That was a watershed era of African cricket, I could lucidly remember that day when African cricket was on a trot for 23th consecutive one day international record which unfortunately stopped by Indian team. Truly this team had boundless aura, immense talent and humongous fear which could wilt opponent in a jiffy, for instance how valiantly they chased score of 434 against indomitable Australia. Also, I felt disgust and appalled when SA pushed out of 2003 WC because of jinx, honestly that inning of Klusener still conjures up in my mind whenever I recall 2003 WC. On talent yardstick SA was by no measure weak team but at lower rung on a yardstick of luck. Best of luck.
