This video means a lot to me, both professionally and personally. I remember that many years ago, when I discovered QOTSA, I was fascinated with the sounds of guitars, even before knowing the world of pedals. After some research I came across Andy playing "Mexicola" in the Cloven Hoof review and that was a turning point for me. I can assure you that Andy was one of the first personalities that made me want to own a pedal and today I owe my life to pedals. Thanks so much Andy!
@@KrozzDevices I just grabbed a Chase Bliss Generation Loss mkii and an HX Stomp, but if in the future I decide I cant live without analog modulation, I will keep you in mind.
Gawd. This pedal sounds amazing. But it seems both like there are no 'bad' settings (the pedal sounds musical at all settings), but also like you oughta know how a flanger works to get the best tones. In any event, as always, your playing is just sublime and brings out the best of whatever you're demoing.
I was like, “Who needs another flange pedal?” And then I come across not just a demo of this pedal, but Andy demoing this pedal, and I’m like, damn, maybe I do. In addition, I’m reading Krozz devices detailing how the many guitar sounds of QOTSA as a personal turning point, and I am suddenly much younger and hearing Regular John for the first time. Yes and thank you.
As always, great job. I am a Flanger aficionado (read “”addict”😊) and I adore this demo … the oxidation knob is tres cool. Not a big fan of swooshing flanges, but this pedal does it all, seemingly. Thank you for reporting it. Never heard of it before tonight. Cheers/Slainte.🇬🇧🏴🇺🇸. 🎸👨🏼⚕️🫶✌️♾️
can you do a video on the EHX deluxe electric mistress xo model. so many demos are just terrible. they have the rate so high, and even on the original, having the rate too high makes it sound terrible. there are very few demos where I can actually hear if theres anything good. most people say it's bad, all demos just show it on settings that the original would sound terrible at
@@AndyDemos Damn, its really catchy and shows off the pedal amazingly well - feels like it just stepped out of the 80's! Thanks for all the inspiration you continue to provide on all the demo video's!
I bought one of these from the second batch. Nothing crazy to it, just a good useable flanger. The only thing I wish was included in it was a TZF option. I don't know how technical it is, so it may not always be feasible to do so. Over the years, I've seen too many companies adding to their flangers arpeggiators or some weird waveform that most people wouldn't use. Anyways, Krozz made a killer modulation.
I don't know if anyone knows this yet but you can usually get a great Leslie sound by turning up the rate of ANY FUCKING PEDAL EVER eh hem. We need a new term for this how about darth Vader voice in the fan trick from tommy boy?

Might be the best Flanger I've ever heard. The oxidation knob really makes it.
Glad you like it! Thanks!
Andy is incapable of playing poorly. Flanger sounds incredible as well.
You're too kind and obviously haven't seen the many takes that I have to delete ;)

Man, I haven't played around with my Electric Mistress in ages. This video kinda inspired me to add it back to my board now.
I'm really digging the negative feedback mode. And it's nice to see the BK again.
That's totally my favorite mode too, mixed with the Oxidation to warm it up! Thanks!

This is a great pedal..have had mine for a few months now...very versatile...works well with proper gear..best flanger I have ever seen or heard.
I'm really glad you liked it! ❤

Happy to share it! Thanks!
Great demo as always. But far more importantly, FANTASTIC SHIRT! Great episode!!🤘
The legend... Wow you crushed this.... This pedal sounds really nice too.
Glad to see Andy back !! Yes
Awesome demo, Andy, you’re the GOAT!
I bought one a while back, a brilliant pedal . A great demo Andy, you have given me new possibilities to explore 👍
🤘👍🏿 Mine arrived today. So excited.
Awesome pedal and that semi hollow sound sooo good 👍
I thought 2022 was The Year of The Flanger, but maybe it's 2023. Mean jet swoosh!
Yes!! The afterburners are strong on this one!
It’s hard to find an interesting flanger, but as a huge Cure fan, I need them. This is exciting.
Curiously, one of the presets presented in the manual of Airborn is called "Wind Forest", in allusion to the song "A Forest" by The Cure!
Damn, i already have many Flangers but i might just need this one.
VAI BRASILLLLL !!!!

What song is played in the beginning, it's awesome!
Thanks, that’s just a like tune I wrote for the demo. Definitely had some New Wave influences.

What is the name of the guitar model Andy holds at the very end of the video, please?
This pedal holds No Quarter
