- So first ride out on the SL. What can I say Love it. didn't last long till I tried letting air out the valve and busting the rim tape so it had to be retired early. Cant wait to get it to dyfi to see it on the big jumps. I still stand by the Haibike its an absolute DH machine...... better than the Knevo turbo ..... i think so yes, although not anywhere near as good on jumps so if you're a dh man that Haibike is hard to beat.
Also had another save from RIMPACT yeah easily got me to the car no issues.

I’ve had a KSL for just over a year & 2500 miles now, really happy with it.
Live in the Tweed Valley and I reckon it’s the perfect bike for the likes of Golfie, Thornielee, Inners etc.
Yeah just been out on it again this weekend. Proper machine 👍

My local that is. Good stuff round there. I tend to avoid it if I’m alone, it can go wrong very quickly especially if it’s wet. Great vid 👍

My mate built some of these runs and he don’t ride some them on an E cuz you just can’t stop ,so well done guys the only trails I’ve ridden close to this is nazi gold Scotland

Was here yesterday on my hardtail and some of those lines are fucking nuts! Fantastic place to ride though, and well ridden yourself as the GoPro effect is real there!

That track with the nice berms I always point it out when riding up from the carpark at the bottom, but no ones ever dared to attempt it yet lol

@@Ruffest I’ve done quite a few of the tracks you did, even hit that same tree you did 🤣 , found that bermy one a few years ago but couldn’t persuade anyone to go down it. That rock drop ones been there as long as I can remember but even the locals that rode with us won’t do it 😂😆 , when it’s called ‘Death Star’ on strava you know what you’re getting yourself into lol
Have a talk to Mojo Rising / Geometron Bikes about and EXT coil. They fitted one to my KSL and it’s marvellous. So much grip and “calmness”.
Matt is running a Ext coil and loves it. 🤑🤑🤑
Nice video Ian. Super exciting content as always. Never ridden the SL always fought. Those bikes were a bit too pricey. I still think the haibike is better bang for your buck 💵 bar obviously to completely different bikes and Ian can I ask where did you get your rear mud guard? What brand buddy? 🤟🏽🥜💪🏽

Great ride but this kind of course is not the best terrain for Haibike. That bike is looking for speed. I know because I have one... Excellent suspension.
Did you change chainring on Haibike to 32? Easier to pedal now? Why do you need strap on down tube? Battery cover falling off?
I went out without my key 😂 had to make adjustments then lost the top of the lock. Yeah chainring is 32 much better. I actually thought the haibike was better to be honest in there. It's shorter than the kenevo
Hey Ian, when you changed front chainring on haibike to 34 tooth, how many links did you remove from chain. Thanks, like the specialized 🤟
No idea mate I just take out as many I need to have the chain slap taken up on bottom gear 👍

Ive just bought the haibike and its a very heavy bike, my 1st ebike tho so I dont know if its just me getting used to the full thing, still figuring out my suspension but reckon it will be a weapon once dialed in properly.
Yeah a bit heavy for your first one. It's a absolute machine on the dh though.
Knowing that stuff.....top riding. Sketchy doesnt come close to describing those trails. I am happy to get to the bottom of some of those in the same time..... plus 5 minutes 😂 In fact, no, I'm just happy to get to the bottom alive, after walking half of it! 😂 (Edited to make more sense 🤣)

Be careful showing bikes/vans. It's how stuff gets pinched. You've just shown exactly what's in yours. Can never be too careful these days
