The first time I saw this prologue on the game I started to think that vyn is sus as hell ( but there r some theories about marius being a red flag too) Edit: yall pls don't hate him he's such a gentleman pls
I'm guessing that mc died, when mc tried to call them they can't hear her and artem had purple hyacinth that he placed on the tomb which means sorrow and asking for forgiveness maybe he wants to apologize to mc that he's the one invited mc to join the nxx which leads to a dangerous path and lead to her death, and also the tomb has a balance scale on it which means a lawyer def in that tomb, and in marius' painting were smiling then on the second picture we're sad and crying af that's def sus. It's either mc died or became mentally unstable due to a traumatic event that happened in the future. Or maybe im just jumping to conclusions but its just my guess :>
Saw someone saying that Marius's painting had to be scrapped off and the smiling MC picture transformed to a crying MC picture, depicting that something is not what it actually looks like, plus Vyn once mentioned that the king is the 13th card in each suit and symbolizes betrayal and conspiracy. And Marius' codename is King. - wow i can imagine the chaos on the entire tot community if marius turns out to be the hidden antagonist or smn 💀
Where did Vyn mention that? I would like to go back and reread the story and see. It's a really interesting and I want to look deeper into it. I don't feel like Marius would do something to harm you but its am interesting possibility
Haha yeah, I feel bad for not replying to too many though cause they're obviously way further in the story than I am. I gotta get back into it. I got busy and just haven't started playing again.
mihoyo has always been deep. in honkai impact, it is even darker than this. Anyways, i am thinking ToT takes place in the future bc roza says this takes me back to 2030 or something like that
I'm so surprised by all the theories, but why is it only based on theories? I mean, does the game don't have any updates for the ending or what? Nobody had finished this?
I've been playing the game everyday for months that I totally forgot about the prologue. The uneasiness I felt in Marius' art studio and in the cemetery ;;
As much as the mc is dead theory is very much possible, I think it's not the case because I find it a bit strange that Luke didn't show any kind of sadness / distraught... if the mc did die, shouldn't he be the most saddest out of the 4..? When mc "woke up" from her dream, Vyn is telling her 'Don't worry' but it can also be 'Please calm down' so I'm guessing mc did went crazy or at least having somekind of mental instability (Vyn was calming her down, maybe she was having an episode, she had panic attack during the 'nightmare'). (SPOILER ALERT) We are investigating illegal drug circulation, two NXX member went missing during this investigation. Throughout the 'dream' the mc experiencing dizziness and when she woke up Vyn's voice hurt her head. I'm guessing mc got caught by the villain and somehow got experimented on, or the mc got injected / ingested said drug so she was hallucinating all of that dream (Vyn also said "that was a dream but this may not be reality") Damn I can't wait for the continuation of the main story, it's so interesting O_O
That's precisely what I'm thinking as well! I think the grave that Artem is visiting is most likely his mentor's, since he's a lawyer and the grave has scales engraved in it. It's clear that the drug has negative effects on the people who use it, and I think there are different types of drugs from what we've seen.
There is also MC's parents being some sort of researcher or something like that. Maybe they did something to her when she was so young that she has no memory of it. It can be that this experiment plus what you said about her getting drugged. The drug may have caused a reaction to the previous experiments done to her because if she really became mentally unstable I don't really think it can be the her parents being researcher theory alone since she was perfectly fine all these years. I really don't think she died I mean she is the main character and plot armor
@@hashtagneko Shoot... How did I not think of that??? Props to you for remembering this! But honestly, her parents seemed quite nice. I'm assuming there's more to these drugs than we know. There's also the fact that Luke seems somewhat reluctant whenever she mentions her parents. Did they die? Or does Luke know more about this? Seriously, though, I'm so disappointed in myself for forgetring about MC's parents! Thanks, this theory definitely seems very interesting! But yeah, in that case, I wonded why she was fine all these years? Or maybe the symptoms of the drug aren't that obvious?
I think, there will be something happened with MC later, I mean for sure it will have mindblowing twist. SPOILER ALERT!!! But in my opinion, I think it HAS to be something about MC mental health issue. Because Vyn is the only character that explain all of the other 3 visions she saw was just a dream (or so we thought). I think MC may get depressed or get lost memories. So that she get into therapy process that NXX provide. Vyn try to recall her experience with the boys. Luke that gone for several years, his key is there. The box belongs to him but inside there are lots of memories about him and her. In his personal story, it is already explained. Ngl, eventhough I almost finish all of his personal story, he has lots of things that kept hidden from the players. Marius with his personal story about his families, how he actually don't want to take his big bro position because he wants to take his mom skills. If I remember correctly Marius (Z) also draw MC beautifully. Maybe later after the incident it makes him paint sad MC. After all it is TEARS of Themis. Artem too, it's about his personal story. I think the thomb is Neil Hume. Because it has no name? Neil and Giann was NXX members. They got into big things. NXX always kept hidden, I think of something bad happen, it is better to make the thomb without name at all. All of these memories is gone, and here comes Vyn. He ask MC to choose. Go through the same painful path or let it go?
I like this theory a lotttt also I noticed that in Marius' drawing MC is holding the same flowers Artem is holding in front of the grave. My personal theory I wanna add on to this is (spoiler alert just in case idk) MC's parents is probably working with Neil Hume, and something bad probably happened to the lot of them. As we know MC parents are in an undercover mission (I am praying I'm not wrong here) and nothing else about them. To me that's pretty suspicious,, Neil Hume is currently suspected of betraying the NXX too. Since there is no correlation between Neil Hume and MC's parents I'm just making a wild guess when I say that they work together tho
This is a well thought out theory, I was under the impression the tombs were more like Artems lost cases, or the mistakes he made throughout his career, including Neil Hume, we don't know how he or Giann went missing and I'm sure Artem must feel guilt regardless of whether he actually did something to cause it or not
I hope it is Neil on the tomb, since Luke's and Marius' symbols are pointing towards the MC :( Also, for Vyn's question, it is somehow parallel with what he asked to MC during their first meeting-with the stacks of cards. And MC chose to do it again thinking that outcomes vary despite of the same starting point.
@@hoshinichiro WOAHHH!! You're right!! That last part of your reply just gave me goosebumps when I remembered it! Heck... This game might get real deep after a few years. Towards the end of the story.
I remember when I downloaded the game and watched the prologue, I was thinking "Is this really an otome game?" because it felt like I was watching a dark psychological movie for a while and I felt kind of uncomfortable. I also remember how Vyn made me feel weird and also when I met him later too in the main story (the scene with the roses and him looking into the distance while a thunder appears outside). He's pretty sus as many say, but I still love him. He's probably the most intriguing character to me in the game. His knowledge in psychiatry etc is truly fascinating, but sometimes it seems like he knows too much and gives me the chills for real! Now after finally playing the game and knowing the characters better through the main story and the characters' personal routes and cards, I have to say that combined with the prologue, it feels like we witness a "bad ending" and this is a second chance given to the mc to make things different for a better outcome. *spoilers ahead* It makes much sense when you think the first encounter between the mc and Vyn was exactly about that topic of a "second chance" or "other possibly better choices" paralleling with the crumbled tower of cards Vyn had created. The mc answered something along the lines, that she would try to pull a different card and be careful of how she pulls it in order to not make the tower of cards crumble down, so this could parallel to the thousand of different chances to make things turn differently. Seriously I wouldn't be surprised, if Vyn turned out to be a mastermind or a godlike figure in the story, because his manipulative tricks and the "seems to know too much" personality, seems way too sus already, but then I'm thinking this is an otome game, so I don't know what to expect exactly. Same thing about Luke too, who's supposed to be dying in three years, but I don't know if they would really kill any of the leads for the sake of the plot. Unless it's an otome game like many others out there with a good and a bad endings, depending on your choices. But so far it doesn't give of the vibe that it's this type of otome game. Sure it gives us the chance to make choices sometimes in the game, but it's mostly about the cases we're working on etc. Who knows! *end of spoilers* One thing's for sure though; this otome game is definitely one of the most intriguing otome games I played in a while, because it combines not only romance but other elements too, that make the plot and the interactions with the characters so much more fascinating, like you watch an actual anime.
I wouldn't be too surprised if they pulled something like Vyn having been sending clues our way to break the forth wall. Like if Vyn were to end up like 707 from mystic messenger.
@@winterwitch8914 tbh I haven't played mystic messenger so I don't know the context of how it would relate to 707, but since I made this comment, I read some analyses and theories that make me think differently and in a broader way. Such as, that maybe Vyn could end up being our only ally in the story and tries to help us and give us hints through the story/his cards etc, while the other leads somehow have other motives to "betray" Rosa, while Vyn has none. I don't mean betrayal as something completely bad, but as the leads choosing something they believe in much more than choosing mc. Or it could be mc betraying nxx. Vyn though is always on mc's side, exposing her into dangers and ugly truths in order to help her grow and face the truth with her own eyes, all while the other leads always try to sugarcoat their way into the mc's heart. It could also be what I originally thought, that Vyn is a mastermind, making mc dance into his manipulative tricks, earning mc's trust in order to have the upper hand, all while he has bigger plans behind the scenes and his sus persona is proven to be right. After playing the game for some months though and reading some more cards, I don't think Vyn is a bad guy or "THE bad guy" (if there's one) of the story. For now, I have to say that I trust Vyn much more than I trust Luke or Marius. Vyn does make me feel uneasy sometimes, but I trust his judgement most of the times. I don't know if it's his manipulative ways working on me, or it's because he's actually a trusting person. He has become my favorite character in this game, so my judgement might be a little biased too, but honestly I don't think he's bad. Also my answer went a little out of context I think and became more of an analysis, so sorry for that.
@@itiswhatitis922 No sweat. And the thing I said about 707 was just a very popular analysis theory so don't worry it isn't spoilers. Also I 1000% recommend you play mystic messenger for the lore reasons if that's what you like about this game. Also I find Vyn super interesting as a character too. I think of anyone, he feels the most real and the least "character like". I mean that as in, he isn't a standard troupe for an otome game. That being said I struggle to trust Vyn's character bc he's a psychiatrist (that might be my own biases) but I feel like Vyn is already sus, and he does some shady things sometimes (like in that one story event when he used his psychology skills to manipulate an answer out of a bartenders a case). I still love Vyn but I'm very curious about the role he's gonna play. He doesn't really seem to have a side or like a set goal like the other 3 suitors so I can 200% see him staying with MC even if something happens. I need more Vyn cards to get a proper hold of his character though I feel. I keep drawing the other 3 so I don't know Vyn too well.
I am suddenly concerned that Rosa is stuck in a time loop for no apparent reason. There's no magic in Stellis, but... Wait does that make Vyn a god or spirit or something-
This is only my point of view and my opinion.. Vyn is no such a normal 'psychiatrist'.. At some point in some of his story cards (for example : Medieval Suspense [f-- i forgot how to wrote it]) he looks like he almost want to tell MC that he actually went through the same line of time.. But it ends with him changing the subject to another thing which make MC distracted.. But it also contradicting when we end the new event that comes up lately.. The lost gold.. He said that he was somehow related to royalty.. So its still confuses me on which one is the true one.. And to be honest.. I think the prologue showed us the 'first attempt' time line.. When MC having some mental illness / lost some memories after luke's death and NXX cases.. And if i remember correctly.. Vyn already give MC some question beforehand.. such as "if you had a second chance to start of from the beginning.. What path will you choose?" just like the time when he met MC at his house.. which MC remember and rush to meet Vyn to try it out.. And then she had some short shot of memories which (probably) is the 'gates' or maybe 'door' to turn the time once again from the beginning.. But still.. We need all the answers for this game.. There is so much thing that we still didn't know..
Ngl I'd love to have magic in the story, this is the only game in hoyoverse that's not known to be related to the others which is weird cause "hoyo-VERSE" The time loop thing would be so cool because if you think about it, the card stories from limited events maybe like the Halloween one or the birthday ones never canonically happen if I'm not wrong, but they still Happen- So what if we're actually in a time loop/bubble universe? Also as the person above me said Vyn does resemble unknown god and HoV
Okay i have a few theories One: this prologue is the “bad ending.” Where everything we said, everything we did, and every choice we made was all for naught at vyn said, however i think this might he unlikely based on the future cards and stories we get that will soon come to the global server. (Spoiler i guess? I’m guessing here.) but in our “bad ending” luke does die, Artem never found Neil in time leading to neil’s death, Marius never got to actually start or get off the ground as a painter and only paints painful things, and Vyn never joined NXX and never cared enough about anyone. Two: these are intro’s to each guy’s personal story. Thinking back, Marius paints MC, he has seen MC cry and is in love with her, naturally he would paint her cause im sure in some way shape or form MC reminds him of his mother. Painter’s paint complex emotions and are able to see the deeper emotions of the heart, looking back on the cases we have to solve naturally we would be sad. Regarding Luke, we always wanted to know what was in the box, why that key was around his neck, why somehow in the past, we gave him that key, and now that something has happened, we are able to open the box (going back to bad ending) and we find out what it was, we find out everything about Neil and Artem never moves on. And Vyn, Vyn seems to be the only constant. Three: (slight spoiler? You judge) Remember in chapter five of the main story? Sins of cynicism part 3? Why do you think that lab burned down and luke only got to see 4 chambers? Think also of the past few stories that had to do with love, and mental illness. One with the little girl, who was only 4 or so, and her mental health and social skills were severely affected. With Hugh, age what 8? He has a number 3 on his wrist, he clearly must’ve been in the lab, but then there is Janus, an grown adult man who was affected by the drug, what an age gap, who was subject 4? I think it was us, we have minimal side effects from the encounter with the drug. We are subject 4, but we have a life and are living. Four: pure speculation but what if Luke is subject 4? Five: we were captured by that cute scientist we only got a glimpse of, and subjected to those drug tests by force, that prologue is the nightmare we will have soon. Six: it’s just an intriguing opening to get us into this game. Thank you! What do you guys think?
All your theories are doable. But when I first played it I thought it was just a sneak peek to their personal stories. And Rosa being an experiment is also doable too because her parents are scientists. I can’t wait for the main story to unfold and I hope it won’t be a sad ending 😭
👀 oh i gotta read chapter 5 and come back here! Ive had a theory the prologue was the future. And if rosa is dreaming, she was still dreaming up until the final eye opening, where she lasts see the clock, as vyn knows hypno-therapy).
Bruhh everyone speaks about how sus or creepy he is, but yeah i fell for him because of this prologue too lol it's good to know that im not alone on this ;3
same! I really like him, though I can understand why ppl don't like him as well. but as some players have "theorised" in this comment section like he's the worst guy, he will abduct the members and other stuff, come on. he may not be your favourite, yes, he has some issues, however - I don't think he's that BAD. seriously. 😭
I only remembered the start vaguely, but holy shit, I really do forgot how unsettling it was. I kinda forgot the whole thing when everyone got introduced and got too busy simping.
I mean, if you wanna look at it symbolically, Themis is meant to represent justice, law and order. If she's crying and the tears she sheds are of the ML's, then something about the memory of them (which is what the cards are, memories and stories with the ML's) is linked to what would cause a goddess of law pain and sadness. And since MC is meant to represent Themis, you can assume whatever injustice is happening is through the lens of MC.
If the theory(spoiler abit) goes that MC is mentally unstable already I’m sure Luke will hella blame Arthem and Arthem will self blame forever that’s gonna be so sad in many ways bsc Arthem lost his teacher in NXX and inviting MC to NXX was his idea and if so I’m gonna see Arthem going emotionally unstable too I think I don’t think he can’t take two hits especially to MC.
Luke's gonna snap. He was never agreed on mc being in NXX. He knew it was dangerous. I feel like as much as he may blame artem he's gonna also blame himself for not stopping her.
I played tears of themis a couple of months ago, when i saw the beginning, I was creeped out af, especially when it was Marius and Artem's turn. I thought it was a jumpscare but then it wasn't, instead it is like something giving us a clue. Though i did logged off and delete it, I returned and I remembered nothing abt it until now. When I first started playing the game and watched the beginning, I was being cautious around Vyn bc he's the most suspicious out of the 4 no-shit, like he was holding the 3 items the mc saw in the dream, so who wouldn't be?? But then I watched this again on yt out of curiosity bc I didn't remembered the whole prologue, I saw Luke's key and it had a whole on it. When i saw his camera on his bag, there was a keychain and it looked like the hole so im guessing that belongs to the key. Marius was painting, mostly the sky, the clouds, but then when it came to Rosa's painting it wasn't revealed until she scraped it so there's somekind of meaning behind it metaphorically speaking. Artem was mourning, at first i thought it was his boss that's on the grave or maybe her, either of the two, then i saw the Hyacinth , i looked it up and it said it was often associated with spring and rebirth, it was often linked into pure love and happiness,or somethings sorrow and regret for something, it symbolizes symbol of peace, commitment and beauty, but also of power and pride. The hyacinth represents constancy and the blue hyacinth expresses sincerity. The hyacinth looked like pink, so i searched it up and it means "Play"? for some reason?, the purple means: "Sorrow, i am sorry", the white means "I'll pray for you, lovingness" and the Yellow means "Jealousy". And probably the places or surroundings have a meaning as well but im not sure, but definitely Luke holding the key has a meaning (i guess) and as well as the branch, i don't rlly know, not sure but even the littlest things have big meanings especially when you look closely into it
Vyn is giving me lawrence vibes, from dangerous fellows i still can't find vyn's red flags- well probably because i'm a vyn simp however, if something were to happen to those other 3 or mc i would have another mental breakdown curse you mhy 😓
Damn, after reading all the theories it sounds like it's going to be something like "Life is strange" where mc uses ability to rewind time back to change present/future. Maybe we too will be returning back in time to change some terrible stuff that will happen in future... And probably Vyn will be the only person who knows about us traveling in time, since he is the most strange and sus among all boys... Anyways, I just hope there will be happy end for every character T^T
I actually played this game earlier on and the prologue scared me I don't like angst, not at the moment atleast so I uninstalled but I was then again interested since many people posted about ToT so installed and I've been playing for 4-5 days,I read on hoyolab post about the statue being a representation of MC's condition she's crumbling ,one of the arm is broken apart and other side is fading away while she's crying...my theory is something will happen which will crumble her down and she can't using force since the hand where the sword is broken,I read something about this Statue which isn't from ToT the statue is the goddess of righteousness (I think) ,the statue is used to judge if someone is cheating or lying ,if she raise the sword the person is guilty while if someone is innocent the balance is raised.so maybe the statue means chosing to do the what is right even when your broken down
@@gugugaga3762 probably since snake is usually used to to symbolize betrayal? hmmm on top of books maybe it means not to trust what you learn from books or what you know
The fact that the MC was able to talk to Vyn and not to the other three guys. I'm thinking that possibly, the other three guys will die given the fact that they have death flags. As for Vyn, he doesn't have (at the moment). This is the reason why I don't ship the MC with Vyn because of this prologue. But yeahh I still have this feeling that possibly the MC will die in the end.
Honestly I think that the end is either never gonna happen, the twist is going to be innocent and happy since it's an otome game tbh OR if Mihoyo is brave, they could create some dark twist twist that could mind blow us >.> Like, reading some theories about the MC getting captured and experimented on is hella interesting, but I lowkey don't believe that they would have the guts to make it... *Spoiler below* At first I thought the MC was like this because Luke died and that had heavily impacted the MC and made her want to forget, but again, would they kill one of the main boys? AAA I can't wait for the story to continue
!Spoilers! Yeah, to be honest, I don't think they'll kill him off, but I do still expect things to go very dark. From what I understand, the game works sorta real-time? So, after 3 years an event somehow related to that will most likely happen,,, I have this theory in my head that maybe MC tries to sacrifice herself somehow in order to help Luke's illness (because I suspect it could be related to the drug) but then she is put in danger and this happens
I think i have a feeling, that, Rosa will have a bad end ,based on the prologue. The ending thats like "My Deepest Secret" where her boyfriend was just a hallucination/having a mental issue or something like that.. .. maybe one of the boys will die in the future. Yeah, maybe Luke because the deathflag of his. But i dont think so because i expect some twist that Mihoyo will do in the future, whether its dark or wholesome. I also found a theory where Luke was reading a book at the start of the story(mc's flashback of luke) The title of the book was "The Sign Of Four" .. maybe someone will use a betrayal move among the boys, and maybe someone might die amongst them. Also Vyn is so sus at the start. What happen to Mc, where you really comforting her? Or it's that one Red flag move where you hurt/use the advantage of mc's sickness And say something like "its oki im here uwu/trust me uwu/ depend on me uwu/lovemeonlyuwu'... i like vyn but, he really is sus at the prologue
This is my first time playing a Mihoyo game, And I'm not quite ready for this as many says Mihoyo likes to kill of characters we get to be attached. Personally I don't wanna think too deep into the prologue, it Just leads to bad theories and I hate bad endings, but Just to be ready, I'm pretty sure one of the 4 male leads (Luke to be precise) or our mc, will either die or have a bad ending. Luke has the unknown disease that doesn't have a cure, and he has 3 yrs left to live right? When he disappeared in this prologue, it was black feathers, and As I know it represents DEATH. I really hate how luke is bound to die in this game, or not if in the last second he gets cured. With Artem he was at the cemetery, at the front of a grave, with the equality symbol. This definitely refers to a lawyer, to add the creepiness, the flowers itself resembles forgiveness. It's either Artem, Neil Hume, or the MC in the grave. I hope it's Neil Hume bcoz I love artem and mc so much. In Marius case, there's kind of no clue whether he'll have a bad or good ending. One concerning thing tho, is that why is the MC Painted as happy, then sad? I hope it's not pertaining to a death of someone . With Vyn I quite don't understand what he's saying. It's really confusing. However my take to his words in this prologue and Vyn showing us the flowers artem was holding in the cemetery, and the Painting(Why does he have Marius' painting??), and Luke's key (Why even the hell does he have that anyway?), to make us dream about them, something tells me we lost our memories. It's either Vyn is a secret antagonist, or him curing our amnesia or somn. Another hint that we had Amnesia, is that Vyn said, The key to the chest of memories, did you see the answer inside? Was it what you wanted? As for now the only thing I understood with this line is the key to chest of memories. Luke is really deeply connected to mc. The "did you find the answer inside? Was it what you wanted?" I don't know how to digest this words, it's like we found something about luke and we didn't like it. Next "Using a painting to conceal the truth. Perhaps you can fool the eyes, but not the heart". I can't seem to Understand this for some reason but I'm guessing it's connected with Love or somn. Now with the flowers Vyn is holding and his line, THIS IS WHAT CREEPS ME OUT THE MOST. "Ironic isn't it? Adhering (Meaning : Stick fast to) to your convictions (Meaning : A formal declaration that someone is guilty of a criminal offense, made by the verdict of a jury or the decision of a judge in a court of law) but *betraying your heart*. In the end, it was all for naught ( Meaning : NOTHING)" Now I can't comprehend on how creeped out I am about this. To translate this line to get a better understanding, "Ironic isn't it? Stick fast to your formal declaration that someone is guilty of a criminal offense, but betraying your heart. In the end, it was all for nothing." My take to this, is either we fight against one of the 4 male leads, or Us making a wrong judgement for a case. It really does. The line "In the end it was all for nothing", my take to this is Artem said something like trust yourself, and it's like it's okay to make wrong decisions, but then it ends up for nothing, but a FAILURE. Now I really thought this was Just a normal otome game where we get to hang-out with some ripped beefy guys, and then become couple and have a family, but ToT is something different. The tension, the build up of the climax, it is such a masterpiece. Mihoyo, Ik I don't have a Billion dollars to convince you, *BUT PLEASE, I'M BEGGING YOU, NO F*CKING BAD ENDINGS PLEASE. I WANT A HAPPY ENDING WERE THE 4 MALE LEADS AND THE MC IS HAPPY HAPPY, PLEASE MIHOYO, PLEASE.*
I don't think that mc is dead, maybe artem is visiting his mentor (the one that dissapeared). Also i'm a psychology student and what i think vyn's doing it's a regression by hypnotizing her, that's why he talks about the chest of memories and covering up her true emotions like the painting, i think he's doing that to put her feelings in order (maybe to make clear how she feels for all of them), idk.
It will say:"skipping will cause us missing something on the main story (I forgot the exact word)I know cause I forgot which account I used so when I logged in on my new phone I accidentally made 3 new accounts which I skipped the dream part so I can go to settings and switch again
My theory, I think the prologe is actually what already happened with the Mc since she seems to know the main 4, Luke is dead because crows represent death, then Mc falls to despair and tries those hallucinations drugs living in a past where Luke alive and everyone despite everything were happy. The painting was to describe how Marius felt hurt by her lose all of her senses, while artem putting the flowers on the grave it might be Luke or his teacher grave ~🌚 While vyn try to wake her from her state but keep her in control at the same time ~😊
I am falling in love with VYN So much that it hurts. I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THE PROLOGUE TBH... That is until I found some ToT memes and they kept saying the VYN is so Sus/ Red Flag. Reminded me that something weird happened in the prologue... Here I am watching it again then.... I am realizing all the red flags and sussiness about this game.... I need a doctor- *faints*
I would like to say smth in contrast to all the stuff abt MC dying give a light in other possibilities. I somehow given a thought that MC is actually alive and helped by Vyn to regain her memories, but the fact that these boys kept disappearing was because either they were dead or captured by NXX. And the game that we are playing is actually the flashbacks of her memories with them. Idk abt Marius, but seeing the statue of Lady Themis already gives us the the clues. First, the game cards and nicknames of the boys were given in this game. Second, an art for this game is actually released (MC is Lady Themis and she is surrounded by the boys: Artem Wing is the balance scale, Luke is the sword, Vyn holds the blindfold, and Marius is the snake that the statue is stepping on which symbolizes evil/corruption is being crushed justice). Marius is very sus actually, the fact that he is "King" that was shown in the card of Vyn abt betrayal smth like that (that explains the snake symbolism). You can actually look at the art of this game in google and you can see their character representation where the boys are around the MC being Lady Themis. PS: the art shows only Marius isn't looking at MC, so it may really mean that he is a sus character and the hidden antagonist among the male "leads"
I have two theories about this: 1) Vyn is speaking to Rosa about her regrets over Luke's death, or her choice of LI 2) Does anyone think this is actually Marius' pov? Makes sense given that Vyn privately tutors Marius, so he'd talk to Marius in this tone...and it's likely that the painting at 6:11 was his Honestly, Vyn sounds like he's just impartially reflecting back the events of the past to whoever is in the seat. While he may appear sus as a result, I think it's more reflective of his role as the psychiatrist and 'adjudicator', rather than an antagonist.
I come back to re-watch this every once in a while to see if I can understand anything different. Now I think that the person in the grave might be Artem's mentor, and the painting might either be linked to a Possible betrayal of Marius or a tragedy for the Von Hagens. I still think Vyn is super sus and that while maybe we might have gotten NXX our system, Vyn might be taking her somewhere on a boat and that's when we black out. Obviously I'm just cornplating here but that's some food for thought 😅
Theories, i guess (spoilers start on 3) 1. Vyn definitely knows a lot. When I started this game, I suspected that everything was a simulation of some sort. 2. The key may have more importance than just the Sherlock Holmes books. We never know yet for now but that box of Luke definitely contains stuff important about Rosa. *Spoilers* 3. Luke was the only one that disappeared with black feathers. Black stuff related to birds usually mean death in anime and other stuff. He really might die in 2033. We just don't know if mihoyo will go that far in the story, since we began in 2030 and now that we have the anniversary (we are most likely entering 2031 or smthn). 4. What if the cemetery actually had people related to NXX die? Like the cases and former members... What if this was a timeline that Neil, Giann, Luke, and other people related to NXX cases (possibly Rosa's parents as well) died and their tombs are nameless to keep the confidentiality? 5. Marius' art room looked like he was packing up, to me. Just like how he was covering up the painting. More like a symbolism of leaving his passion 6. If this was actually a simulation, Vyn probably has most if not all control, and he probably also curated how all male leads will come off to Rosa, leaving her to decide who to choose or smthn 7. This could also be just Rosa dying just after Luke does. Notice how only Luke's area (the forest) doesn't give off much of a "weird feeling" than the others do. If so, then maybe she came back to save Luke or something but lost her memories on the process of going back (also a reference to Vyn's card game. Connecting to how 'he knows so much'). Ok this is probably all that I can think of
Reading through the comments made me realize that Rosa is probably alive but having severe mental issues and only Vyn can help (as a psychiatrist) Marius and Artem dying totally makes sense. Observing around Marius' art studio really gave the feels of like leaving. If Rosa was trying to cover up the painting to try and forget marius, and the change in emotions of the painting representing Rosa's mental health, it totally makes sense Another thing is Artem. What if it was actually Artem's grave and mc bought him flowers in regret. Because I really think a lot of NXX people are buried in that cemetery. Also, it really makes sense if Rosa goes **mad** due to deaths of Luke, Artem, Marius, and possibly even the others like Captain Morgan, Neil Hume, Giann von Hagen, and her parents due to finding out something worse or what's behind Heirson doing these shiz
I had a similar theory that ppl died (mostly luke) and she went mad and needed vyn’s help to sort it out. The rest of the boys had sad endings: marius dropping his passion, artem having his own niel hume thing (im still reading everyone story)
This scene can make up a good psychological thriller series. It's hard to pull off that kind of genre cause mental related stuff is hard to interpret, especially if you're experiencing mental issues due to circumstances. And yes, I was in there and still is.
Theory Something big will happen with Marius brother and Artem mentor, during that MC is getting a whack to the head or some life threatening injuries that put them in a coma and they lose their memory Vyn is giving MC therapy and trying to get her to remember they guys, these dreams are her trying to remember them but she imagines them all being sad because that’s the only them that she knows I think that has to be the reason otherwise they would look more sad and I thing that it’s Artems mentors grave in the cemetery Possible evil twist if Mihyo want to go dark Vyn could possibly use his skills to manipulate MC’S memories as she is mentally vulnerable at this time (or he could just refuse to help her remember because he thinks that’s what’s best for her) Idk I’m just letting my imagination go wild lol
Now that I watch this back..Its making me worried AF!!! Now that I read some theories in the comments too..Fhehfhd Mihoyo games always had someone dieddd
when i first started playing I was like, man everyone here need therapy ASAP, lol I even called Marius an obsesive person for paintint the mc (spoiler: i love him now lol), but yeah, the prologue gave me chills and reconsider playin', its really good game :D
okay i’ve seen a lot of theories and i read most in the comments so i wanted to share mine **SPOILERS AHEAD** okay so i think that the prologue shows how future events and we might be on the path to experiencing them. we know that all the male leads care for the mc so if something happened they would be very distressed. however when you see luke in the prologue he is the only one (not counting vyn) who doesn’t seem to be sad. we know that luke is bound to die in 3 years so maybe his doctor never found a cure and he did die. After he dies mc would be depressed since she’s known him for almost all her life and they were really close. i think that she might go in a state of madness. I think that the dream she’s having in the prologue is her imagining what would happen when she dies. like i said before all the male leads care for her so artem and marius would be sad. i think why marius painted mc smiling was in order to remember her before her mental health plummeted and she went mad. but it also shows her crying this shows her after her mental health problems because it is how marius last remembers her. i think artem was visiting mc’s grave because it had a scale engraved on it. they often symbolize law so i think a lawyer would be resting there. that lawyer would be mc after the wake up from her dream she is in a room with vyn. i think that since vyn is a physiatrist he attempted to help mc with her mental health. when he noticed she was having a nightmare he woke her up and tried calming her down “don’t worry” however this doesn’t explain why he has all the items mc saw in her dream i still don’t have a theory as to why he had them of course it’s just a theory and i’ve never really made one before so i might be wrong i really hope i’m wrong because an ending like that is really sad 😭 i just want them to all be happy and healthy
everyone's theories are so exciting to hear, there are such great storytellers in the comment section As a Vyn bias I m so curious because he stands out in a lot of places, he was one of the original NXX members and the only one who didn't disappear, unlike Giann and Neil. Him saying "deeds over words" and using hypnosis on Rosa. Rosa has very strong beliefs and often in Vyns stories, we can see him observing how far she ll go to bring out complete justice. Even in one of Artems stories when they have different approaches and argue, she stands her ground. But what if she comes to know something that challenged her ideas of justice, in a lot of the cases she's seen questioning the criminals motives and understanding them but will it finally break her someday ? Although each of the four guys may have motives to betray, we cant forget Rosa and that would certainly be a twist. What if her view of justice doesnt coincide with the instituional one, someday ? Will she take things in her own hands Seeing Artem at the grave makes me believe that its Neil's grave and with the symbol of justice, maybe Neil was innocent and died in hiding. The nameless graves could also be the subjects who died while being experimented on or Luke's partners who died by coming in contact with the drug ( Luke was the only one who survived ) Theres so much unanswered in the story even with the game being two years old in the chinese server and with the 2nd anniversary proposal cards i really dont know what direction its taking, also is it just me or Rosa in the prologue looks much older ? Also about Vyn holding the items in the dream, maybe the items are real and hes manipulating her "dream" to show and tell him about the MLs ? Another crazy thing would be what if the three MLs went missing or betrayed and Vyn had to get the answers out from Rosa. Vyn already suspected Neil to betray the NXX even if he was closely working with him and knew him for long, so it seems hes definitiely familiar with betrayal.
I have read a log of the comments and have my own theory, based on everyone’s that I’ve read. What if this is basically showing what ye future with each male lead will become? Luke: (disappears into raven/crow feathers) he passes away, mc looks into the box, only to become empty with the result inside Marius: (disappears into a golden light) perhaps he betrays the mc, and she is left with nothing but pain and sorrow from his actions Artem: (disappears when she looks away) judging by what Vyn said, mc may have died, or caused someone else to die due to her actions. She may have sacrificed something or done something abnormal in order to help Artem/other people, resulting in her demise. Taking all of this into account, Vyn’s line that basically “if we knew the outcome, would we follow the same path” seems important. If we knew how each path would end up, would we really go down it? Though as the mc says, she would keep trying until the answer is different. Just something I thought up, this might not be true or accurate at all
One thing is for sure! As long its created by Mihoyo/HoYoverse, we can expect crazy theories (Calm down people Yall scaring me!) Two, HOW SMART ARE ALL OF YOU TO DECODE ALL OF THAT. THREE! Cmon Guys Its Mihoyo/Hoyoverse we're talking about! Ofcourse Death is near☺️
I think Dr. Richter used some kind of hypnosis on MC and she’s just imagining the whole story... In the story, Vyn is really curious about MC and he take notes about what MC is doing so the two thing are: Dr. Richter don’t know how to show his love for her or MC is his test subject in this hypnosis project. (Sorry for the grammar mistakes 😂)
Well prologue means a separation introductory of literary or musical work. So they technically could be flashbacks. To me it means a beginning to the beginning. Seems to me they're past details locked in her subconscious for whatever reason. Time will tell.
Ok now I'm scared. But if the ending goes bittersweet or not really good ending I will accept it Also if it's greatly executed then I would definitely put it on my list of masterpiece.
My theory is probably that Luke died and the MC couldn’t accept his death, before Luke died he left MC the key to the chest which was filled with their memories, then onto marius, he might be painting what he remembered MC before luke died, happy and smiling. Then after was the picture of after Luke died. When she couldnt accept his death. Then onto artem, the grave he stood in front of may be Luke’s grave or his old professor’s grave. When the MC woke up she appear to be in a room with a bed which may also mean she lives with Vyn which would also kind of make sense since if she keeps living in denial it might be unsafe for her to be alone. Vyn is a Psychologist he could possibly be helping MC to learn and accept Luke’s death. The items he held in his hands may be from Artem and Marius hoping those items would help her accept Luke’s death and move on. And when vyn said “it was a dream but it also may be reality” might mean that she thinks of Luke’s death as a dream, but it was a reality. You could dream of someone dying thinking they are alive outside of the dream but in reality they are still dead.
I'm not good making theorists, but what if Rosa got into a cases that she is involved as a suspect and she isn't sure of what to do (by reading some comments it can be because she was drugged by the bad guys). She ask for help from the boys and they accept but they start losing faith in her Luke, the first one who was willing to help her, finds out because his dectetive skills(? that she maybe culprit but kinda in denial because he trust her from the very beginning (or maybe he just gives up because of his health going worse because stairs going tho the sky... that's no good) Marius will help her after that but ended like Luke and filling betrayed by her muse (and that's why the painting) Artem will help her because they are partners and he is going to be his lawyer for the cas eand doesn't care about the ways (he probably used false evidence in a case once(??) And lastly Vyn, who didn't believe her but she ask him to do something like hypnosis (the clock thing at the end) to figured out what happed when the whatever-she-is-geting-culpril happen and that's how it stars. THIS IS SO LONG WHY IM SORRY I HAVE TOT BRAINROIT (Plus, not related but who is the narrator of the story, calls Rosa by you and the boys by his names, like is counting everything to Rosa from the beginning and sometimes says their own thoughts, idk I wad wondering that and ended here lol)
I'm just starting episode 2, but I wouldn't be surprised. Since stories like this always have twists and turns to keep you wanting more. I'm excited to see what happens in this one.
Did you read his personal story? He has some short of disease. But I'm not sure what it is. If you are international player and read the new Cynism part (last one), Luke drink one pill that can prolong his life.
@@kiranaanugrah1411 [SPOILER] in luke's 1st anniversary card it is stated that he got injured during a mission whereupon some kind of drug got into his body, which causes him to have only a couple of years left to live. apparently it's the same drug the NXX members talked about.
[Spoiler alerts] Disclaimer! My theories and analysis is not cannon to the game itself yet I am just speculating because they wont put these hints for no reason •Reason• When i saw this prologue i didnt think of it that much and it was just very intresting to me but now that i am a level 62 Player and i have nothing to do in ToT except for my daily tasks (when there is no Events),i wanted to analyze a bit more because nothing in this prologue connects into Any of the main stories. •Theory• Almost everthing in this prologue points towards Mc's Death or it shows signs of the Mc leaving/dying, And it also shows some sort of Sorrow Between The male leads •Analysis• First of all i noticed that the Mc knows everyone (Male leads) when the main story (The Hand that feeds) we only knew Artem and The reunion between the Mc and Luke only happened when the investigation started and of course she only met Vyn and Marius Later on the story, So that means it must be In the fiture considering she knew who theyre and she even knew Marius liked painting, So its impossible for it to be the past. Lets get to the actual Part I'm quite curious on why Luke was Looking so Dejected while looking at the Key necklace, why is he Sad? Why was he looking at the key? which btw Mc gave that key to him and he kept it forever, Im not sure about the box Mc opened is the gift Mc gave to him since she did not mention anything about it being 'The box' so that leaves unsolved For Marius i noticed That he was right next to the ocean,You can even see a lightpost Far away but thats not an important information since it might just be a pkace where Marius likes to paint or Is it a place Mc and him visited for a special Date? We are not gonna forget about the painting of course, The painting was covered with white paint that seems to be scraping off...And when the Mc gets dizzy The painting turned into Mc crying... and Vyn also talked about "Using a painting to conceal the truth"..Is the truth about her? Or is the truth The feelings that Marius is experiencing currently While painting Mc... Lets mive onto the flowers and Artems part Artems part was the most Complicated and it leads to Death and Sorrow... The first thing that we notice when Artem suddenly disappeared is the Flowers And tjose flowers are Hyacinths. I got curious because they wouldnt just say the flowers name for no reason because they couldve just said "He offered some flowers to someone, but who is this person?". I noticed it was Pink and purple Hyacinths, So i searched up the meanings of The flowers and its there... "Purple Hyacinth meaning:Sorrow or im sorry" What is he sorry for? Why is he sorry? Lets assume its Mc who Is in the tombstone Is he sorry for suggesting her into the Nxx team that putted her in so much risks it hot to that predicament? Or is it sorry for not protecting her?... "When the red and pink hyacinth means play in Victorian flower language, it means happiness, love and protection in witch-lore." This kinda reminded me of Artems card 'Entwined fate' and Coincidentally He wished for protection and they also Got teased by the Master To wish for marriage Protection= Safety wish Love= Marriage wish But its not just that, Because when i searched it up there was also a Summary of the History of Red/pink Hyacinths that made them The 'Love and protection' Hyacinths •Story• For the most part, this relates to the story about Apollo, the sun god playing a game of discus with his favorite companion, Hyacinthus. Although the story starts out well with the two trying to see who can throw the discus farther, it ends with the death of Hyacinthus because he gets hit on the head with the discus. It’s not all Apollo’s fault because Zephyr had a hand in changing the direction of the discus. It’s just because he was jealous of Apollo’s and Hyacinthus’ friendship. Where Hyacinthus lay dead, the red hyacinth bloomed. •Continuation of the Analysis• I have a book that is also Related to greek mythology (The trials of Apollo,Book 3) And i immediately went to the back of the book for the 'Guide To Apollo' and i saw that Hyacinthus and Apollos Relationship is not just "Friends" They were lovers... And when Hyacinthus died the Love hyacinth was born.. But there is more, The symbol inlaid onto the Gravestone.. It was A scale.. And the game Is literally Named after a God "Themis". "She is the personification of justice, divine order, fairness, law, and custom, and her symbols include the Scales of Justice." She symbolizes Law and of vourse it can also lead to Neil hume since hes also a Attorney or a legal consultant...But What and why is he sorry for? If its Connected to Neil hume, What is the reason he feels Sorry isnt he the Bad guy?.... Now onto Vyn who has the most confusing part He said "Is this A dream or the reality?" If The mc is indeed Dreaming She's obviously aware if its indeed reality or Her imagination. But why is she with Vyn? Therr must be something wrong with the Mc and Led the Male leads to be so worried and For Vyn to be consulting Her Lets go over what he said.. "The chest of memories..Did you see the answer inside? Was it what you wanted?" The phrase "Was it what you wanted?" Made me confused What is Mc hoping for? What is the anwer Mc needed from luke?... I already talked about The 'concealing the truth with a painting part' and Im still curious, What is the Truth? What is he trying to conceal? And also 'Fool the eyes but not the heart' its like saying, "You can put up a front for everyone to see but you know Whats the truth" but Who is Marius fooling and what was his intention?.. "Adhering to your convictions but betraying your heart.. And in the end, It was all for naught" Betraying your heart.. It was all for naught.. Is that why Artem Offered those purple Hyacinths? Did he have to choose between something that Included Mc's life that made him choose The Opposite One and ended Mc's life? Or did he do something within the Nxx investigation that made him so dejected because it took Mc's life? What could it be.. "Words are empty,Deeds over words, Let time reveal the answer.." Did something happen to mc that caused her to be mentally ill that her head is hurting? Did someone manipulate her with words and she instantly Believed it which Led her to this predicament? But im sure There is something thats gonna happen to Mc that will affect her Mental health so much, that Vyn needed to consult her But what are those signs of Death that they showed? There is so many unsolved things but as Vyn said "Let time reveal the answer.." Good job you got through until the end Of course there are more things left and all of these information are pretty obvious to begin with and I saw you guys making more theories that Has more information than this so have a great Day/afternoon/night!!
When i first saw this prologue (WAY BACK THEN), I thought that the picture that Marius was painting was us but then reading more into the story, it probably was Lady Themis. However, I'm not completely sure. She looked like us but could Lady Themis. We are based off of Lady Themus like we have the same hair style as the statue of Lady Themis. Vyn maybe must've made us see these memories (or scenes?) for a reason. They're more meaning to those memories. Likr at the end, Vyn was holding Luke's key, had Marius's painting, and even Artem's flowers. He placed a clock in front of us to resemble him. Really though, Luke, Marius, Artem, and Vyn were very sus
pls my tears of themis restarted i have been on somewhat level 39. i havent log in for 3 weeks i think and after that my mihoyo acc logged out from ToT. i logged in again and this prologue showed up again. I was sobbing cuz after spending time with the characters for so long, this will show up at the start of the game 😭
I do have some theories in mind but it is not the ending. I think it will happen for sure in the future as the turning point or something else. For Marius, I can't help but to feel that he will leave mc one day. It is always that kind of story that what you don't like/fear the most, will be the things that you will likely face/do in the future. Marius' life is always full of being left by his precious people (his mom had died, his brother missing). He must think that he would never do the same to his loved one, but i think there will be a circumstance that force him to leave. As for Luke, of course, losing MC and makes her getting hurt will always be the most painful thing for him. It has been shown in his chap 4 personal story that he "almost" lost her. In the future card, there is a dream that he really lost her (she was a dragon and luke, as a knight, needed to kill it). I do think that his biggest breakdown will be that he will be the 'one' that hurts mc. He always protect her, so "hurting" will really- As for Artem, man, I don't know. Losing his mentor is something that breaks his heart. But I don't find the follow-up attachment from it that really stir him up too much until now. He is so healthy. For Vyn, he is afraid of losing his composure, rationality and control over himself. I don't know what will happen but i think... If something were happen to mc, it will definitely crush him down. It is not entirely impossible for Vyn turn into madness. Well, hypocrite themselves is always the way to make things more dramatic. (´;ω;`)
okay so this is HELLA sus, I've been playing ToT for over a year now and ohh my god I completely forgot the prologue. This might have something to do with the whole "npc" mystery in the "Mysteries of the Lost Gold" event ig.
Obviously the prologue shows us that Rosa went through something but is forcing herself to forget, to conceal the truth, and it appears that it is related to Luke, Marius and Artem. Vyn stands as the one helping us unraveling the mystery at the end of the story. I have the feeling that Rosa may have caused the three men’s death due to the NXX investigation. We know that Luke’s probably gonna die anyways but the tomb Artem’s looking over might be his own. The scale is not any scale, it has the sun and moon which specifically refers to Artem (his symbol in the game). Also dropping purple hyacinths which symbolize sorrow and asking for forgiveness is not common occurence when you grieve someone unless you made something that did them wrong. Maybe Rosa was unable to protect him or discover the truth before Artem happens to die. Then, when it comes to Marius for the moment we don’t really have a clue (at least SPOILER: IN THE CN SERVER, there ‘s one chapter where he’s in danger) but I feel like the way they all vanish and leave a sad Rosa is not a good sign. Or maybe they’re not dead but they were abducted one by one just like Giann Von Hagen and Neil Hume.
Ayo??? The more i watch the prologue, the more i get confused by this. What are you trying to say, Vyn? Heres my theory: Sooo these outcomes, where the mls disappears comes from, what i like to call, their "character routes" (which, every otome game has that right?) In the luke part, we find out what's inside of luke's chest... I remembered Luke saying that the things inside the box where important. Was our MC involved in there? Was it full of their childhood memories? Or... Its all about NXX? Well i don't know, but i really have a gut feeling that MC's parents are involved in the case. After that we go to the marius' part where he is painting MC. Its oddly weird that we need to scrape the painting.. Did he purposely do it? After we scraped the painting we found that MC was painted beautifully, and was happy. But suddenly became sad.. (Did marius locked her up or something lol /jk) Did she found some sad truth about Marius? Was a he on the antagonist side? ( I read some theories about marius being a redflag) then the next is the Artem part. Who died? Why are all of the tombstones are nameless except the one artem was mourning on? Was is it MC or Artems mentor? Also did artem betrayed us? And the last, Vyn's part. So i think that Vyn is aware of what's happening. Did vyn know what character route we picked? Did the character routes that we picked affects of whats happening in the future or in the "prologue" time? What about NXX? At first I thought that he'd on the antagonists side because he was showing sus vibes, but now i think he's helping us. Well it's more like guiding us.. "Would you picked it again if you know what will happen in the future?"(or something but he said something like that) According on what vyn said in the first chapters when we were a newbie, did he know something in the future? Well thats what i think about the prologue part and its so full of What and Why's lmfao "Let time reveal the answer."
Vyn sounds like the characters in the Until Dawn games. Little Hope, Man of Medan, The Quarry. 😂 especially the the quarry! If you seen an LP of that one most of the ppl the player interacts with in a 4th wall sense affect the story indirectly
I have a few theories : 1. MC is dead. 2. Vyn has abducted MC and is trying to hypnotize her, he never liked her in the first place. 3. The four guys were having conflicts with each other on who will have MC first, which ends in Vyn abducting her and having her for himself for the rest of her life. 4. Luke is dead and MC is suffering from PTSD, which explains Vyn trying to cure her PTSD. Fifth and final one might sound like it makes no sense, but it's the best bet.... MC is a schizophrenic, she imagined Artem, Luke and Marius. Her psychologist, Vyn, is trying to figure out what's going on inside her head through hypnotism so that he can cure her mental illness. Edit : OMG WAIT I HAVE ANOTHER SIXTH THEORY SPOILER ALERT!!! VYN IS PROBABLY THE ONE BEHIND THE NXX MEMBERS' ABDUCTIONS!!! (the following will only be possible if you've acquired this certain piece of information in the game) In the big data lab, when you open "academia"> "medicine" > "hallucinogen", DAVIS says "Hallucinogens aren't the problem --- its those who abuse them." which I found pretty strange cuz I haven't read DAVIS commenting on other information like this, maybe Vyn injected MC with a hallucinogen? if anyone has more info based on things DAVIS has commented on in the big data lab, pls reply to this comment with info. Yet somehow.... "That was a dream, but this may not be reality".... confuses me. It contradicts most theories. Was Vyn trying to prove the "npc and protagonist" theory (mentioned in the "Mysteries of the Lost Gold" event) and professor Neil and Marius's brother caught him, which led him to abducting them? is he injecting MC with hallucinogens to better understand the "game"? Edit 2 : GUYS I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT THAT THE "threshold" SYMBOL, THE ONE THAT IS USED TO REPRESENT VYN ACTUALLY SYMBOLIZES THE MEDIUM BETWEEN A POWER AND HIGHER POWER. Does this mean Vyn is the medium between us real humans and the characters of the game?
Vyn symbol is the Psy, used to represent psychology as a science (I’m a psych major myself, all my books had this symbol on them). The hallucinogens thing is something the dude in ep 5 (forgot his name but he made hallucinogens and sold them to students) said about how he’s not the problem, but the people who abuse those drugs are.
I know that what I am about to say is totally irrelevant to the clip above, however... [SPOILER] Jerome Adams, for me, is eerily familiar. If you are to closely compare him with Marius, you will notice that they share the same physical features-perhaps demeanor, too. I want to "presume" Jerome Adams as Giann von Hagen himself, but I don't have much evidence to back my claims. The older man that Jerome accompanies, might be Neil Humes-Artem's mentor-himself, since he "apparently" has a background in law and jurisdiction (See last episode of Sins of Cynicism III). Now what do these two have to do with the prologue? I'd like to take the theory of MC being experimented on due to her joining the NXX Group. As much as what I could grasp from these two's conversations, I think they are on to something involving the virus itself. These two deemed Heirson as something "at the tip of their fingers". Heirson was charged for their unethical methods, thus their (Jerome and his unnamed companion) conversation in the last episode of Sins of Cynicism III. If my hunch is correct, then Jerome-or Giann, and Neil must have deserted NXX to pursue personal goals involving the virus. Taking this, at some point, they must've taken MC to be their subject. Only Vyn accuses Neil and Giann of deserting the group for whatever reason those two have. Thus, albeit Vyn's unclear sentences, he 'seems' to be 'treating' MC through hypnotism. I still doubt Vyn and his overall nature-motives, intentions, etc. Perhaps, Artem and Marius expressed their sorrow because they were blinded by their own perspectives towards Neil and Giann. Luke, on the other hand, is still the only man I'll ever love in the game (lol). I know that Vyn is a red flag, as I've just finished the Vyn SR "False Tears" just moments ago; however, I'd like to raise a question. What if Vyn already pointed the answer to us? Ps.1) I'm sorry for the wrong grammar. 2) I'd like to read countering points. 3) I'm terrified of Vyn, too. He is indeed manipulative, but I think it's too early for me to judge.
Y’all are trying to ruin the impression I have for Vyn. I have to say if he were to be an antagonist it would be an absolute evil person , so let’s hope he’s simply a good psychiatrist trying to help MC
idk, vyn may look sus but he's really not (tho I'm freaking out from him everytime LOL) but the game's synopsis is about one case to another case that we have been solving they have some sort of connection or linked together and have something to do with the suspect or somehow
as of writing this eve of departure is already out. To the ones who have finished tell me, does this get explained in the end? is eve of departure the end?
Pov: You are getting scared by the comments.
I am 😭😭😭 im pretty sure i wouldn't be able to sleep tonight again cuz ill keep overthinking about this comment

Yeah, i am 😭😭 don't why suddenly i am getting scared
That theories are horrifying me 😭😭😭😭
@@ghalazyy i kept looking away and looking back at the mirror 😭
The first time I saw this prologue on the game I started to think that vyn is sus as hell ( but there r some theories about marius being a red flag too)
Edit: yall pls don't hate him he's such a gentleman pls
Same I thought he was going to be the bag guy or something
SAMEEE
i still simped tho
Same, and to this day I still think he sus
@@bunko. yup
Same 😅
I'm guessing that mc died, when mc tried to call them they can't hear her and artem had purple hyacinth that he placed on the tomb which means sorrow and asking for forgiveness maybe he wants to apologize to mc that he's the one invited mc to join the nxx which leads to a dangerous path and lead to her death, and also the tomb has a balance scale on it which means a lawyer def in that tomb, and in marius' painting were smiling then on the second picture we're sad and crying af that's def sus. It's either mc died or became mentally unstable due to a traumatic event that happened in the future. Or maybe im just jumping to conclusions but its just my guess :>
I hope this otome has a happy ending…. :( especially for luke
I hope so too :( i don't want anyone to die but mihoyo be playing with our hearts tho
THAT ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE ESPECIALLY ON ARTEM'S PART.
i think neil hume died, artem’s mentor. and he’s apologising because he couldn’t save him in time
@@kilmiya thats was my thought at first but why would they show neil when the first 2 items were abt mc.
Shout-out to the Artem simps who don't have to worry about his red flags or his death. Y'all the lucky ones

some Luke simp here as well💔
This comment section has convinced me that ToT is not a game, it's a whole subject. I'm not playing it I'm studying it.
I’ll be the first to start the riot omg 😭
Where did Vyn mention that? I would like to go back and reread the story and see. It's a really interesting and I want to look deeper into it. I don't feel like Marius would do something to harm you but its am interesting possibility
i would cry
Please no! it hurts!! but still I'll accept Marius for however he is! I simp for Marius and Vyn way too much
dude Marius could kill me and I'd forgive him so 🤷♀
this comments section is like conspiracy theory forum, i never thought ToT can be this deep
Haha yeah, I feel bad for not replying to too many though cause they're obviously way further in the story than I am. I gotta get back into it. I got busy and just haven't started playing again.
mihoyo has always been deep. in honkai impact, it is even darker than this. Anyways, i am thinking ToT takes place in the future bc roza says this takes me back to 2030 or something like that
that's mihoyo for ya
I'm so surprised by all the theories, but why is it only based on theories? I mean, does the game don't have any updates for the ending or what? Nobody had finished this?
@rellz_alle the game is still on going
I've been playing the game everyday for months that I totally forgot about the prologue. The uneasiness I felt in Marius' art studio and in the cemetery ;;
(SPOILER ALERT)
We are investigating illegal drug circulation, two NXX member went missing during this investigation. Throughout the 'dream' the mc experiencing dizziness and when she woke up Vyn's voice hurt her head. I'm guessing mc got caught by the villain and somehow got experimented on, or the mc got injected / ingested said drug so she was hallucinating all of that dream (Vyn also said "that was a dream but this may not be reality")
Damn I can't wait for the continuation of the main story, it's so interesting O_O
That's precisely what I'm thinking as well! I think the grave that Artem is visiting is most likely his mentor's, since he's a lawyer and the grave has scales engraved in it.
It's clear that the drug has negative effects on the people who use it, and I think there are different types of drugs from what we've seen.
OMG i never even though about that,, like dude what if mc got drugged omg
@@whazatt236 Maybe her parents really died when they were away and luke knows but he kept it a secret
This is a well thought out theory, I was under the impression the tombs were more like Artems lost cases, or the mistakes he made throughout his career, including Neil Hume, we don't know how he or Giann went missing and I'm sure Artem must feel guilt regardless of whether he actually did something to cause it or not
I hope it is Neil on the tomb, since Luke's and Marius' symbols are pointing towards the MC :(
Also, for Vyn's question, it is somehow parallel with what he asked to MC during their first meeting-with the stacks of cards.
@@akemi2929 few years? Do you think this game will go for long?😭
I remember when I downloaded the game and watched the prologue, I was thinking "Is this really an otome game?" because it felt like I was watching a dark psychological movie for a while and I felt kind of uncomfortable.
*spoilers ahead*
It makes much sense when you think the first encounter between the mc and Vyn was exactly about that topic of a "second chance" or "other possibly better choices" paralleling with the crumbled tower of cards Vyn had created.
Who knows!
*end of spoilers*
One thing's for sure though; this otome game is definitely one of the most intriguing otome games I played in a while, because it combines not only romance but other elements too, that make the plot and the interactions with the characters so much more fascinating, like you watch an actual anime.
Wdym Luke is supposed to die in 3 years ???
@@mrrrrrrrrw read his personal story. Everything you need to know is there.
When i first saw this, i was like "RIchter is sus af, what are you doing to me???"
FR
Ik this is 2 yrs old but like!!! Same!!! That's the only thing I remember about the prologue and I haven't liked him since!! Bro mega sus
I played this for the first time at 2AM and this shit scared me
Like it was so ominous, not the tone I was expecting it to start with at all
Watching this now, like, after playing, it make me more anxious on what's about to happen.
Purple hyacinths means an apology... Hm...
I am suddenly concerned that Rosa is stuck in a time loop for no apparent reason. There's no magic in Stellis, but...
Wait does that make Vyn a god or spirit or something-
Vyn looks like the genderbend versions of the Herrscher of Void (Honkai) and the Unkown God (Genshin) so I wouldn’t be surprised if he is a god lol
Ngl I'd love to have magic in the story, this is the only game in hoyoverse that's not known to be related to the others which is weird cause "hoyo-VERSE"
The time loop thing would be so cool because if you think about it, the card stories from limited events maybe like the Halloween one or the birthday ones never canonically happen if I'm not wrong, but they still
Happen-
So what if we're actually in a time loop/bubble universe?
Also as the person above me said Vyn does resemble unknown god and HoV
ikr cuz the "threshold" symbol represents a medium between the normal world and the supernatural world, according to google.
Okay i have a few theories
One: this prologue is the “bad ending.” Where everything we said, everything we did, and every choice we made was all for naught at vyn said, however i think this might he unlikely based on the future cards and stories we get that will soon come to the global server.
I can’t wait for the main story to unfold and I hope it won’t be a sad ending 😭
i like ur theory so much even i have to look back and read it again
I think the drug MC is injected with is a hallucinogen, because DAVIS mentioned something about it in the big data lab.
👀 oh i gotta read chapter 5 and come back here!
Ive had a theory the prologue was the future.
And if rosa is dreaming, she was still dreaming up until the final eye opening, where she lasts see the clock, as vyn knows hypno-therapy).
I want the six theory only to be true
As a Vyn simp, this is how I fell in love with him lol
Bruhh everyone speaks about how sus or creepy he is, but yeah i fell for him because of this prologue too lol it's good to know that im not alone on this ;3
OMG!!!! Bro same here!!! I was simp for Vyn since the very start and then I started to simp for Marius and Vyn both of them hehe
same! I really like him, though I can understand why ppl don't like him as well.
but as some players have "theorised" in this comment section like he's the worst guy, he will abduct the members and other stuff, come on. he may not be your favourite, yes, he has some issues, however - I don't think he's that BAD. seriously. 😭
I forgot how dark the Prologue used to be.... now Im gonna overthinking about this.
And, tbh now Im here, coz suddenly I get confused w prologue, and want to watch again :)
I only remembered the start vaguely, but holy shit, I really do forgot how unsettling it was. I kinda forgot the whole thing when everyone got introduced and got too busy simping.
Guys! The voice for Vyn doesn't sound like the *real* Vyn in Japanese.. his voice sounds different... he sounds like Jerome..
Dude thank youu omg I accidentally skipped it ☠️

lmaoo same 😭😭😭
why does nobody realize mc looks exactly like the kinda broken statue that cries when you use a vision to get cards its sus as hell
it's not that no one realizes, it's a well known fact by now that rosa is themis
@@Metamerism. yesss
Have you seen the official art where she's posing as the statue? It's pretty interesting
@@HyperfixHighway this is soo good!
Frankly the fact that we are using her cellphone to call and text and review memories as cards.
😢 who hurt you MC
I am not ready for all the angst 🥲🥲
And probably the places or surroundings have a meaning as well but im not sure, but definitely Luke holding the key has a meaning (i guess) and as well as the branch, i don't rlly know, not sure but even the littlest things have big meanings especially when you look closely into it
Vyn is giving me lawrence vibes, from dangerous fellows
i still can't find vyn's red flags- well probably because i'm a vyn simp
however, if something were to happen to those other 3 or mc i would have another mental breakdown
curse you mhy 😓
Yes he also give me
Lawrance vibes too idk why
When i start playing the game i was terrified of the prologue... everytime I see it, it is still like a horror movie
FR I remembered playing life is strange on my sister's phone. It's somewhat giving me the same feeling as TOT's prologue.

Hi Vyn!! That's my favorite red flag!!!!
I actually played this game earlier on and the prologue scared me I don't like angst, not at the moment atleast so I uninstalled but I was then again interested since many people posted about ToT so installed and I've been playing for 4-5 days,I read on hoyolab post about the statue being a representation of MC's condition she's crumbling ,one of the arm is broken apart and other side is fading away while she's crying...my theory is something will happen which will crumble her down and she can't using force since the hand where the sword is broken,I read something about this Statue which isn't from ToT the statue is the goddess of righteousness (I think) ,the statue is used to judge if someone is cheating or lying ,if she raise the sword the person is guilty while if someone is innocent the balance is raised.so maybe the statue means chosing to do the what is right even when your broken down
there’s also a snake on the statue’s feet that’s resting on top of a few books, idk what that means but probably not good?
@@gugugaga3762 probably since snake is usually used to to symbolize betrayal? hmmm on top of books maybe it means not to trust what you learn from books or what you know

The fact that the MC was able to talk to Vyn and not to the other three guys. I'm thinking that possibly, the other three guys will die given the fact that they have death flags. As for Vyn, he doesn't have (at the moment). This is the reason why I don't ship the MC with Vyn because of this prologue. But yeahh I still have this feeling that possibly the MC will die in the end.
Honestly I think that the end is either never gonna happen, the twist is going to be innocent and happy since it's an otome game tbh OR if Mihoyo is brave, they could create some dark twist twist that could mind blow us >.>
Like, reading some theories about the MC getting captured and experimented on is hella interesting, but I lowkey don't believe that they would have the guts to make it...
*Spoiler below*
At first I thought the MC was like this because Luke died and that had heavily impacted the MC and made her want to forget, but again, would they kill one of the main boys? AAA I can't wait for the story to continue
!Spoilers!
Yeah, to be honest, I don't think they'll kill him off, but I do still expect things to go very dark. From what I understand, the game works sorta real-time? So, after 3 years an event somehow related to that will most likely happen,,, I have this theory in my head that maybe MC tries to sacrifice herself somehow in order to help Luke's illness (because I suspect it could be related to the drug) but then she is put in danger and this happens
I agree!! otome games rarely go that deep but who knows
I mean, it’s Mihoyo… I think they’re likely to go DARK but maybe not kill Luke
> but i lowkey don't believe that they would have the guts to make it
may i present: honkai impact
Wait wdym he's going to die in 3 years ?? I haven't read his personal story yet so idk😭
its so unsettling... even after watching a lot of times...
Or it's that one Red flag move where you hurt/use the advantage of mc's sickness
And say something like "its oki im here uwu/trust me uwu/ depend on me uwu/lovemeonlyuwu'...
i like vyn but, he really is sus at the prologue
Wow after not understanding it the first time through and playing a couple of chapters this is pretty SUS
Why do I feel that from the very start of the game, they're pointing that one of them will vanish forever 🥺
I wonder... what would've happened if we chose leave at the start
nothing its just the same after you finish the prologue LOL
It will say:"skipping will cause us missing something on the main story (I forgot the exact word)I know cause I forgot which account I used so when I logged in on my new phone I accidentally made 3 new accounts which I skipped the dream part so I can go to settings and switch again
I really like the prologue
My theory, I think the prologe is actually what already happened with the Mc since she seems to know the main 4, Luke is dead because crows represent death, then Mc falls to despair and tries those hallucinations drugs living in a past where Luke alive and everyone despite everything were happy.
The painting was to describe how Marius felt hurt by her lose all of her senses, while artem putting the flowers on the grave it might be Luke or his teacher grave ~🌚
While vyn try to wake her from her state but keep her in control at the same time ~😊
I am falling in love with VYN So much that it hurts.
I have two theories about this:
1) Vyn is speaking to Rosa about her regrets over Luke's death, or her choice of LI
2) Does anyone think this is actually Marius' pov? Makes sense given that Vyn privately tutors Marius, so he'd talk to Marius in this tone...and it's likely that the painting at 6:11 was his
Honestly, Vyn sounds like he's just impartially reflecting back the events of the past to whoever is in the seat. While he may appear sus as a result, I think it's more reflective of his role as the psychiatrist and 'adjudicator', rather than an antagonist.
Am I the only one who thinks the MC’s death was faked by Vyn? He’s holding the flowers Artem carried to the prosecutor’s gravestone.
I played this at midnight and this did scared the crap out of me oh my god
I come back to re-watch this every once in a while to see if I can understand anything different. Now I think that the person in the grave might be Artem's mentor, and the painting might either be linked to a Possible betrayal of Marius or a tragedy for the Von Hagens. I still think Vyn is super sus and that while maybe we might have gotten NXX our system, Vyn might be taking her somewhere on a boat and that's when we black out.
Obviously I'm just cornplating here but that's some food for thought 😅
Theories, i guess (spoilers start on 3)
1. Vyn definitely knows a lot. When I started this game, I suspected that everything was a simulation of some sort.
2. The key may have more importance than just the Sherlock Holmes books. We never know yet for now but that box of Luke definitely contains stuff important about Rosa.
*Spoilers*
More like a symbolism of leaving his passion
6. If this was actually a simulation, Vyn probably has most if not all control, and he probably also curated how all male leads will come off to Rosa, leaving her to decide who to choose or smthn
Ok this is probably all that I can think of
Reading through the comments made me realize that Rosa is probably alive but having severe mental issues and only Vyn can help (as a psychiatrist)
Marius and Artem dying totally makes sense. Observing around Marius' art studio really gave the feels of like leaving. If Rosa was trying to cover up the painting to try and forget marius, and the change in emotions of the painting representing Rosa's mental health, it totally makes sense
Another thing is Artem.
WTF HOW I DID I FORGET THIS HAPPENED LMAO
This scene can make up a good psychological thriller series. It's hard to pull off that kind of genre cause mental related stuff is hard to interpret, especially if you're experiencing mental issues due to circumstances.
And yes, I was in there and still is.
Y'all ever found it Sus that when Marius sculpts themis, she isn't stepping on the snake whereas the other three elements are perfectly in place?
Theory
Something big will happen with Marius brother and Artem mentor, during that MC is getting a whack to the head or some life threatening injuries that put them in a coma and they lose their memory
Vyn is giving MC therapy and trying to get her to remember they guys, these dreams are her trying to remember them but she imagines them all being sad because that’s the only them that she knows
I think that has to be the reason otherwise they would look more sad and I thing that it’s Artems mentors grave in the cemetery
Possible evil twist if Mihyo want to go dark
Vyn could possibly use his skills to manipulate MC’S memories as she is mentally vulnerable at this time (or he could just refuse to help her remember because he thinks that’s what’s best for her)
Idk I’m just letting my imagination go wild lol
Now that I watch this back..Its making me worried AF!!! Now that I read some theories in the comments too..Fhehfhd Mihoyo games always had someone dieddd
I would like to believe that MC is in a coma somewhere and they just think she's dead.
when i first started playing I was like, man everyone here need therapy ASAP, lol I even called Marius an obsesive person for paintint the mc (spoiler: i love him now lol), but yeah, the prologue gave me chills and reconsider playin', its really good game :D
okay i’ve seen a lot of theories and i read most in the comments so i wanted to share mine
**SPOILERS AHEAD**
okay so i think that the prologue shows how future events and we might be on the path to experiencing them. we know that all the male leads care for the mc so if something happened they would be very distressed. however when you see luke in the prologue he is the only one (not counting vyn) who doesn’t seem to be sad. we know that luke is bound to die in 3 years so maybe his doctor never found a cure and he did die.
After he dies mc would be depressed since she’s known him for almost all her life and they were really close. i think that she might go in a state of madness.
I think that the dream she’s having in the prologue is her imagining what would happen when she dies. like i said before all the male leads care for her so artem and marius would be sad.
i think why marius painted mc smiling was in order to remember her before her mental health plummeted and she went mad. but it also shows her crying this shows her after her mental health problems because it is how marius last remembers her.
i think artem was visiting mc’s grave because it had a scale engraved on it. they often symbolize law so i think a lawyer would be resting there. that lawyer would be mc
after the wake up from her dream she is in a room with vyn. i think that since vyn is a physiatrist he attempted to help mc with her mental health. when he noticed she was having a nightmare he woke her up and tried calming her down
“don’t worry”
however this doesn’t explain why he has all the items mc saw in her dream i still don’t have a theory as to why he had them
of course it’s just a theory and i’ve never really made one before so i might be wrong i really hope i’m wrong because an ending like that is really sad 😭 i just want them to all be happy and healthy
Maybe rosa was just under immense stress and something inside of her just snapped-
Now i remembered that when i first started to game i thought Vyn was a villain etc.
everyone's theories are so exciting to hear, there are such great storytellers in the comment section
As a Vyn bias I m so curious because he stands out in a lot of places, he was one of the original NXX members and the only one who didn't disappear, unlike Giann and Neil. Will she take things in her own hands
Seeing Artem at the grave makes me believe that its Neil's grave and with the symbol of justice, maybe Neil was innocent and died in hiding.
Luke: (disappears into raven/crow feathers) he passes away, mc looks into the box, only to become empty with the result inside
Marius: (disappears into a golden light) perhaps he betrays the mc, and she is left with nothing but pain and sorrow from his actions
Artem: (disappears when she looks away) judging by what Vyn said, mc may have died, or caused someone else to die due to her actions.
As long its created by Mihoyo/HoYoverse, we can expect crazy theories (Calm down people Yall scaring me!)
Two, HOW SMART ARE ALL OF YOU TO DECODE ALL OF THAT.
Good theory there...... hmmmmm
What does the prolog mean? So confusing. So the chapters we are playing are all flashbacks?
Well prologue means a separation introductory of literary or musical work. So they technically could be flashbacks. To me it means a beginning to the beginning. Seems to me they're past details locked in her subconscious for whatever reason. Time will tell.
Ok now I'm scared. But if the ending goes bittersweet or not really good ending I will accept it
Also if it's greatly executed then I would definitely put it on my list of masterpiece.
My theory is probably that
Luke died and the MC couldn’t accept his death, before Luke died he left MC the key to the chest which was filled with their memories, then onto marius, he might be painting what he remembered MC before luke died, happy and smiling.
You could dream of someone dying thinking they are alive outside of the dream but in reality they are still dead.
really excited for this story to get really dark:)))
I'm not good making theorists, but what if Rosa got into a cases that she is involved as a suspect and she isn't sure of what to do (by reading some comments it can be because she was drugged by the bad guys). She ask for help from the boys and they accept but they start losing faith in her
Luke, the first one who was willing to help her, finds out because his dectetive skills(? that she maybe culprit but kinda in denial because he trust her from the very beginning (or maybe he just gives up because of his health going worse because stairs going tho the sky... that's no good)
Marius will help her after that but ended like Luke and filling betrayed by her muse (and that's why the painting)
Artem will help her because they are partners and he is going to be his lawyer for the cas eand doesn't care about the ways (he probably used false evidence in a case once(??)
And lastly Vyn, who didn't believe her but she ask him to do something like hypnosis (the clock thing at the end) to figured out what happed when the whatever-she-is-geting-culpril happen and that's how it stars.
THIS IS SO LONG WHY
IM SORRY
I HAVE TOT BRAINROIT
(Plus, not related but who is the narrator of the story, calls Rosa by you and the boys by his names, like is counting everything to Rosa from the beginning and sometimes says their own thoughts, idk I wad wondering that and ended here lol)
I think we (MC/Rosa) gonna die and isekai to Genshin. Hahaha.
As the hydro archon
(There are theories supporting my coment)
and this is where i fell in love with vyn !!!!
omg! broo same!!!!!
I think something happens to Luke
ya think
I'm just starting episode 2, but I wouldn't be surprised. Since stories like this always have twists and turns to keep you wanting more. I'm excited to see what happens in this one.
@@sophia-fuckthehandlesystem yep. it's right at the start too
Did you read his personal story? He has some short of disease. But I'm not sure what it is. If you are international player and read the new Cynism part (last one), Luke drink one pill that can prolong his life.
@@kiranaanugrah1411 [SPOILER] in luke's 1st anniversary card it is stated that he got injured during a mission whereupon some kind of drug got into his body, which causes him to have only a couple of years left to live. apparently it's the same drug the NXX members talked about.
I was waiting for one of them to jumpscare me
I wonder what happens if you pick "leave" instead of "explore" in the first choice, do you just skip the whole thing and hop on the main story?
Good question. I wondered that too.
yes,we will skip the prologue and go to main story instead.
no, i don't think so
iirc, i tried it once and rosa said something, but i think you have to explore it
You can't leave, the programs Will lead you back and you must pick explore
[Spoiler alerts]
Disclaimer!
My theories and analysis is not cannon to the game itself yet I am just speculating because they wont put these hints for no reason
•Reason•
When i saw this prologue i didnt think of it that much and it was just very intresting to me but now that i am a level 62 Player and i have nothing to do in ToT except for my daily tasks (when there is no Events),i wanted to analyze a bit more because nothing in this prologue connects into Any of the main stories.
•Theory•
Almost everthing in this prologue points towards Mc's Death or it shows signs of the Mc leaving/dying, And it also shows some sort of Sorrow Between The male leads
•Analysis•
First of all i noticed that the Mc knows everyone (Male leads) when the main story (The Hand that feeds) we only knew Artem and The reunion between the Mc and Luke only happened when the investigation started and of course she only met Vyn and Marius Later on the story, So that means it must be In the fiture considering she knew who theyre and she even knew Marius liked painting, So its impossible for it to be the past.
Lets get to the actual Part
I'm quite curious on why Luke was Looking so
Dejected while looking at the Key necklace, why is he Sad? Why was he looking at the key? which btw Mc gave that key to him and he kept it forever, Im not sure about the box Mc opened is the gift Mc gave to him since she did not mention anything about it being 'The box' so that leaves unsolved
For Marius i noticed That he was right next to the ocean,You can even see a lightpost Far away but thats not an important information since it might just be a pkace where Marius likes to paint or Is it a place Mc and him visited for a special Date? We are not gonna forget about the painting of course, The painting was covered with white paint that seems to be scraping off...And when the Mc gets dizzy The painting turned into Mc crying... and Vyn also talked about "Using a painting to conceal the truth"..Is the truth about her? Or is the truth The feelings that Marius is experiencing currently While painting Mc... Lets mive onto the flowers and Artems part
Artems part was the most Complicated and it leads to Death and Sorrow...
"Purple Hyacinth meaning:Sorrow or im sorry"
What is he sorry for? Why is he sorry?
Lets assume its Mc who Is in the tombstone
Is he sorry for suggesting her into the Nxx team that putted her in so much risks it hot to that predicament? Or is it sorry for not protecting her?...
"When the red and pink hyacinth means play in Victorian flower language, it means happiness, love and protection in witch-lore."
This kinda reminded me of Artems card 'Entwined fate' and Coincidentally He wished for protection and they also Got teased by the Master To wish for marriage
Protection= Safety wish
Love= Marriage wish
But its not just that, Because when i searched it up there was also a Summary of the History of Red/pink Hyacinths that made them The 'Love and protection' Hyacinths
•Story•
For the most part, this relates to the story about Apollo, the sun god playing a game of discus with his favorite companion, Hyacinthus.
•Continuation of the Analysis•
I have a book that is also Related to greek mythology (The trials of Apollo,Book 3)
And i immediately went to the back of the book for the 'Guide To Apollo' and i saw that Hyacinthus and Apollos Relationship is not just "Friends" They were lovers... And when Hyacinthus died the Love hyacinth was born..
But there is more, The symbol inlaid onto the Gravestone.. It was A scale.. And the game Is literally Named after a God "Themis".
"She is the personification of justice, divine order, fairness, law, and custom, and her symbols include the Scales of Justice."
She symbolizes Law and of vourse it can also lead to Neil hume since hes also a Attorney or a legal consultant...But What and why is he sorry for? If its Connected to Neil hume, What is the reason he feels Sorry isnt he the Bad guy?....
Now onto Vyn who has the most confusing part
He said "Is this A dream or the reality?"
If The mc is indeed Dreaming She's obviously aware if its indeed reality or Her imagination.
But why is she with Vyn?
Therr must be something wrong with the Mc and Led the Male leads to be so worried and For Vyn to be consulting Her
Lets go over what he said..
"The chest of memories..Did you see the answer inside? Was it what you wanted?"
The phrase "Was it what you wanted?" Made me confused What is Mc hoping for? What is the anwer Mc needed from luke?...
I already talked about The 'concealing the truth with a painting part' and Im still curious, What is the Truth? What is he trying to conceal? And also 'Fool the eyes but not the heart' its like saying, "You can put up a front for everyone to see but you know Whats the truth" but Who is Marius fooling and what was his intention?..
"Adhering to your convictions but betraying your heart.. And in the end, It was all for naught"
Betraying your heart..
"Words are empty,Deeds over words, Let time reveal the answer.."
Did something happen to mc that caused her to be mentally ill that her head is hurting? Did someone manipulate her with words and she instantly Believed it which Led her to this predicament?
But im sure There is something thats gonna happen to Mc that will affect her Mental health so much, that Vyn needed to consult her But what are those signs of Death that they showed? There is so many unsolved things but as Vyn said "Let time reveal the answer.."
Good job you got through until the end
Of course there are more things left and all of these information are pretty obvious to begin with and I saw you guys making more theories that Has more information than this so have a great Day/afternoon/night!!
I read this whole thing! Yeahh! I definitely like this analysis. 😂ive been seeing similar theories in the comments as well
I like ur theory :(((( dont know wht to say about ur theory, just wanna saying thank u for u to write the theories-
this looks pretty interesting, maybe i'll play it someday,my phone storage can't take another game
Uhh... I just googled the purple hyacinth mean... meaning: Sorrow, I am sorry. Please forgive me
I really get chills
Me who skipped the prologue: 👁👄👁
pls my tears of themis restarted i have been on somewhat level 39. i havent log in for 3 weeks i think and after that my mihoyo acc logged out from ToT. i logged in again and this prologue showed up again.
He always protect her, so "hurting" will really-
As for Artem, man, I don't know.
(´;ω;`)
SO LIKE ALL I UNDERSTOOD BY THIS TRAILER WAS VYN IS A SADIST AND LIKES TO TORTURE MC OML YES DADDY STEP ON ME REMIND ME ALL OF THAT HEADACHES 🥺🤙
HOLY SHIT IT'S LITERALLY LATE AT NIGHT AND I AM LAUGHING SO HARD MY EVERYTHING HURTS BECAUSE OF THIS
All of these complicated theories but to me it just looks like vyn kidnapped her 2HSH2HG2GAGGWGAHEHA IM SORRY
okay so this is HELLA sus, I've been playing ToT for over a year now and ohh my god I completely forgot the prologue.
Heres my theory:
Sooo these outcomes, where the mls disappears comes from, what i like to call, their "character routes" (which, every otome game has that right?) In the luke part, we find out what's inside of luke's chest...
Well thats what i think about the prologue part and its so full of What and Why's lmfao
"Let time reveal the answer."
Vyn sounds like the characters in the Until Dawn games.
Little Hope, Man of Medan, The Quarry. 😂 especially the the quarry! If you seen an LP of that one most of the ppl the player interacts with in a 4th wall sense affect the story indirectly
I have a few theories :
1. MC is dead.
Edit : OMG WAIT I HAVE ANOTHER SIXTH THEORY
SPOILER ALERT!!!
@@cloud_lost_in_thought I see, thats interesting
I ACTUALLY SKIPPED IT ;-;
Wow i miss this beginning of the game...
ok but what if the boys just tricked mc to get into nxx?? pls im not ready for the angst tho-
PLS NOO i’m not ready for any betrayal i hope this isn’t the case
Vyn sus
I know that what I am about to say is totally irrelevant to the clip above, however...
[SPOILER]
Jerome Adams, for me, is eerily familiar.
MC is really sus ngl 💀 like, we have almost little to no backstory of her life. And her parents have been mentioned just once.
Y’all are trying to ruin the impression I have for Vyn.
I have to say if he were to be an antagonist it would be an absolute evil person , so let’s hope he’s simply a good psychiatrist trying to help MC
Also, if he were the antagonist, it wouldn't be THAT obvious.
idk, vyn may look sus but he's really not (tho I'm freaking out from him everytime LOL) but the game's synopsis is about one case to another case that we have been solving they have some sort of connection or linked together and have something to do with the suspect or somehow
How to get English subtitles of this game?
You download the file in the game. Guess I already did when I started the game.
Wait so mc was always dead??!
😭😟😤
Thanks
perhaps she got experemented on like Luke?
I cant even get pass the choices because the app keeps crashing on my iphone 6 😭😭
