There is always the possibility that he was part of a wider group and the device was created by someone else. At this stage I think we need to keep an open mind. I would not rush towards one direction. It is too early to conclude.
They're right, though. Having been in the military for a couple decades myself, I would *expect* any of my subordinates to be able to come up with a better plan than this. I know I could come up with a much more damaging device without having to put much thought or effort into it. ...but then again, I was also in the military long enough to know that there are plenty of morons in military service. I certainly wouldn't expect someone too stupid to come up with a decent IED to pass SFAS, though. Something tells me this guy wasn't "Special Forces", he was some random supply clerk or laundry tech *supporting* a Special Forces unit.
I think they're implying it could've been much worse, which is exactly what I was thinking. Why go through all the trouble of bringing extra firearms and whatnot if you're not going to use them?
Was the other guy from New Orleans attack a Muslim convert similar to Malcolm X who had an American name but when he converted to Islam gave up his American name and changed it to a Muslim name? Saw the guys TH-cam video and he sure sounded American to me. Law enforcement has to do a full history of where his family originated from and what his actual name was before converting to Islam, if he did change his name and that Green Beret at the Trump Hotel. The guy was career military and it makes no sense why he would do that. Something just doesn't make any sense. Green Berets are smarter than that, he had 19 years and that's close to retirement and a family. Either the military really messed this guy up or something is going on. You would think he would have remote denoted that thing instead of being inside it. Timothy McVeigh wasn't inside the truck when it exploded. Something just doesn't make any sense. Just cause you see a gun on the floor of the truck doesn't mean he shot himself. Makes no sense cause that guy was close to retirement and had a family. Maybe you guys can shed some light on this stuff
@@STANTHONYPRODUCTIONS I think they actually more agree with you, it was incredibly rudimentary and ineffective. Like it was solely made to grab attention, not do serious damage.
The police said in another conference, that they got footage from the cameras that are at Tesla's charging locations. I'd guess there is some paperwork involved in getting the car's data, since it belongs to some random person, who has done nothing wrong. If the dashcam in the truck was set to automatic and the blast didn't knock out the computer, it's likely that the truck's last minutes are saved in the car and have been uploaded as well. We can see the headlights being on, while the car is already in flames, so good chances imo. Not so sure if there is much value in seeing the last minutes from the car's perspective but who knows. Now that I think of it... In theory, the owner of the car could have gotten a notification on their phone when the explosion happened incl. a short video trailer of their Cybertruck blowing up 😅
From what I understand all cameras do not go into sleep mode. Ever. Interior & External data is in the Tesla Cloud. I'm sure Elons on it. I bet Trump is thinking about doing a Tesla commercial! The Trump Tower is famous now. So commercially they win big.
The sheriff said that Musk gave them a valuable information about information on the vehicle and the trip that the vehicle took from Las Vegas to New Orleans. The sheriff credited Musk for his help.
found it weird that he shot him self before or after he exploded the car? There had to be a detonater so how do you kill yourself then detonate? I think this might of been a cordinated attack on new years but this guy changed his mind or fought back against the real suspect
It's pretty simple. He likely used a timer. The fact that the car sat outside the building for a little while rather than ploughing into the building & going off makes me think that's the case. He probably set a 20s timer, shot himself, then it went off.
The truck drove up in self driving mode to the front of the building..why wouldnt he plow through the glass door then do all that...yeah i find this hard to believe he blew up the devices and then shot himself all within 17 secs.
@@badfairy9554 Still dosn't explain the type of explosives used..seasoned and decorated Green Beret thats still active goes for fireworks...they're trained to do maximum damage when doing shit...so fire works and a text mesg. Yeah have another cup of jonestown flavored kool-aid
Big question here. Was the truck self driving to the hotel? Was this guy killed elsewhere and the truck set to drive him there with the fuse lit before getting to the hotel (or set off by cell phone after arrival) to hide evidence. This is a possibility with the technology in that truck. Is there a log of the mode the was in truck just before the explosion? It is just the high tech version of wedging something to the gas peddle to run a dead driver off the cliff to a fiery demise to send investigators in the wrong direction. It's a cliché for a reason. I would expect a Special Forces Soldier to be able to rig a more effective improvised explosion if he were the one committing the crime here. Which way to Hollywood, I got a script to sell...
Elon behind this . And he’s a dangerous man. Remember him wearing the devil costume ? With baphomet illumination symbol and upside down cross? Look it up.
Shot in head, by himself or someone else? Makes a big difference, as in he could have rented the truck and got shot so whoever could use it this way, and him as a decoy or not... They guy was a Green Beret with a new born kid, not your normal candidate for this sort of thing. That is unless he was suffering from PTSD and got crappy treatment and lost it...
Yeah, no. PTSD makes you hyper-aware and stressed out and fearful when it triggers, but it does NOT make people into psychopaths who plan out complex terrorist attacks. The only kind of crimes PTSD can cause, are reflexive over-reactions to things (IE, panicking and attacking someone because they snuck up behind you). It makes people high-strung, it doesn't make them EVIL.
This guy was making a statement of some kind because he seemed to be making sure no people were near wear he decided to park and detonate! It seems he didn't want to hurt anyone but himself!
what Tesla owners don't want to see on their phone: "Sentry Mode has triggered the alarm state. Press and hold this notification to preview the recording."
Title: shot himself NOT was shot. Wtf comes up with these titles of headlines. The original title is misleading. The whole point should be to clarify what happened.
Walking my dog, I've noticed one Cybertruck on my block. So far no explosions, but the owner is out working on it every day, some problem with its wheels. So much for the pleasures owning a new, expensive vehicle.
Perhaps the gunshot ignited the fuel vapors. More likely, he had the gun in one hand, and a lighter in the other hand. Shot himself as soon as he lit the fire.
@@kylereese4822 Then he would of had to have some kind of remote ignition device that trigger within seconds after his gunshot. That's unlikely. Maybe he had kicked the rear glass panel out.
Being he voted for Trump in all 3 elections and his family said he loved Trump maybe it was to be noticed by his cult master. Or maybe it was just one more of the countless domestic terrorists that are Trump supporters.
Elon behind this . And he’s a dangerous man. Remember him wearing the devil costume ? With baphomet illumination symbol and upside down cross? Look it up.
I’d like to think that the last thing that went through that guys head, other than that bullet, was how the hell Trump and Musk got the best of him lol
So he bought a pistol AND a rifle the day before, and brought them with, so that he could... shoot himself in the head with the pistol and leave the rifle unused in the car? No, he bought that rifle and brought it along because he intended to USE it. He didn't plan for the IED to detonate when it did. It went off before he had a chance to go inside and start shooting; and since it was such a poorly made device, he survived, couldn't get the door open after the (actually quite weak) blast, and got to choose between burning or using the pistol
@@JuanSuero-ln9vr You mean basic logic? Why, yes, I do basic logic all the time. The explosion would not have killed him. It barely blew the top off the truck bed. You can see that that burning debris is ejected at *very* slow speeds, indicating very low overpressure. The rear window of the truck wasn't even fully broken out of the frame. The blast didn't even crack glass a few feet away. The blast would not have killed him- but the fire probably would have (eventually). He brought two guns. If he had planned to shoot himself before the detonation, he had to reason to buy the rifle. Logically, the presence of the rifle indicates he planned to *use* the rifle. Which means he did not *plan* to shoot himself immediately. Which means he did not *plan* to be inside the truck when it blew up.
…soooo, based on the speaker’s statement, so-called journalists and law enforcement authorities are using bias to make sense of the guy in NOLA and bias to make sense of the guy in Nevada? I'm not a conspiracy nut. But what the cops are saying about both attacks isn't adding up. Suicide bombers don't shoot themselves in the head before detonation and some real estate guy has access to a rare earth explosive? And I would think that a former special ops guy would have basic knowledge of explosives. I mean come on ! Firecrackers? Really. As for the New Orleans attack. Why burn down the house? You did this to make a statement. He knew he would die. So why try to destroy evidence? Something isn't right and both cities cops are covering up something.

Something tells me this guy wasn't "Special Forces", he was some random supply clerk or laundry tech *supporting* a Special Forces unit.
or he was just fucking crazy and in his manic state wasn't able to create a device that works
You wouldn’t expect a special forces soldier to know how to rig THAT? Seriously?
I think they're implying it could've been much worse, which is exactly what I was thinking. Why go through all the trouble of bringing extra firearms and whatnot if you're not going to use them?
@@wdkj2013I guess this guy was in crisis, thank god he didn’t go through with what he might have

Donald Trump is going to shill Qarddin Token hard after the inaguration 😂
Sketchy af.
Id like to know what Tesla corp. has for evidence.
Tesla saved many lives
I just read he was a trumper so...wtf ?!
Missed again
maybe he didn't sign up to be a 'Musk'-er so he protested
LOL. Sure, a "trumper" would want to blow up a Tesla, Trump's DOGE pic's brand, at a Trump hotel. That all makes sense.
found it weird that he shot him self before or after he exploded the car? There had to be a detonater so how do you kill yourself then detonate?
I think this might of been a cordinated attack on new years but this guy changed his mind or fought back against the real suspect
It's pretty simple. He likely used a timer.
The fact that the car sat outside the building for a little while rather than ploughing into the building & going off makes me think that's the case.
He probably set a 20s timer, shot himself, then it went off.
I think the gas leak in an air tight car the gun shot ignite the fumes 💯🤔
timer or dead man's switch
@moscuadelendaest the gas leak in the car and the gun shot ignite the gas.
Lol. I have to laugh at your real suspect thing.
The truck drove up in self driving mode to the front of the building..why wouldnt he plow through the glass door then do all that...yeah i find this hard to believe he blew up the devices and then shot himself all within 17 secs.
He could do it by text.

A Telsa truck, at a Trump building ,explodes. Ya, no message being given here.

It makes people high-strung, it doesn't make them EVIL.
how he got PTSD?
He was stationed, not deployed in Germany.
This guy was making a statement of some kind because he seemed to be making sure no people were near wear he decided to park and detonate! It seems he didn't want to hurt anyone but himself!
why do you believe that he was even in the car? why do you believe any of these people.?
So if he shot himself first how did he trigger the bomb. And if he triggered the bomb first how did he shoot himself?
Did I hear that correctly? He shot himself in the head BEFORE he detonated the bomb?!?

Walking my dog, I've noticed one Cybertruck on my block. So far no explosions, but the owner is out working on it every day, some problem with its wheels. So much for the pleasures owning a new, expensive vehicle.

ELON MUSK
I’d like to think that the last thing that went through that guys head, other than that bullet, was how the hell Trump and Musk got the best of him lol
So he bought a pistol AND a rifle the day before, and brought them with, so that he could... shoot himself in the head with the pistol and leave the rifle unused in the car?
No, he bought that rifle and brought it along because he intended to USE it. He didn't plan for the IED to detonate when it did. It went off before he had a chance to go inside and start shooting; and since it was such a poorly made device, he survived, couldn't get the door open after the (actually quite weak) blast, and got to choose between burning or using the pistol
done this before?

Really.
