Why am i just hearing about this?? This is absolutely amazing! The animation, wardrobe and original charcaters look just like the original Princess tutu. I could totally see this being a sequel. So beautiful cant wait to watch ❤🦢
This made me cry because I’ve been watching princess tutu since I was 10 years old, it’s been my obsession for years and it’s such an underrated anime, I felt such a connection with duck as an autistic kid being clumsy and not as good as the other kids, having a role model like her who still kept working hard despite it was something I needed to get through life, princess tutu was my hero 💖

Outside of strange music choice (bpm/vibe doesnt rlly fit) and the animation needing a bit of polish, this is really impressive for a fanmade opening! you imitated the official style really well too! good job im gonna keep an eye on this project ^^
You can't argue when it comes to personal tastes 😀 What you find strange I find perfect. I also think the song fits very well, by the end of the day PT is a magical girl anime and they can have a huge range of different ops for every new season. To be honest I was never really fond to PT opening, it's beautiful but too monotone and slow for my tastes (I think it could easily be more interesting and still keep the gentle ballet theme. Ballet is not boring and is filled with strong musical scores!). This is a fanseries and while I'm trying to keep it authentic the show also needs to evolve, get new elements and become a new version of itself -it is a new story after all. I know my tastes and choices will not please everyone but that's just how it is. I hope people will be open minded to my renditions but of course you don't need to like everything ^^ There are probably a bunch of mistakes in every animation I do and will be too. I have my short comings and sometimes sheer lack of motivation to repair something. I'm still learning, I haven't done animations of this caliber before (for about a year so far) so I'm not expecting miracles from myself. I'll improve while making, at least people will get good laughs out of my awkward animation mistakes 🤓 Thank you for the compliments and I hope you'll find this a worthwhile project to see! 🤗
This is single fan made, a simple fan isn’t gonna have all the tools to make a professional, aswell the Japanese studio usually has like insane amount of staff helping out and are actually getting paid unlike this one
