    I met Jorge at the flight sim expo and tried on the VR1, Jorge was great at answering all my questions and providing me with all the info! Thanks Jorge!

    I received my reservation code today and placed my order! Can't wait to take to the virtual skies in DCS with this headset.

    I just wish it had an audio solution like the index or pimax dmas.
    Everything else about this headset looks amazing

      We hear you. On the other hand it has 3 fast USB C ports and a headphone jack

      I 1000% agree with you and have said the same many times myself.
      IMO, the absolute best thing Somnium could do is to either release their own version of off-ear audio or partner with someone to make it a reality for the VR1 ASAP.
      I reserved back on October 5th of last year and got a fairly early order in, so I'm going to suffer through using my earbuds - something I never thought I'd do.
      The reason I am willing to do that is that this is said to be the first truly clear image with a wide FOV that doesn't lose that clarity toward the edges.
      Artur knows that we will be telling everyone that this is not the case if it is not indeed the case, so I have confidence it will be blowing me away visually.

      ​@DMan-ud6bt yeah maybe some sort of clip on option that can attach to the headstrap that is actually of high quality compared to the other options already on the market

      Koss KSC75 are supposed to be very good, and quite low cost. Maybe in the future Somnium could build an elite strap with integrated audio, but maybe wait a few months to get some good customer feedback. I think they will need to add additional weight to the rear for added comfort, but time will tell :-) Whatever they decide, it should be premium audio to compliment the headset.

    Hi Artur. Been a fun ride keeping up with your progress on the VR1 and congrats on finally releasing o the public!. Theres been some rumors going around that there are no returns for United States buyers. I was wondering if you could explain. Also if I do need any warranty support, who will be respinsible for shipping back to Czech Republic and then back to US. Do you have an estimate shipping cost to the United States. Thank you!

      Hi there, thanks a lot! US has standard warranty of 1 year and if something happens to the device the customer ships it back to us, and we refund the customer including shipping if it was a defect caused by factory. What US doesn’t have is 14 days no reason provided returns. Hope that helps

      @@SargonDragon you are incorrect. We stand firmly behind our product and I have explained at length that returning a headset without any warranty reason would cost customers hundreds of dollars on shipping and customs.

      @@SargonDragon US customers just spoiled with "no reason" returns. Let's just be honest. You can watch reviews or attend events to taste device live. VR1 clients are not random buyers, they know why they are getting this device and what to expect.
