Don't be fooled, that 5070 = 4090 thing is definitely gonna be with extra AI stuff enabled on the 5070 which is not enabled on the 4090. That's definitely not native. They've done that trick before when they first announced framegen and were comparing their older cards without framegen to their newer cards with framegen and pretending the performance gap is much bigger than it was. They're doing it again. If a 5070 can natively go head-to-head with a 4090, I'll eat my shoe.
The 5070 being 12gb means that on day 1 it will perform worse at 4k as basically nothing uses less than 12gb anymore. It'll likely be a bit faster in the two games that run under 12gb, or on modern games with the graphics turned way down. Like honestly, 12gb isn't enough for Ray Tracing or Ultra texture at even 1440p in most cases. Games in 2021 were recommending the 3080Ti for the 12gb at even 1080p.

They don't care about gamers at all. The fact they never listened and still don't provide sufficient ram on the 5070 card is kind of proof they are just scamming.
And i hate the AI thing... all of the "influencers" saying that it's almost unnoticeable if you turn them on, but after i got my 4070 i proved myself that everyone is lying! The ray and path tracing is a blurry mess with upscalers and frame gen the if you stand still in CP2077 for example, the cars will leave a huge trail of texture blur behind them, and the walking npcs are the same! As they walk by you can see a trail behind them! After the ray reconstruction, it was a bit better, but still ugly! You have to wait at least 2 seconds for the reflections and ray traced things to fully render, and if you move the camera again, thhen 70% of the detail gets lost! Without upscaling and frame gen, there is no hope to play with good fps! Even at 720p!!!!! With a 4070!!!!!
it always has been the Titan. the last time they had a "90" tier card was in 2012 with GTX 690. then they rebranded the 90 tier cards into "Titan" series when they released the GTX 700 series. they reverted it back with RTX 3000 series which makes RTX Titan (2000 series) the last Titan card.

It's like same speeds but for 1440p gaming in mind. 1440p is still 4/9 of 4K resolution so I could guess you can play in 1440p like with an RTX4090 in 4K, that's my take on this sentence.

There are performance bar graphs on nvidia website. 50-series cards are around 20%-30% faster than 40-series with RT, but they have more and better RT cores. The true raster performance is less than 30%.
This awakens the thermal enthusiast in me. Seems like the founders edition features all the latest tech at once and the pcb is now so small that double flow through can be achieved. Incredible!

Nvidia upgraded 5070ti and 5080 specs and prices are similar to 4070 ti super and 4080 super but left 5070 same as 4070. Nvidia doesn't want to give any upgrade to 70 class GPU which used to be most selling and famous at one time, no wonder why people like to switch to 60 class.
