Yup it does my 1994 integra world grind on high rpms & I was shocked the GM synchromesh fixed the issue I’m actually running my 2018 with the same fluid I don’t get the 2nd grind on high rpm
@@6thGearGarage thanks for replying. Looks like I'll start by removing the front driver wheel to find the fill plug bolt. I wish they had dipsticks so checking the fluid level & filling is just a hell lot easier( without the auto trans headaches).
Yes they are, GC with Koni Yellows. I’m really happy with this setup. I had F&F type 2 coilovers on it and they went bad after 6 months. Going on 5 years with the Koni/GC with no issues 👍
@@6thGearGarage awesome! That's exactly what I was going to ask. I had looked at the f&f type 2s myself. I know ground control has been around for a long time. Thank you for the feedback.
I have a 6 speed tsx and recently got a chatter/clanking noise coming from my tranny area. It’s loud on deacceleration but no gears grins or anything.. any idea?
michael aviles can you feel the shifter going into any gears? If not, it may be a linkage issue. Any unusual noises? Did it slowly get worse or just all of a sudden not move at all? If it slowly got worse over time then the clutch is probably done.
I've heard of people using the gm syncromesh MT oil. It's suppose to prevent the gears from grinding

It was a pleasure learning from this 👍🏼
Nice clear video thanks, I'm gonna do my euro accord 2.4 type S tomorrow.
Finds out its not the same the next day lol
Thanks mate. I couldn't find the fill plug. Subscribed 👍
Awesome stuff!!! You should do all the fluids. I'm a noob
Next up on the TSX is fixing some rust before it gets too bad. I'm in Ohio so cars rust faster here than they do in the south or west.
incredible video. great work
Thank you for a great video.
Thanks man
Nice video. I have a accord sedan manual. Is this the same procedure & location of the fill bolt hole?
I do not know for sure but I think it will be similar.

Guys, it's a 5/8 O.D
I got an 09 mt tsx is it the same?
Edit: this works on 2009-2014 acuras too with 6 speed manual
I think it is
@@6thGearGarage it was the same :) thanks
Cool I’m bout to do mine !
Is that tube you used to fill the oil 5/8?
I'm not exactly sure, as I don't have the car any more :(
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Are those ground control coilovers?

Question does the manual transmission take a filter??
I am not aware of a filter for the manual transmission
good job.
My second gear pops out sometimes could the fluid be the cause
I don't think so. Do you ever do any hard shifting?
How many quarts did you add ?
Synchro's
My 5th gear is slipping into neutral could this be the issue?
Not sure but it’s worth a try
Did you feel any difference?
Not at all. There was no problem shifting before, I just changed the fluid as routing maintenance.
Could I just pour the atf fluid from the dipstick opening? I have a 07 TSX
Alexis Lopez yeah that's a good way to do it. 👍
How do u check the fluid level? I recently got one and the previous owner told me it leaks transmission fluid
angel munoz the only way to check a manual is make sure the fluid level is up to the fill hole.
Open that 17mm hole if you see fluid running out your good.
Thank's

How many miles are on your car?
How often should change transmission oil in manual
forever 1 i believe it is 120k miles
I got a question my tsx don’t move on any gears what can be the problem
michael aviles can you feel the shifter going into any gears? If not, it may be a linkage issue. Any unusual noises? Did it slowly get worse or just all of a sudden not move at all? If it slowly got worse over time then the clutch is probably done.
I can feel the gears go into place but I see the gear cable don’t move move normal I was thinking it can be the gear cable
At first I was doing a pull then when I went to second, second gear went in further then it’s place, Now it don’t move
Probably blew the transmission
just had this problem with mine; randomly gave out on me. make sure the master cylinder has fluid and isn’t leaking like mine 😅
What size tube is that (Inner and Outer Diameter)?
I think it was about 7/8" O.D. maybe 11/16 I.D.
How many qrts do i need
2.1 qts.
Would it hurt to do this at 65k miles?
Not at all!
nice))
Idk who puts their car on 4 jackstands to change trans fluid
Haha just me? Explained at 1:14 👍
Automatic fluid change is worst.
