors in white..
I would look into an RSI Smartcap. They’re built super nice and have an option to get a fold out kitchenette which is awesome for camping!

Definitely dont change those tires that it came with to Bridgestones! Bridgestone doesn't make a single reputable off-road tire. For the overland setup, you'll be hard pressed for one that you can tow a 5th wheel with. You could pick up a Four Wheel Camper that comes off with camper jacks when you want to use a gooseneck. If you put in a bed rack and tent, you have to remove everything to tow. Personally I'd say check out a GFC camper for your uses. GFC (Go Fast Campers) does the social media sponsorship stuff so maybe they'll give you a free unit. You'll be able to stand up in your bed which would be a huge help since you're tall! Game changer from bed racks and roof top tents. The suspension it came with is good enough. Don't put Renewable Diesel in the truck, only put in Diesel #2 or HPP from Fuel Up stations! Some Baja Designs XL80's as ditch lights would be rad too. Best of luck dude! The overland scene is big in sponsorships - not saying handouts should be free, but with the audience you have, it's a no-brainer companies would want to partner.
