Tractor Logging with a Winch

Pulling a hitch together and skidding it to the landing. Lengths are kept short because of three sharp turns. When the snatch block releases the cable goes slack as it drops releasing the pressure locking the chokers. At that very instant the little tree got tangled in the cable and pulled off the loose chokers. I saw the tree and new it was a goner. I thought about cutting it but didn't ....
