      @@ethanpowell7428 yes, he messed up on the day-to-day running of things - not on his getting his great visions implemented. He really needed a better chief of staff to deal with the parties and such.

    Mrs May told us 108 times we would leave on the 29th March and yet here we are.
    I'll believe Boris' sincerity if he doesn't just reheat May's Surrender Treaty.

    Mostly a good speech, far too much about green on the outside and red on the inside 'clean' (very expensive/unreliable) 'green' energy. Good on taking back control of borders and a Australian style points immigration system (so long as that, at long, long, last, halts mass third world immigration into Britain) being free to do trade deals, taking back control of fishing grounds, etc.
    Leaving the EU means fully leaving the EU, including no EU control of the excellent British Armed Forces, and that is what Boris, and the Conservative Party, will really be judged on.

    • @andi8343
      @andi8343 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I severely doubt you have any expertise or knowledge on power production. How are the Tories "red on the inside" with their agenda on climate change? Thatcher literally was the first world leader to table the thought that we, internationally, should combat this threat. You seem to be only capable of thought inside narrow political boxes, science and reality themselves however are really nonchalant about politics and ideology. | th-cam.com/video/D99qI42KGB0/w-d-xo.html | watch this, i am hopeful it will change your mind. Embracing the science and acting now harbours immense economic potential, Britain has been and continues to be a pioneer in exploiting that potential.

    DWP loses court fight over treatment of severely disabled
    UK government discriminated against people left worse off by universal credit, say judges.The government has suffered a humiliating court defeat after it was found to have unlawfully discriminated against thousands of severely disabled people who were left financially worse off after moving on to universal credit.
    The court of appeal dismissed a challenge by the Department for Work and Pensions to two previous high court decisions that protected claimants in receipt of severe disability premium against a drop in income under the new benefit.The cases were brought by two disabled individuals, known as TP and AR, who had sought justice after their benefit income was reduced by £180 a month when they were required to claim universal credit after moving house into a different local authority area.
    Responding to Wednesday’s decision, AR said: “We hope that the court of appeal ruling will finally bring an end to our fight for severely disabled people not to be disadvantaged by universal credit. It is still so shocking to us that we have had to fight so long and so hard just to get the government to see that their policy is unfair.”
    Tessa Gregory from the law firm Leigh Day, which represented AR and TP, said the ruling was a “wake-up call” for the DWP.

      Do you understand what you are asking for? Wto means tarrifs with your biggest trading partner, this will hit you directly and immediately. Increased prices in the supermarkets and your exports competitiveness are immediately affected hitting you industries hard.
      You will look to strike a trade deal immediately with you largest trade partner, the EU. Trade talks would open with EU trade commissioner - an Irishman.
      Under WTO and IMF rules you would need to settle you debth with the EU and seal you borders

  • @swirlysoph
    @swirlysoph 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I agree with the use of phonics in schools but disagree with the standard expected for reading and writing and speach etc at age 5 and 6. Child development is always varied until approximately age 7. Therefore expecting each child to reach a standard so early will cost the child & parent anxiety, cause the government excessive amounts £££ repeating years, extra teacher helpers, children going from pillar to post of specialists etc when actually left to develop without this guideline would perhaps result in socially better adults with greater creativity developing (necessary for future design development in all areas). We do not need to follow in the footsteps of other countries which may train there children like dogs to attain intelligence. Sometimes the mental state of a nation should have more importance than the race for technology & other design development. (Just an idea 🤪)
