"Our study provides a novel mechanism to understand fluorosis," Associate Professor Rodrigo Lacruz of the NYU College of Dentistry said. "We're focusing on how the enamel cells handled the stresses associated with fluoride." Exposing teeth to excessive fluoride alters calcium signaling, mitochondrial function, and gene expression in the cells forming tooth enamel.

It’s poison,he said it lowers your calcium levels ,but still trying to convince people it’s good for teeth,but u need calcium to support teeth health not fluoride

its the ph of the fluoride that causes the added protection, doesnt matter that it has many negative side effects tho.

No. Fluoride bonds to hydroxyapatite in the tooth enamel and forms fluorapatite, which is a harder substance that resists acid erosion.
